Peace and tranquillity can be had amid the hustle and bustle of New York City, it’s in memory of a great police Lt, he was even acknowledged by the President. It’s only small in size but what it does have is trees and areas where nature can do it’s thing ie flowers and shrubs, lots of seating area is present

Great spot to enjoy your lunch or drink. The only downside is all the delivery guys waiting for their call.

Nice park to go have lunch peacefully and it's know in memory of the police officer Lt Petrosino, one of the early famous Italian Police Lt... Friendly environment...

The park is situated in a busy neighborhood, well kept, and with a reasonable amount of seating. It is a nice spot to sit down and immerse yourself in the hum of the neighborhood; seeing people walk by, hang out, and bring their dogs over.

Formerly Kenmare Square, its name was changed in 1987 in honor of Lieutenant Joseph Petrosino, an early 20th century NYPD official dedicated to investigating and combating, among other adversaries, the Black Hand, an early version of the Mafia in America.

Such a cute little spot we happened by on our way to the subway! Great drinks and lovely atmosphere. I really liked how the window was open so you could sit outside as well. Open late and a great detour for sure

Fantastic little spot to sit and eat lunch during the week. A huge variety of locals and tourists come in here, so it's fun for people watching. The seats in the shade get filled up quickly on sunny days and you have to watch out for birds in the trees above. Bird poop on your lunch is no fun. You get the occasional smoker who doesn't realize they can't smoke in there, too. It is an official city park, so regular rules apply and are posted outside the gates in.

Great place to sit and people watch. Lots of foot traffic pass this park. Note to self: This is one of the sites my father was photographed in 1956. The old Police Headquarters can be seen just Southwest of this park. Look down Cleveland Place.

Nice park. Packed with people, some of whom didn't wear masks. But obviously if distances were important for you, don't go here.

Awesome relaxing spot with views all around. Nestled in just the right location to enjoy a snack, play with the pigeons, and especially people watch.
