    In a nutshell, sales associates should stop thinking or acting like they owe the store or they are the bosses of their clients. Don’t judge your clients by the way they look. Be welcoming, be patient, and be genuine! I know sometimes it’s an energy conservation thing, but it is your job. Show us that you care and show us that you want to help! I had two sales associates on the day of my purchase. The first sales associate made me feel rushed and didn’t tell me the correct ring sizes but the second one was really patient and nice.

    Visited Cartier store today to tryout nail bracelet and ring, wasn’t sure about the size and style. The SA Liz Liao was very rude. She had very bad attitude. They should treat people different way. Was going to tryout the size and sure make a purchase tomorrow. When I asked her for the ring size, she told me to come back, when I will decide and my hands will be less swollen . Nonsense!!!! This is so disrespectful. You are not the owners of Cartier, only a Sales person. So please be respectful to the customers. People are trying to decide and make a purchase. Of course will never go back to this location.

    I went in to inquiry about purchasing a ring and the sales associate was absolutely so cold and rude. I wanted the Juste Un Clou ring and the lady didn’t seem to take me serious at all and was annoyed by any question that I had. She seemed completely bothered by the fact that I was in the store. I understand that the ring I was looking at was on the lower end of the cost spectrum at cartier but for a brand with reputation I think the customer service should be impeccable. I was turned off from purchasing the ring or placing an order so decided to buy it from the website instead. I was super excited about this visit and the entire experience was ruined.

    I’m a 50 years old French woman and I came to Cartier today with two distinguished British friends. I already bought the Love bracelet, the Panther watch and the Trinity ring. You can say I’m a Cartier customer in a way. We were looking for a diamond ring as my friend has her wedding anniversary approaching. The shop was empty but we weren’t allowed to see and try any diamond rings because we didn’t make an appointment. We went after to Tiffany and Van Cleef and Arpels ( not sure of the spelling!) and Messika where we were most welcome without appointment. My friend found a nice diamant ring there. Big mistake! Huge! As we remembered Pretty Woman movie!

    My partner and I had an appointment to pick up our wedding bands this evening. The store ‘admin’ had transferred one of the rings to another store location despite the items being held by our salesperson. Our wedding has been ruined and management was less than thoughtful in their response. Given the response of management we perceive this to be a matter of discrimination as we are an LGBT couple. We will be taking legal action.

    Purchased my first Cartier from this location on a spontaneous decision. Decided to call the day before asking if they had any appointments as I could not see anything online. Andrea fit me into the schedule right away and was flexible when I was running late. When I arrived, everyone was friendly and sat me down right away. Andrea showed me the watches I asked for and let me and my girlfriend try on everything. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and everything I imagined Cartier’s service/brand to be. I cannot wait to add to my watch collection with future Cartiers.

    I just read about all the awful service other people have been getting and I'm not surprised. I don't know if it's the shortage of labor or that they pay so little that they can only get the most awful people to work there. The most disgusting service. Worse than any discount store. I took my bracelet to be repaired. Months later, I have been given nothing but the run around by two employees who should be fired--Manny Reales and Gregory Lake. My bracelet band needed a new slip for the tongue. My bracelet was taken from me with an intact buckle. They lost the buckle. $350 dollars later they tried to tell me that the buckle doesn't come with the strap. They haven't found my original intact buckle and have done nothing to make things right. My bracelet, months later, is still there with nothing being done and no manager available to address the issue. I will never again spend a dime there. Tiffany's here I come. There is something really wrong with the Cartier organization. Stay away, spend your money where you are appreciated and respected as a customer. Not there!

    I wished I read the reviews for this location sooner but I went here because they had an available opening days before my birthday in November so I hoped to just get a battery change. Not only was I not able to get my watch back for my birthday but it now looks like it won’t be ready for the holidays. What was a battery change covered by the warranty turned into them saying it required a complete service which of course is not covered by the warranty. I don’t understand why this is needed as I’ve only worn the piece a handful of times for special occasions but they are the experts so I trusted them. I’m willing to pay the cost of the service but would really like my watch back. I did not have this experience at their fifth avenue location when I had to change the battery for my other watch. I love my Cartier watches and expect a level of service that should go with the name especially if I’m paying for it.

