This is a really nice park. Very spacious and modern. Lots of stairs. I bet I could beat you in a stairs race if I ever see you there. Yeah you. I'm talking to you reader. If you want to have a stairs race, this is the best spot and I am 100-0 at stair races. Make my day.

Long gone is the Flushing Meadows park of years ago. It has changed, and a lot of it for the better. Bring your family for a walk, a bike ride, a run. Have a barbecue, or buy from many of the local vendors nearby. There is always something different to do there. With the Queens museum nearby, and the Hall of Science, it's an afternoon filled with sights and sounds. Watch a local team play football, or walk a little further and rent a kayak. There's just too much that is only limited by what you want to experience. My only caveat is that you leave before dark as it does tend to get dirty from everyone leaving their trash around, and all the bins overflowing with the day's refuse. Otherwise, it's a great spot to visit all year round.

We came to Flushing Meadows today to cheer on Mom during the Queens marathon. We've never been through this park before, which is right near Citi field and Arthur Ashe stadium, but left feeling impressed with how nice this park is within the area. The highlight here for us was definitely the views of the Unisphere, which is one of the coolest monuments in NYC. The marathon course itself, while redundant (it's 6 laps around the park), was great, too. We all thought the race was very well put together, and the finisher medal this year is the coolest one we've ever seen.

Massive park in the heart of queens, easily accessible from the 7 train. See the vast cultures collides and diversity at its finest. Enjoy a picnic, a bike ride, have some street food, or just a nice stroll through. Exit the park at different points to explore different varieties of cuisines from local merchants. Special tip, no need to travel to DC for the cherry blossoms. Keep an eye on the bloom reports in April/May and you will be in for a treat!

Flushing Meadow Corona Park has been a favorite of mine for many years. We cycled through Central Park, went to the Queens Museum, and saw the US Opens tennis. Now that I have a dog, I want to give him some space to roam around. My favorite time to come is early in the morning when it is quieter and fresher. Whenever I walk my dog, I remove the leash and let him explore. So glad that our dog will not venture too far away. There are many other dogs to meet and greet. Our walk will end with a sit-down by the bench to watch the locals play soccer. Overall, it is a very large and well-maintained park. Great place to spend a few hours with your loved ones, especially the furry tails.

Go there to see dragon boat racing in the summer. Or the Unisphere. Or great ethnic food.

A place for weekend relaxing and family time. There are people taking wedding pictures, people playing volleyball, soccer, having bbq,and some just laying on the meadows listening to music. Very comfy and cozy atmosphere and nice environment. Some places are a little messy and smelly.

This is a great little zoo to bring young children. Although I am typically against the idea of a zoo, these animals look well cared for. I brought a 2 and 3 year old and they had the "best day ever" (my 2 year old actually said that). I had a promo code for free admission- COOLC if you want to try that and see if it still works... But the admission is very reasonable anyhow at $10 for adults. It is not a huge place but is really perfect for kids this age. We saw the sea lions being fed, they have a small playground, aviary, bears, 🦬 bison! On a circular path, so you can loop around and then head over to the petting zoo on the other side. Makes for a great day.

A beautiful gem in the heart of Queens. Corona Park has a deep history and is a must visit for anyone traveling around the area or is looking to get out of the city for a day.

This park contains the site of the Worlds Fair, which was before my time. The tennis US Open is held here every year; unfortunately no fans were allowed to attend in 2020, this cost NYC millions of dollars.

An excellent public park w many beautiful trees and plaques of dedication. The Terrace on the Park is rusted and surrounded by long term scaffolding. There are other attractions inside however including a Theater, the Queens Zoo and also the Queens Museum, w free admission.

Matthew favorite park in all of NYC! Lots of green space, the Queens Museum, the Unisphere, the Queens Science Museum, the Queens Zoo and the Botanical Garden: all in one park. Hispanic Heritage Month celebration was off the chart fantastic. Great park for family fun or just chilling out with your coffee. This park is an absolute gem. Enjoy!

