What a lovely experience. So cool to see the making of and behind the scenes input they had. Someone was there working on six costumes when we arrived, and the demo was so unbelievably neat.

Such a great experience! Amazing costumes. The artisans were super friendly and it really made the experience even better to see them live in action doing what they do best!

I had such a good time, spoke with some of the designers and enjoyed seeing the costumes up close. This should be a traveling show.

I hardly have words for how disappointing the show was for me & may guest. For $35, the few and I mean very few costumes on display were hardly the Showstoppers I anticipated! Many were not even from recognizable Broadway shows. The background info about costume making was interesting. No program or hand out. It took us longer to walk down 42nd St than it did to see the 2 floors of the show!

Was at Show Stoppers tonight. It was an F.I.T. Alumni Tour. Do not miss this! You're going to see spectacular costumes from stage and screen up close. The exhibition is in the heart of Times Square at 234 W. 42nd St. Take the tour. There are also areas where you can see costumes being worked on

Super fun and informative! As a frequent theatre-goer, it was great being able to see costumes from some familiar shows and some insight of what goes into the creation of some of these fantabulous costumes. Highly recommended!

Visited 9/11/2021. Forget 5 stars. More like 100 out of 5 stars (I'll explain in a moment**) Located in the old Modell store, this exhibit was so informative especially as someone who is now getting into sewing and costume making. There are over 2 dozen shows from stage and screen represented here. The employees are all knowledgeable and you may get to meet people who are currently working on one of these shows listed. It took less than an hour to explore everything thoroughly. Not to mention they take covid seriously and check both cards and ID (I used to handy NYC covid app) They have a store but it's from Playbill with various apparel and things. Prices are what you expect. **The other reason for the really high score: I dropped my camera at Hamilton display and my sim card popped out. I had 5 people help me including couple of workers. They even took off the front facing board to look for it. The sim card somehow ended up under Angelica's dress. Luckily it could be retrieved. I wish I got the two workers names because they were incredibly nice and helpful in my klutzy need. I love the broadway community

A wonderful collection of some of the best costumes from Broadway, TV and film. Video interviews and In person crafts artists add to the exhibit.

This exhibit is not to be missed! Watch the Instagram page for schedule of live demonstrations by the makers of the Costume Industry Coalition. Proceeds go to their recovery fund.

If you love the costumes of Broadway this is a must see exhibit. I loved being able to see the details in the designs as well as listen to the creators and artisans describe the creative and construction process. It wasn't crowded so I was able to spend as much time as I wanted at each display.
