😠 Unhappy experience. If you read my story and still want to shop there, they do have a large selection of jewelry; and the prices seem reasonable. It's a large store that's jam-packed with options. The one-star rating is because of my experience and nothing more: Upon entry, an employee pulled out... This is a wholesale store . You have to have a sales and use tax registration certificate in order to shop here there is a $50 minimum. They did jump right on me when I walked in asking for my license. Then when I said I have everything they need to shop here and presented my paperwork which I understood and did not mind giving it to him to verify, then he told me what kind of business is this I told him what it was and that I sold Boutique items and jewelry as well as have a hairdressing business going at the same place. He goes well you need a Jewelers something or other. I told him I never had in any other wholesale store that this identification was just fine everywhere else it has always been accepted .He then decided to let me go ahead and Shop although it was at the end of the day I did not have time enough to pick out more than $50 worth. I had to leave and told him I'd be coming into the city in a week .So I'd be back then when I had more time. We'll see how it goes then .but the brief run through I did, I liked what I was seeing. Until next time I'll let you all know. We'll we were back again the last 15 mins they were open . A different reception was had this time they were way more friendly this time and I was able to fly through and pick out at least $60 worth but had I had more time the damage would have been much more significant I'm not. Complaining it will be going back but for sure at least a couple hours before their closing time. Sorry they don't allow pictures otherwise I would have taken many of thdm and posted them just so you can see the beautiful stuff that's in here. So sorry. But they do have a Web site with oictures

Unhappy experience. If you read my story and still want to shop there, they do have a large selection of jewelry; and the prices seem reasonable. It's a large store that's jam-packed with options. The one-star rating is because of my experience and nothing more: Upon entry, an employee pulled out a mini cart and insisted (even though I didn't want a cart) that I take it and that I put my small bag on the bottom of it. I did as instructed and began to shop. I quickly noticed that there were others in the shop without carts, though. It struck me as odd considering how forcefully the employee had insisted that I take one; I had assumed that everyone had to have one. But, I continued to shop. Soon, another shopper stopped me and asked if I was "forced" to take a cart and to put my bag underneath. I said I was, and we compared entry stories. We entered on two different sides of the store and enteracted with two different employees, but our experiences matched. I then spoke to another cart user. She said a cart was foisted on her too. We quickly looked around and found that the only people with carts were Black. Not one of the other shoppers had a cart, and several were carrying shoulder and/or shopping bags. We left immediately. I tried not to be upset, but will admit...I was heartbroken.

This business is despicable. My go to store for years was the Jewelry House Corporation 42 W 28th St, New York, NY 10001. Unfortunately they're no longer in business. My daughter suggested we try this establishment although the reviews were not the best. She inherited my Boutique for her 16th Birthday & was eager to get some one of a kind pieces. Initially upon arrival, we were asked about a membership, forced to get a cart and read the rules along with the $50 minimum. My daughter provided her business card, business license which also included her sales tax ID #. Fast forward, upon checkout, older lady with dreadful bags under her eyes advised she would ring the items up under the house account opposed to allowing her to join as initially mentioned via required membership. And really doesn't make a difference. As it's no discount etc. ,as if. She insisted that process needs to be handled at the opposite end of the establishment, we go back there, the young lady insists the person who usually handles membership is not in. I politely told her, we will never patronize them again as we felt misled & belittled. Its disappointing in 2021, we are still being treated as less than. I will be filing a complaint against this poorly ran business to both the Attorney General Office and Better Business Bureau. I'm well aware in 2021 that organizations have the right to limit their services accordingly. However, this is not ethical, logical, legitimate business practices.

Assisted a family member in locating this place. They were so excited to see what they had. Upon entry, within sec's the man told us no entrance without proof of business license & also asked if we had a membership. Wouldn't even let us look around, kept saying we needed a license/membership which we have but I didn't understand why.they.demanded upon entry & view?!!! After reading some of the reviews I think we were racially profiled or discriminated against!

Walked into this store today hoping to shop for my business. I was immediately bombarded by the man at the front desk. He asked if I had a membership because the policy had changed. I remember previously giving my TaxID and business info before with a different person. So I told him I may be on file. Instead of looking me up, he very hastily suggests that I go to their other store. I asked him what was difference between stores? With no explanation provided, he asks me if I have a business. I reiterate to him again that in FACT have a business and if he would bother to look it up he would see that. He then demands that I show him my taxID, and in the same breath, shoos me away to another store. I told him I wouldn’t be giving business to any of their stores. He was obviously RACIST and had no interest in assisting me or anyone that looks like me. If you’re black don’t even bother !

When you first walk in you're asked if you have a membership. If not, they'll give you one that day! If they feel like it. The lady said she would give me a temporary one. Which I felt was a waste of time. But when I was ready to check out, she decided to give me the normal membership card. This is good, it.keeps the retail shoppers out! As I was perusing through the aisles, one of the guys that works there told me that they had all of the more "urban" earrings in the middle aisle. So once I found my way over there, I felt profiled because it was all of the very large faux bamboo and door knocked earrings known to be worn by African Ameicans in the late 80's & 90's. Although some, not all were from that era. That wasn't what I came there for. This is why they got 4 stars. I did pick up some very unique earrings that my customers love. The rest of the staff was very pleasant and somewhat helpful. I will go back again just because I think they have the hottest earrings in the district.

The selection and prices here cannot be beat. There's no way you can't find something you'll like. They have a restock fee, so only pick what you are sure you'll buy.

Stay away from this store, the manager is extremely racist. I was told that I could shop (despite not being a member), as long as I purchased $50 worth of jewelry. In fact, there is a sign on the storefront, which I took a picture of. I was given a shopping cart by one of the sales employee to place the jewelry in while I shopped. With the assistance of of an employee I was able to pick out a number of pieces of jewelry and I was still shopping, when out of nowhere, the manager (an Asian woman) attempted to kick me out at 5:30pm. (The store closes at 6:00 pm and there were several other people in the store. She only approached me). When I questioned why she was only targeting me, she proceeded to follow me in the store and ridicule me in front of the other customers, mentioning that I was not a member out loud and smirking at me. She let all the white customers shop in the store without harassing them. I was offended and disgusted by her behavior. I left all the jewelry in the shopping cart and walked out. I am attorney, I have been practicing for 14 years and I intend on filing a formal complaint against the owner(s), and the manager. Her behavior was completely acceptable and discriminatory.

RUDE, ARROGANT, and Doesn’t appreciate your dollar! The manager has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in life. Pls do not be fooled by the products on their website. They do not carry any of it in the store. Then when confronted, the “manager” tried to escort me out of the store! PLS DO NOT visit because you will feel uncomfortable and will be treated like a PEASANT! For a better experience and better product you can check out Wonatrading. PLS Beware!!!!!!!

This place had really thin chains. The jewelry looked cheap and there wasn’t a lot of nice things. The women told us minimum $50. We went to get cash because we only wanted two things. When we were going to pay the guy was being rude to us and told us not to come back unless we were willing to spend $50. Honestly didn’t like it.

I wish I could put 0 stars for this business. The manager (Andy) was extremely rude and unprofessional and gave me the worst treatment when I asked to use a store credit from my previous online order. I was just stunned with such a disrespectful treatment and left this place without buying anything. I am not sure why this angry incompetent person still works at this store as he is not able to handle any basic customer service issues. Very frustrated and would NOT recommend this place for having business with.
