Amazing tour!! Hamilton and Washington Historical walking tour was the best! Can't wait until I have taken all of Bruce's historical walking tours of NYC! Brooklyn will be next on the list! Thank you Bruce for such a great afternoon on your tour!

Bruce, thank you so much for your informative, entertaining, and passionate Hamilton & Washington tour. My girlfriend and I loved it. It was a powerful reminder of American history in our home. You are a true professional and teacher, and your love of history and New York City are self-evident and undeniable. We highly recommend this tour. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

We had the best time. My husband and I took our 10 year daughter on the Washington and Hamilton tour. We all had so much fun while learned so much about the revolution. I never really knew how important NYC and the surrounding cities were to the American revolution. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I feel like the tour could have gone on another 3 hours with how much he knew.

The “Secret Places of Central Park” walking tour is wonderful! I learnt so much about the history of Central Park and the scenic and secluded locations within the park. Bruce is such a knowledgeable tour guide knowing so much history of the park, the city and the nation in general. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. I will definitely recommend this tour to all my friends.

My husband and I took the Brooklyn Bridge walking tour with Bruce this past weekend and loved every minute of it. Enjoyed it so much, we went on the Washington and Hamilton tour the following day (and really wanted to do the Central Park one as well, but we were headed home). Bruce is a knowledgeable & personable tour guide and gifted story teller. His love of history is engaging. Highly recommend taking any of his tours. You won't be disappointed!

Our tour guide Bruce, made the entire experience of this lower Manhattan tour from beginning to end so interesting. We felt immersed in this time period in history hearing from Bruce and its importance for our country’s beginning. It was fascinating! His knowledge and passion was so engaging! Do not miss this tour for everyone to witness this important part of our country’s history in New York City.

Bruce is an incredible guide!! My husband and I live in NYC and love to book his tours when we have family visit. We’ve done the Hamilton/Washington tour as well as Secrets of Central Park, we’ve learned so much with him and look forward to taking his other tours.

We received the Hamilton tour as a gift and it was so outstanding that yesterday we took our second Revolutionary Tour, the Best of Brooklyn. Equally amazing! Bruce is super knowledgeable and relays information (who knew there were so many hidden treasures in our historical city?) in such an engaging manner that the time flies by! Walking over the bridge while listening to the fascinating story of it's construction was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and we are looking forward to more of his tours in the future (also absolutely keeping them in mind as gift ideas because what's better than an unforgettable experience?).

We did our tour with Bruce a few days ago, and are still talking about it. Bruce is hands down the most knowledgeable person on this topic I know (and I hang out with a lot of history nerds!) He personalized our time with him, making sure we saw the places of highest interest to us. We are already planning another tour with Bruce when we visit NYC again. Can't recommend him highly enough!

The best part of this tour was our tour guide, Bruce Racond! His passion for history, his vast knowledge and his storytelling skill made the three hour tour fly by! It was a cool day and Bruce thoughtfully brought us indoors for part of the tour, kept us in the sun if possible and and gave us a mid-tour break. He worked his magic to keep us engaged and interested by very capably weaving the historical landmarks, cast of characters and important action into memorable tales of our country’s founding fathers and their exploits!! I highly recommend this tour and give Bruce a perfect score!!!

I never complete reviews, but WOW. Bruce was an INCREDIBLE host!! I carefully compared similar tours (after seeing the Hamilton Musical both in Australia & now NY) before choosing this tour and all my expectations were exceeded. As a historian, Bruce's depth of knowledge on all related topics / questions was phenomenal and his style of delivery was very engaging. Definitely doing another one of your tours next time I am over from Oz! Thank you so much Bruce!!

I highly recommend the tour with Bruce to anyone who wants to learn not only about the amazing history of the American Revolution but also about the formation of New York City. I took my children, aged 6, 13, and 16, and they absolutely loved it. Bruce made everyone feel welcome, and my children had the chance to interact in conversations with him. I can definitely recommend this tour to anyone, both young and old, who is visiting New York City

One of the best walking tours I have ever taken. Bruce Racond is incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and entertaining. He can even quote long passages from historic documents from memory. And he has real respect for American history. Highly recommended.

The tour was about 3 hours long. However, it flew by. Bruce was very engaging and knowledgeable about the buildings, area, and people that helped establish the USA. Planning on taking the Central Park tour on our next visit. There is a bathroom break in between FYI

Bruce gave us a tour in Jan 2022- it was a cold day. Bruce was a great guide. He was well informed and very personal. His pictures were great. He is extremely passionate about his material and he made the day extremely enjoyable. We will definitely be booking his Central Park tour.

Brilliant family day out- organised by my husbands work. I learnt so much about Central Park and hidden histories etc. My 4 year old really enjoyed it too.