This is a great venue for any occasion. I love ❤️ the penthouse, the rooftop deck has some awesome ✨ views... I attended LIBOR’s 5th annual Global Breakfast today from 8:30 AM to 12 PM - The food was delicious and the ambiance was spectacular... The staff are great hosts, they make you feel welcome and they provided everything you need! I'd definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking 👀 for a place to do an event 🎫

Flushing Meadows Corona Park is a large public park located in Queens, New York. Here is a brief review of the park: Pros: Variety of Attractions: Flushing Meadows Corona Park has a wide range of attractions, including the Unisphere, the New York Hall of Science, the Queens Museum, and the Queens Zoo. Visitors can easily spend a whole day exploring the park and its many offerings. Beautiful Scenery: The park features a large lake, beautiful fountains, and expansive fields that provide a peaceful and picturesque escape from the city. Sports Facilities: The park has many sports facilities, including tennis courts, baseball fields, and a skate park, making it a great place for sports enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite activities. Cons: Crowded: The park can get very crowded on weekends and holidays, especially during the summer months. This can make it difficult to find parking and enjoy the attractions without encountering large crowds. Poor Maintenance: Some parts of the park may not be well-maintained, with litter and debris sometimes visible on the ground. This can detract from the beauty and overall experience of the park. Limited Food Options: The park has limited food options, with only a few food trucks and stands available. Visitors may need to bring their own food or plan to eat before or after their visit. Overall, Flushing Meadows Corona Park is a great destination for anyone looking for a mix of attractions, sports facilities, and scenic beauty. While it can get crowded and some areas may not be well-maintained, the park's variety of offerings make it a unique and enjoyable place to spend a day.

A nice place for enjoying with or without family. A beautiful place to walk, to take pictures and to enjoy. It also has some attractions for kids and adults, such as the museums and the zoo. Many food stalls and places to sit and breath. Perfect for picnics and it also has the possibility to have a barbecue.

Incredible glimpse into the old world! To better days and bigger dreams! To the coming together of the world and the journey to the stars! The site of the world expo in 1939 and 1964 holds some important relics of the past and makes for an aspirational walk and gateway to Queens museum! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Been coming to this park since I was 10 years old . If you a Queens native this is just part of growing up . It’s nice now that I’m older I can share the memories I made with my nephew and let him run rampant like I used to when I was a kid . Flushing park will always have something for you and your family to do or experience no matter the time of year . Bring your families of all ages to create beautiful memories with . Highly recommend summer movie nights of the grass with a L and some munchies

This is a wonderful park that does not get the attention it deserves. Was the site of Worlds Fair. Really only gets the attention during Tennis Season. Itd actually a little bigger than The Famous Central Park, however doesn't get the funding that central park does. It's worth a visit easy to get to by car on the 7 train.

As an outsider, I have to say that I'm super impressed with this park! So many great sculptures and works of art. You can also tell the sense of community is strong here. It was amazing to see all of the community soccer matches and families enjoying their time in a safe and open park. Perfect spot for picnics, pickup sports, sunbathing, and meeting up with friends. Anyone visiting should definitely spend an afternoon here. Will be back!

A large park with trails, soccer field, volleyball field, playgrounds, Queens zoo, and more. It's particularly beautiful during the spring and summer time when it could get very crowded on weekends. There are many food stands during the peak season which I found it cool. It's a great place for family to hang out.

Love the park. Nice walks and biking for the kids. Playground, soccer, etc. I really love it just wished people who visits and hang at the park picnic or bbq would clean after themselves. It's a shame how a beautiful park can be so disgusting with garbage everywhere. Such an iconic historical area that people mistreat it.

I came for Governors Ball, and this park is HUGE!!!! It's definitely overwhelming at times, but I'm glad GovBall was just a small section of it! Wish I was able to see it without all the festival stuff up, I'm pretty sure you could wander around for hours.

Very clean and beautiful park, however, I think the trees is not as much as either central park or prospect park, felt a bit too artificial and a bit lack of cultural experience. Otherwise it's very clean and wide, it's definitely a very good place to go for family Sundays!

Well, it's an iconic park! What can I say? I've been coming here for ages. I have good memories here and being a Queens guy, I hate to say that this isn't on the level of some other parks in NYC. There's lots of activities that go on but for me, its just not the place I come to for the things I want to do. My biggest gripe is that it's surrounded by too many parkways and highways. Grand Central Parkway, Long Island and Van Wyck Expressway. It just kind of ruins the whole park feel for me. Otherwise, its NOT a bad park to come visit and there's some cool things to come discover here. I do enjoy coming here from time-to-time because of my memories here. VERDICT: Not a bad park but it's not on the level of some other parks in NYC. It's still a cool park to come check out though. PROS: -Big park, plenty of space to do things -Lots of events take place here CONS: -Surrounded by too many expressways for my liking -Pretty flat terrain park

The park is very clean and quiet, of course, the photos are from the second and larger part of the lake, it seems that they used to have boat rental services, but it was not available now, but it was very relaxing and beautiful, it is very suitable for walking. But the lake could only be seen from a few parts, there were tall plants next to it, and it was not possible to see the lake from everywhere.

