Been here with kidney stones for over 5 hours in pain. Only saw a doctor and nurse one time because as seen below they where just SO busy with all the patients based on what they said. They practically just came to me just to tell me they will see me shortly. I Will NEVER come again and definitely DO NOT recommend to anyone. A hospital full of humans yet no humanity. The Nurse and RN attitude is disgusting to top it all off, they treat you as if your wrong for complaining

The front desk staff are very rude and are always worried about clearing the entrance area instead of worrying about helping the patients. The wait time is incredibly long and the staff here are extremely rude. It’s like the hiring managers seek for put hostile, arrogant, discourteous, impolite, unpleasant staff. They say this hospital is super clean but from my experience I barely saw anything sanitized or wiped down. The sad part here my last visit wasn’t my own visit I accompanied my husband because he was having pains. When I worked for Midwood Ambulance I worked with this hospital and in comparison to all other hospitals the nurses are always running around, the doctors are no where to be found, never know what’s going on, and never have the discharge papers ready. This is not a great place for patients or staff. This hospital is a horror story. The quality of care here is trash. You’ll probably have better luck at Montefiore. and they need to remove the trash bald headed police officer at the entrance, he’s is disgusting.

Two stars because of the uneducated triage nurse regarding a service dog. I came in around midnight due to a fever and some other issues , I entered with my service dog with my badge and service dog properly badged and harnessed on duty. The triage nurse told me I had to leave my dog outside before going into the emergency department, I had to educate her on the law, legally my service dog has legal access and is to not be separated from me. there are only two questions the ADA allows anyone to ask which are “ is this a service dog” and “ what tasks does the dog perform” The triage nurse was already irritated I was advocating for myself and proceeded to ask me “ why do you have a service dog” She also seemed very irritated after asking for my medical history she literally stopped writing information down once it became too much for her to comprehend—- I’m really not a nasty person but this hospital needs to educate themselves on the law or it will lead into a nasty lawsuit down the line if she does it again to another person she will become a legal liability—- Unfortunate visit. Besides that, the doctor was a great listener and very thorough with her interpretation on what was going on with my health.

One of the worst ER experiences in my entire life. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. As we entered the hospital, the security guard named Jonathan clearly could see my mother struggling with the door. She is 85 years old and could not open it. He DID NOT get up to assist her. This individual lacked empathy, kindness and professionalism. Most evidently a display of reverse racism and this will be addressed to the NYC Commission on Human Rights in a separate letter as well as the NYC Department for the Aging. Secondly, the ER was worse than Grand Central Station during rush hour. They were understaffed and had no system in place to deal with the patients. My mother was thrown to the side and placed on a gurney with a total lack of instructions or care. I assessed the situation and made the wisest decision to seek treatment elsewhere. Absolutely AVOID the ALLEN PAVILION AT ALL COSTS if you value your health and human dignity.

If I could put ZERO STARS I most DEFINITELY would. The nurses and doctors and security guards are very rude and ignorant. Columbia University is so much better than this extended branch. They prioritize kids and emergencies more than they do in this raggedy place. It’s so disgusting here. Keep away from using this as an emergency room. You will stay forever here. They have taken 2 hours to give my son a head scan from a fall and he’s an infant which is why I came. Very rude and ignorant people

I had the best labor and delivery service here. Dr Anita Holman is the best Obgyn to ask for. And labor and delivery RN Grace Piedad works very professional and I wished the moments I stayed in her care was a never ending. She was so calm, respectful and so empathetic. As a nurse myself, I will describe her as a true definition of the nursing profession. God richly bless you and I appreciate your kind hearted service.

I would give them 0 stars if i could. The care in the ER was horrific. Its filthy. The staff pretends to be deaf, and could not be less helpful if they tried. We waited 6 hours just for pain medication. Forget about actually doing a workup. Ive been to plenty of city ER and they are all bad, but this was awful!!!!

Last week on Friday, November 18th, my wife went into labor and we delivered our beautiful baby Zoey at the Allen Hospital. Immediately my wife was received by Stacey at the front desk, who signed her in to be seen by the triage staff to make sure she was in labor. She was very warm and friendly and made my wife, who was already nervous, feel calm and reassured. Everyone there was absolutely amazing! Once she was admitted, Doctor Doe and the nursing staff took excellent care of my wife and baby. They were constantly monitoring her and the baby and would update us consistently. After her cesarean, we spent the next few days in the hospital. The maternity staff who attended to my wife and baby were equally amazing! Being first-time parents we asked a bunch of questions and all the nurses and doctors were very patient with us and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Even though we did not catch everyone's names, we would like to thank everyone who attended to us during our stay. A few names we managed to remember were Doctor Doe, nurses Michelle, Raeena, and Shibi. Seriously, a huge shoutout to this hospital, we couldn't have been in better hands! Thank you again for taking such great care of my family. Sincerely, Stacey, Tony, and Baby Zoey Sierra