    We went here several times, and every time, reception and the guard were very disrespectful. They told us to wait outside even though we had an appointment, and were irritating at us that they were doing something. And there was no welcome drink or chocolates. Everytime. Getting worse experiences here. Never going to come back this store again. Cartier needs to teach their employees.

    My repair experience with both this location and Cartier on the whole has been extremely disappointing. I left my time piece with this location for a repair in January. I was informed that, due to supply chain issues, the repair would likely not be completed until May. I was fine with this. May came and went with no update. Twice I contacted via email the representative who had assisted me and heard no response. Now the middle of June, I called the location several times. Finally, when I was able to speak to someone, they informed me that the facility was waiting for “spare parts”. In July I called Cartier customer service, who contacted the facility. This seemingly nudged them to fix my watch, as two weeks later my repairs had been completed. After paying, they asked if I wanted it shipped directly to me or to the boutique. I said shipped directly to me and confirmed my address. Today I learned it was sent to the boutique, who I have still not heard back from. This is a world renowned luxury brand. I had expected better service. Overall very disappointed.

    Walk-ins are welcome, but only to browse. Unless you have a scheduled appointment, you are unable to make a purchase because the “consultation” with the sales associate will take about 1 hr. This should’ve been clearly stated on Cartier’s website and at the store. I had set intentions of making a purchase, but was not able to without the appointment. The associate at the front door was kind and offered to help schedule me for the same day but later time; unfortunately, the time didn’t work for me. Keep that in mind if you plan to do other activities in the Hudson Yards area.

    Had to bring in a bracelet for repair. If anybody needs to make a purchase or any other service, please ask for Simon. He is lovely and beyond professional. Service at this location is a 1000 times better than the fifth avenue location. I’m taking all of my future business here. The fifth avenue mansion has lost its appeal.

    I would say that the customer service was bad, but it was non-existent. I placed an order for a Love bracelet for same-day pick up as our wedding anniversary was the following week. The website stated that it was available at this store. Well, after placing the order for immediate pickup, I get an email stating that it would be ready the following week, 2 days after our anniversary. I tried calling but hung-up after 10 minutes of waiting. Website Chat function was not operational. Message Us was "Not Available". I emailed the e-boutique email with no response. I tried emailing again a few days later. A week later I tried a different email. Still no response. I finally had to call the credit card company to reverse the charge. All they had to do was switch the same-day pick up to delivery and all would have been well. No one seems to care.

    After reading the reviews, I was wary of coming to this location. Especially me being a woman of color. Nonetheless, I called Wednesday evening asking if I could make a last-minute appointment. SA Liz was able to schedule me for the same day. Unfortunately, when I arrived, she was still helping her client. As I waited, the greeter (I wish I could recall his name as he was so kind) offered me sparkling water, dark chocolate, and a comfy seat. After about 5 mins, SA Christine offered to help me. Christine was kind, helpful, and patient throughout my indecisiveness. After about an hour, I finally decided on three pieces. I haven’t been this happy with a purchase in years! I had such a great first-time experience at Cartier. I appreciate all the staff who contributed to this.

    Worst customer experience ever. Sales associates were lazy, rude, ignoring and did not care how much a customer was waiting to be served. There were a few customers at the store but most of the sales associates were chatting each other or working on the computer. Extremely disrespectful. Cartier should educate and train its sales associates to well acknowledge that the service that its sales associates provide should be as excellent as the products produced by the brand.

    We had a wonderful experience today at the Cartier boutique at Hudson Yards. Corentin assisted us and he was complete pleasure to work with and absolutely professional. While we usually do business at the Fifth Avenue location, we plan to make future purchases at Hudson Yards. Thank you for all your help, Corentin!