This park is always brimming with life. Most people come there to take a walk, relax, hangout with friends, and BBQ. There are areas to play just about any sport you can imagine, volleyball, soccer, tennis, mini golf, basketball, baseball, you name it! It even has an indoor gymnasium that includes an ice rink, swimming pool, and weight training room. You can purchase a Recreation Center membership for adults over 18 yo, i.e. $150 yearly membership with pool for those over 25 yo. It's free for those under the age of 18. Lockers are provided, but you would have to bring your own lock. For tennis, you would need a court permit to play, $15 for single 1-hour use and $100 for yearly membership for those 18 yo and above. You can also reserve a spot ahead of time. Again, it is free for those who are under 18 yo. Due to COVID-19, most of these single-use permit fee no longer apply. Also, some Recreation Centers may be closed. So please check the website before going.

Great park. Must see. Lots of people and very social. The Museum is cool. The Globe Sculpture is amazing, especially when the mist is turned on. Parking can be a little tricky if you're not a good driver. The flowers and scenery is amazing. Go check it out! Will not disappoint.

Beautiful park in queens. I have been there quite often and it was always great. So much history, from Walt Disney and the world exhibition to world class tennis championships. The architecture and the structure is stunning. Besides all that it is also a nice Park just to hang out....

The main reason I was visiting this place, its the Men in Black movie. I wanted to see where was the movie scene was taken. It is a nice huge park with tons of flowers. For walking, resting its a perfect place. There is also nearby the us open Tennis championship hard court.

If you need a good jog and HATE a mask..its time for me to cheat...I run without a mask but as I come near anyone pull up over my nose until safely away....there are very few people because its cold. Basically its time to run because few people in summer I won't take the chance to run with no mask so if your getting puggy this may be your time to run...basically run now in cold with no mask or summer with mask...if now just be certain the ice melted and soil dry because the flushing MEADOWS is like mud half around the lake.

NOTE: Do not pay for tours to go to the park if you are a tourist. Please learn the subway systems in NY - it is not that difficult to get around. Once you have a grasp of that, you can go anywhere and not pay those outrageous prices for tours.

  • 4/5 Natalie E. 3 years ago on Google
Walking through the park you can actually see CitiField and it is near public transportation (local buses that go to the train station) as well as the LIRR. You may have to walk a little (about 10-15 minutes) to the mall to get some sit down food, but there are food carts in the park.

Amazing place with lovely gardens. Lots for areas for kids to play around and adults to relax in peace. Being next to the Arthur Ashe stadium brings a very diverse crowd to the park during the US Open which is a great opportunity if you are a photography enthusiast

Where MEN IN BLACK was filmed and always a staple to visit when in queens. Doesn't matter if you're a tourist or a local, there's something here for everyone. Iconic landmark. There's a bunch of hidden gems like queens theater, where various performances are held, and an INDOOR ICE SKATING RINK!!

  • 5/5 Eusebio S. 2 years ago on Google
Great park with so much to see and do: there is the unisphere, the Queens museum, the museum of science, an ice skating rink, a theater, the Queens botanical gardens, The USTA Billy Jean King national tennis center, etc. what’s not to love

  • 5/5 Nancy F. 2 years ago on Google
On my vacation, had to return to see the Unisphere after 57 years living elsewhere. What a lovely park with ball fields and a few other statues and the time capsule to see. Well maintained park with lots of walkways and benches to sit and enjoy nature.

  • 3/5 Brian S. 2 years ago on Google
Not one of the crown jewels of the park system so neglected like most city parks until they need a capital reconstruction and then process of neglecting it starts again. New York City does not maintain its Parks except paint the benches once in a blue moon and pick up the garbage when it gets noticeable. Weeds, run down in areas

  • 5/5 Steve L. 2 years ago on Google
Very impressive tennis center with many courts, well maintained, good selection of sports related shops, very good variety of food choices, even though this all (food, drink, shopping) comes with a higher price tag than elsewhere.