My mother has been in the ER over 24 hrs. The day nurse was the rudest person I've ever encountered. Literally yelling at me on the phone and hanging up after saying, "I just got here and I don't know anything about your mother. Do you want me to lie to you? Is that what you want!" We've had to call several times to get her food and now it's been 7 hours and we can't get anyone to take her to the bathroom. Not even a bed pan. They said, "Doesn't she have legs?" She's elderly and was told not to go by herself, aside from the fact that she's hooked up to equipment. Nurses hide the buzzers so they can go on their phones all day and not do their jobs. You get better service at a 3rd world country! Most inhumane. Someone needs to SHUT THEM DOWN!

My mom was transferred to Allen from her nursing home for internal bleeding due to a stomach issues. The staff including Drs, Nurses, Nursing Assistance and Social Workers were ALL phenomenal. They are professional, respectful and so considerate of what the patient and the family members are experiencing. They were super communicative and very patient with my many questions. Special acknowledgment to Dr Shah for his constant updates, commitment and dedication to his patients.

I spent the day in the ER at NY-P Allen Pavillion and I cannot say enough good things about the care I received and the staff. Both what I observed around me and experienced myself. Everyone was happy and truly cared about every patient. And if you're willing, they're willing to Crack a joke with you. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I was in bed 10, on Oct 30, from 12pm to 7pm..

This has to be the worst hospital experience of my life. Came for a chest xray and got here at 11:00 am. I am 8 months pregnant and have checked in online so I thought I wouldn’t have to wait. they made me wait for two hours. The front staff of radiology was extremely rude and wouldn’t give me any answers except saying wait. I left after three hours without getting the X-ray I came here for. So unprofessional and rude.I hope no one goes through what I went through here.

Don’t come to this hospital unless you’re looking to get misdiagnosed! Came in around 11am last Thursday after passing out and having severe stomach pain. I was already aware of a 6cm ovarian cyst I had and was guessing it had ruptured. Checkin was fairly quick, and then I waited an hour for a pelvic exam which is understandable, hours on hours for other testing which was getting annoying, and then 3 hours for an ultrasound which at that point had me fed up because I was in the ER for nearly 9 hours, barely being checked up on too. I was in pain the whole time I was there, and the nurses, NP’s, doctors and pretty much everyone working there had an attitude and did not care. Once my ultrasound was complete the discharge began immediately, and at this point the nurse practitioner in the ER that day was not even willing to give me full, truthful answers, he was just trying to push me out the door at that point since I had to get a little nasty with them since they were being nasty to me. My ultrasound results showed a 2.5cm cyst, and when I questioned the NP about this because I was told it was 6cm previously, he just goes “idk” and told me I had a UTI. Well, turns out my cyst did burst (another doctor that actually cares about patients looked at my ultrasound results), and I was prescribed antibiotics for a UTI I don’t even have. I’m upset that my pain was just written off as a UTI when I even knew myself that the cyst had to have ruptured because the pain I had was beyond unbearable, but yet again the staff here literally do not care what you say and do not care about the pain you feel while in THEIR CARE. Everyone in the ER are nasty people who don’t actually care to give truthful and helpful medical care. So yeah, avoid this dumpster fire of a hospital and the rancid staff they have.

Today I involved in an accident and went to this hospital which I didn’t choose. EMT guys took me there because that’s the closest hospital. After registration EMT guys left me in the hospital, I seated there for 4 Hours no one even asked me how I feel. Then I asked nurse what’s going on? He told me the horrible thing that hospital didn’t assign me any doctor yet that I can get treatment , and he even don’t know how long it’s going to take for assign me a doctor. Then I just walk out with my pain. I would love to suggest New Yorkers that if you have any kind of emergency don’t go this unprofessional, irresponsible, kindness less place.

I was in so much pain and asked the ER nurse to lower the pain. They didn't do anything and I suffered almost 5hrs. The stuff in the hospital very unprofessional. They are very reckless and inexperienced. I asked the doctor I was in pain on the lower abdomen could you help to lower pain and he said could you jump it was terrible experience in my entire life. It's unexpected and unprofessional. People go hospital for treatment not for fun. Especially me I don't like to go to hospital untill emergency. I don't recommend this to anyone. I wasn't cured still I'm in pain while I'm waiting this comment.