    I have been trying to get the cord for my Cartier Trinity Bracelet changed at Cartier Short Hills since November I have made five trips and every time I did I was told that they had no colors available or when I arrived the store had closed early. Yesterday I stopped by the Cartier at Hudson yards and has an amazing experience! They were super quick and accommodating. They had the color I wanted and were super nice throughout the whole process. I love Cartier Hudson Yards!

    It was my first time visiting this location. Our SA was Violeta. She was amazing. I could not say enough positive compliments about her. She’s so attentive and made me feel welcomed. She wasn’t pushy into making a sale. I was a bit nervous prior to reading all the negative reviews about this store but when I interact with her she’s awesome. If anyone looking to shop here I would highly recommend her. Thank you Violeta, keep up the good work. We will definitely be back.

    We were immediately greeted and accommodated by Jason and Paul Kim. They were able to deliver the Cartier experience and made me truly value this transaction. I would highly recommend Cartier at Hudson Yards given their tentativeness and professional demeanor. I will definitely be going to them for anything Cartier going forward.

    It was my first time shopping at cartier and i have to say my experience was pleasant i was helped by a lovely lady named yang. She was very presentable, welcoming and helped me with all my needs, even offered me something to drink. I love the products they had and the packaging after i bought my items were amazing, made with love.

    I was weary to visit this location due to the negative reviews but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m glad I did! I came in to have the silk rope on my Trinity bracelet changed. I was greeted upon arrival and within 2 minutes of browsing I was helped by Yaasmin (I believe that’s the spelling 🤔). She was so sweet, helpful and patient. She took the time to listen and let me choose. It’s a little out of my way in terms of accessibility by train, but I will always come back to this location.

    I gave the Hudson yards location another chance and My sales associate was absolutely outstanding! My experience with the other SA was disappointing but when I dealt with Christine she was so sweet, caring and went above and beyond. I will recommend everyone that I can to this SA because she truly made my purchase an amazing experience. When I think of luxury brands, I think this is the customer service that we should we receive. Very very pleased.

    I am a big Cartier collector, I love the brand and the pieces. I came in the store to make a return ( my mom didn’t like her Birthday gift) and picked out a bracelet that needed to be ordered because there was no available stock. A week after I realized no one contacted my from the boutique to thank me for coming in, or give me any updates about the purchase. I called the boutique and was sent to the answering machine. I was extremely confused. Two days later I was called my the Boutique Manager who was absolutely phenomenal and made all my stress go away. I just wish there would be consistency in the customer service as Customers are coming for the High End luxury experience.

    This is for the Hudson Yards store - They welcome you when you want to buy something BUT if you go back to get something repaired you’re not important anymore and then no one has time to do something that will take 5 minutes! So customer service is not the best. The person at the welcome desk at the Hudson Yards store who checks you in needs to improve her soft skills. Disappointing.

    This was the worst shopping experience I have ever received. Having in mind I spent thousands of dollars at this store, I expected a professional experience. I made an appointment and waited over one hour to be assisted with a simple exchange. I was just being ignored. On top of that, they accused me of not giving them the item I was exchanging back, meanwhile the sales associate had misplaced it. I will never be shopping at this location again. Absolutely terrible.

    Meh, I’ve experienced better. Debating between two items so I made an appointment to see them in person and that turned out to be a little more challenging after I saw them IRL. I needed some time to really look and decide. The SA asked if I was done with them and just walked off with them after I told him I needed a minute. Ummmm, how do I decide if I can’t see them to compare and try on? The SA also rushed me and told me that his next appointment is coming in soon. While the item I got was beautiful, the shopping experience was terrible and far from a “luxurious” experience that Cartier hopes to boast.

    I wanted to share my recent experience at the Cartier store on 2/24/24, and regrettably, it wasn't as positive as I had hoped for a brand of such prestige. The associate's engagement appeared to be at a bare minimum, which significantly impacted my overall experience. I felt the service fell short of the high standards I expected from Cartier. I value the brand and believe in its potential to provide unparalleled experiences.