Bruce is highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and funny. His sense of humor reminded me of Stephen Colbert (fast and intelligent). Bruce knows how to explain history to adults as well as children. He goes the extra mile to show you the hidden (and not so hidden) gems of this magnificent city. After completing our tour, he offered to take us to one other spot he thought we should not miss. The tour has a feel of a walk with a friend. We have done several tours in New York and I can say that Bruce's tour was by far the most rewarding! Very highly recommended to participants of all ages.

Bruce, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and he had all kinds of photos to accompany his stories. He transported us back to a different time period and yet made us think about the freedom we have today. His excitement about Alexander Hamilton (and George Washington et al) was just what any history buff would want to hear. Highly recommend. Take this tour!

After seeing the Broadway show Hamilton, my friend's 12 years old daughter wanted to see where the events took place. We found this tour and hoped she would enjoy it enough where she didn't realize she's walking and standing for 3 hours. From the first question Bruce (the tour wizard, who was quoting from different speeches and has amazing knowledge of history and passion for it) asked her, she got engaged in conversation. The 3 hours went by very quickly and our heads were full of new information and amazing facts. We are excited to read all the email links and info Bruce sent us after the tour. If you are not interested in history, you will be after you take this tour! We plan to take the other tours Bruce offers. Thank you Bruce!

I wish I could give Bruce 6 stars. His tour is the epitome of a 5 star experience. Extremely knowledgeable, with some amazing stories. I wish it wasn't my last day so that I could go on his other tours. Cannot recommend more highly.

What an excellent and informative tour. Bruce had such detailed information about all the places and people. We live locally but have never been to this part of Central Park before.

My daughter and I went on one of the tours and absolutely loved it. I've read a lot of American history over recent years and was blown away by Bruce's knowledge, as well as his enthusiasm and energy! The tour was inspiring and fun. After having such a great experience, I plan to go on Bruce's other tours.

This was such a great tour. My brother and I truly enjoyed it and Bruce clearly loves NYC and history as he brings 100% to his tours. This is my second tour with him. I highly recommend all his tours!

We went to NYC to see the Hamilton Play and although we couldn't fit in a standard tour, Bruce Offered to do a custom version for us and it was spectacular. Bruce was accommodating at every stage, informative on the tour and a great source of information. If you plan to see Hamilton the Play, be sure to do this tour before as its a great resource and we will do another tour when we return. Thanks Bruce!!!

We took 2 tours with Bruce and both were outstanding - Washington and Hamilton and Central Park ( North). Would do more. His encyclopedic knowledge and easy presentation make for a very personable experience.

I already joined a lot of tours in NYC, and this was one of the best. Bruce, our guide, is passionate about the city, knows the hidden gems & answered all of my questions. Thanks a lot!

My wife & I did the Hamilton & Washington tour of NYC, & all I can say is that it was the best tour we ever have taken! We were blown away by Bruce's knowledge of The Revolutionary War. It was outstanding! From the very beginning at Bowling Green to Trinity Church, I soaked up the history like a sponge. I never knew how much rich history there was in NYC about the War until this tour. We will definitely do Bruce's other tours the next time we're in the city. I absolutely recommend this tour 100%

What a wonderful tour of the Brooklyn Bridge, Dumbo, Brooklyn Bridge Park & Brooklyn Heights! Bruce, the tour guide and owner of Revolutionary Tours, gives his all to give you all the fascinating history, back stories, and a window into the lives of the key people involved in the places you visit, all inclusive of funny stories, exuberance & kindness. Highly recommend!!

Bruce's NYC tours are THE best! I'm born and raised in NYC and am a tour guide at the MET and I always learn many new and fascinating facts, insights, and historical perspectives from Bruce's tours. He also is an amazing tour guide - very engaging, knowledgeable, super passionate about the intersection of American History with the history of NYC (his enthusiasm is infectious!) and he keeps the tour relevant, fun, moving at a good pace, and never boring. I've taken the Washington and Hamilton tour of lower Manhattan this past Spring and it was absolutely fascinating; Bruce pulled back the curtain on landmarks and other places I've been walking or biking past my whole life but never knew the stories behind them. Today I took his Secrets of Central Park tour which was also incredible. It was at once a learning experience, a new adventure, an exploration of beautiful and oft overlooked areas of the Park, and a great way to get in some steps before dinner at Carmines! Thanks so much Bruce!!! Can't wait to take the next tour with you (Brooklyn Bridge and then the other half of Central Park await!)

Bruce was an excellent guide for my Brooklyn tour and honestly, his recounting of the making of the Brooklyn Bridge made it interesting. I learned alot on this tour and it was fun. Will be taking a tour with him again when I return to NYC.