Well it's a nice park with a lot of green space to do outdoor stuff and get away from the city, and there's that cool globe, but, I've been to a lot of parks with a lot more things to do.. Not putting it down, it just doesn't deserve 5 stars.

Came here on a Sunday evening and was overjoyed by the atmosphere here. People playing soccer while people of all backgrounds watching and cheering! Lots of families doing various activities and BBQing There was also live music and people dancing with each other which brings so much joy 🥲 Loved seeing the worlds fair attractions and wish we came earlier to see the gardens and museums

Nice park to visit. My 2 friends and I saw the unisphere globe then we rented a single surrey bike for 1 hour and biked around the lake. It was quite a workout on our legs but it was a fun experience. Went July 2022. There was trash everywhere on the ground on one side of the park.

We went in April. Cherry trees were in bloom. Beautiful. A nice place to walk and to enjoy this former World's Fair site. Make sure to go into the 1939 NY pavillion... now the Queens Museum.

Beautiful park, green and colorful flowers garden surrounded. Many activities you can do at this park: visit the Queen Zoo, Queen Library, play soccer, play volleyball, watch the baseball game at Mets Stadium, running, walking bicycling, Playground, trekking, day camping, food bazaar, or just bbq with friends and family. This park is the biggest one in Queen, New York. It located between Fresh Meadow and Flushing, easy access to get here. There is 7 train stop at Mets Station. Or just Google it to get directions by Bus, car, bicycle or motorcycle.

My bf and I decided to attend the Queens Food Market on 15th April. We had purchase our ticket prior we were able to quickly get in after the security check. There were more than 62 food stand, as much our goal was to try 15 places the lines were extremely long and sometime confusing which line for which food. My favorites was the Indian Spot with the lamb and the twister cake ice cream. I really look forward trying more food but it’s best to go in group of 4 as each person can wait in a line as we waited 30 minutes in just 1 Food Spot but loved the experience.

We did a 10min pitt stop to see the globe. As Disney fans, seeing where The Carousel Of Progress was originally presented, had historic importance. As Men In Black Fans, you can't pass up this wonderful piece of cinematic history.

Arthur Ashe Stadium, located in Flushing Meadows, New York, is the main stadium of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and is known for hosting the US Open, one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world. Here's a brief review: Pros: 1. Iconic Venue: Arthur Ashe Stadium is the largest tennis stadium globally, with a seating capacity of over 23,000 spectators. Its distinctive retractable roof makes it an architectural marvel. 2. Great Atmosphere: During the US Open, the stadium buzzes with energy and excitement. The crowd adds to the electric atmosphere, especially during night matches. 3. Modern Amenities: The stadium offers modern amenities, including comfortable seating, ample restrooms, and a wide range of food and beverage options. 4. Retractable Roof: The retractable roof ensures that matches can continue despite inclement weather, guaranteeing a seamless spectator experience. 5. Jumbotron Screens: Large video screens provide excellent views of the action, even from the upper levels. Cons: 1. Expensive Tickets: Tickets to Arthur Ashe Stadium events, especially during the US Open, can be quite expensive. 2. Crowded During US Open: During the US Open, the stadium can get overcrowded, which might affect the ease of movement and access to facilities. 3. Weather-Related Delays: While the retractable roof is a great addition, weather-related delays can still occur, affecting the schedule. Overall, Arthur Ashe Stadium is a world-class tennis venue with a fantastic atmosphere, but the experience can be pricey and crowded during major events.

USOpen experience us a must attend at least once. The lighting and park is beautiful in the evening. Well covered by police. Felt very safe. Be prepared for the ride share drop off.

First time ever being here, and I have to say just WOW!!! It was a blast getting to see it in real life compared to on TV. We were 10 rows from the court, almost dead center. Aaron Judge was there and even above us seat wise. The food we had at Mojitos was good and filling mostly but definitely not worth the price, I feel there better be the best steak in the world for that price. It is definitely worth paying a little extra for seats so you have your set seats, then just going up top in the stadium seating, which is a first come, first serve.

Especially suitable for leisure parks, the scenery is beautiful, and you can see rainbows when there are fountains. It is very suitable for taking children to play there. It's also a great place for family gatherings and sports.
