Elise designed an extremely beautiful custom engagement ring for me. Working with her was a fantastic experience. She was thoughtful, attentive, and very communicative during the entire process. This neighborhood boutique is such a gem, and the people that work there are extremely kind! I have stopped into this store many times and purchased beautiful jewelry from there, but today I stopped in with a pair of earrings I had purchased elsewhere, hoping they could refer me to a jewelry repair shop to fix the broken hinges. Elise graciously offered to fix them right then and there, all at a very nominal price. Such a wonderful customer service experience, i would definitely make this a go-to shop for anyone in the soho area!

Great customer service over the phone, long distance and especially in person when you enter their private jewelry boutique. I started visiting this unique jewelry shop probably around 2008 and became instantly addicted to their unique and very tiny precious and semi precious gem stone rings. Sadly over the years I would either lose some pieces or have them stolen from hotels because I have been traveling steadily for three years; but Elise has had my rings repaired for me in the past and I just ordered a brand new stacking pinky ring that I enjoy wearing. Elise stands behind all her jewelry so if your stone falls off or you need a repair she will take care of all of this for you and have it delivered by mail if you do not live in New York. Whenever I have a chance to visit New York though I always end up leaving with one or two rings that I fall in love with. Next time I am able to visit I will hopefully purchase a couple of rings that I truly miss! I love the delicacy of all her gems and jewels and if you love vintage pieces her jewelry is very vintage in look and feel. Once you enter Lunessa you will feel so tempted to buy everything in sight so be prepared to be dazzled this store is very special and *magical*.

We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here last month with 7 girls altogether. They have a cute room downstairs. The owner could not have been any more patient with the girls and they all left with 2 magical creations. The girls AND moms told me how much they loved it. I would do it again next year!

Elise, the owner, does an amazing job. Not only coaching kids on beadwork, but making everything easy for parents. Yes, it's pricey, but she supplies absolutely everything except the cake -- kid-friendly (but organic) snacks, birthday candles, paper plates. And you don't have to do party bags since each kid gets a necklace and earrings or bracelet to take home. It's quick, painless, and pretty.

My husband stumbled upon Lunessa several years ago. We started going there for family gifts and it just became our go to whenever we needed anything. I grew so fond of Elise and the shop that when it came time for an engagement ring, we brought the diamond which was passed down from my mother to Elise. She designed an absolute show stopper! I could have never imagined a ring so beautiful and unique. We have since sent several friends and she has yet to disappoint!

Elise is so talented at what she does, and she is sweet and lovely as a person. I approached her for some custom jewelry and she actually took the time to meet with me and show me references and explain in detail how the pieces would be created. Rather than simply agreeing to make what I asked, she warned me that the rings I was asking for (with a super thin band) would realistically be too fragile for everyday wear. This enabled me to make more informed decisions about my pieces and in the end made for a pair of rings that perfectly strike the balance between elegance and everyday wear! Asking the right questions to figure out what someone actually wants is what I consider an awesomely professional experience and Elise does this in a kind and compassionate way. I recommend checking out the beautiful store as the pieces are one of a kind and expertly crafted. And meet her if you can - I could listen to Elise talk about her passion for gemstones and deep knowledge of her subject for hours!

Hands down my favorite jewelry store in all of NYC; if you are in Soho or even in NYC definitely make it a point to stop by this gem of a shop. Elise, the owner, is not only an amazing designer herself, but she also sources and curates the most beautiful collection of jewelry including vintage jewelry. I really appreciate that if I shop at Lunessa I am buying pieces that are unique. They have a great balance of both very simple/staple jewelry pieces in addition to statement jewelry. I have a number of simple gold rings in addition to statement cocktail rings - and get equal number of complements on all! Additionally, Elise is a jeweler I trust and turn to with any jewelry repairs and requests for custom jewelry; she recently transformed a pair of small diamond stud earrings into a stunning statement diamond halo earrings, offering her design expertise to help me customize a design that I loved. Can't recommend enough, I guarantee if you stop in you will find something to fall in love with!