Apparently after you have an 8 hour major surgery - you have to ASK for assistance in brushing teeth, getting washed up and any other activity of daily living ! My husband actually smelled when we walked in room day 3!!! How do you possibly wash yourself up etc when you are full of drains, catheters and in horrific pain? MD was amazing and we are very thankful for that - but after surgical care - not great. Living so far from hospital - which btw all parking was full! - made it very hard to ensure he was getting help - would recommend for the md care only. Let me now add the whole dc process took 4 hours and NO ONE WAS COMMUNICATING WITH ANYONE! - so now you have a pt going home crying in pain because it wore off before he got into car - I was called at 1 pm to pick him up - nurse had no clue, rude , and also pa had no clue - WILL NEVER EVER RETURN HERE- and will tell everyone I know!

I recently gave birth in this hospital and I have to say that as a new mom admitted to deliver my baby i was not sure what to expect. All the nurses and doctors that took care of me were so welcoming, compasionate, patient and were always willing to answer the million questions I had. All the nurses were fantastic but I want to specially thank nurses: Nikki, Annie, Shibi, Betsy, Melanie,Caitlin and all the other nueses that made our stay one of the best memories in my life. Thank you , thank and thank you for being there for my unborn baby and myself when we needed it the most!

Doctors were fantastic; super kind, empathetic, emotional, etc. The staff ER staff were horrible though. They were saying slurs, they kept on bothering and making fun of me while I was incapacitated, and I was being talked about openly amongst 5+ staff members. The two times I went to this hospital I was lectured about God and how I need to read the bible. I am going to avoid this hospital at all costs in the future. Dehumanizing experience.

This emergency room have a very poor service. One of the nurses put that she already gave my mom medication. We both are sitting together no one came. My mom waited for a room over 16 hours to then wait 3 hours to get discharged. The only 2 nice staff was Jennifer, Nana and Chavely Rodriguez Patient Services Coordinator who went above and beyond to reach the team of doctors to finally get out of this place. Never again they need better management skills...

My mom is hospitalized here fir a second time. First time was when the psych dept existed here. I don't like their sister hospital at 168th street. Here my experience from the ER to all the nurses on her floor as she's been admitted have been so kind and compassionate w mama's care. I call every morning to check in on her before I get there at noon. They are organized and return calls within an hour often times within 30 minutes. Today we had a musical recreational therapist visit and it made mama so happy. I dont have complaints about this hospital.

I went here to see a spine surgeon because I'm having terrible back pain with sciatica due to a vehicle accident about two months before the appointment. I provided the MRIs. I was barely able to walk into the doctor's office. He just looked at me for 5 minutes and told me you just need pain medication, without giving me any explanation as to what may be causing my pain. I told him that I have been taking medication but it is not working and I'm still in pain. He just recommended I go see a pain management doctor. Three months later and having EMG test showing sciatica on my right knee the pain management doctor told me I need to go see a spine surgeon. I wouldn't be going to back to this hospital. They are now more worry about making as much money as possible and not providing treatment to patients.

I visited this hospital for the first time for a blood test. I am not a patient but I did notice that the hospital is more advance in technology than other hospitals I currently visit. I was surprise they had metal detectors at the entrance and security wil take your picture I was a litle uncomfortable wondering about my privacy but then I realize that my chart profile picture was updated they also gave me a visitor pass wih my photo. The security guards are very nice and helpful and the staff was very welcoming. I had to wait for my test since they computer went down but the wait was not long. They called patients right away. After I was done I decided to visit the caffeteria at the hospital they had a nice healthy selection of food. They even had chicken lasagna, clam chowder soup, mashed potatoes and bbq chichen not spicy. Very tasty. The following day I got my test results right away. I was very happy since I was worry about the results. I will definetly visit this hospital again. .

We had an amazing experience this week; 98% fabulous. Starting with the 2% non-fabulous: the emergency room is a total zoo. We went there Monday morning, and spent the night there and most of the next day, before my husband was admitted. You could write a novel about the place. We spent the night under bright lights with endless alarms and quite an interesting crowd of people (a lot of street homeless). One other non-fabulous: the first night my husband was in the hospital, he was doing a prep for a colonoscopy in his room and the toilet broke, it started leaking. A truly awful housekeeping staff member made a huge racket about cleaning it up and I ( a patient's family member) ended up cleaning it myself just to get the awful housekeeping lady out of my sick husband's room. Now to the fabulous: My husband showed up there very sick (ended up diagnosed with cancer) but he had an amazing care team. The medicine team, GI team; I can't praise them enough. They took such good care of him, along with the nursing and all of the support staff. We felt so looked after and so informed and connected; Dr. Allen and Paige coordinated our care; Dr Bowman and Dr. Anklesaria of the GI staff were lovely and gave us all the info we needed after finding out my husband had colon cancer. The providers connected us with aftercare with a top notch team for my husband's treatments. I would totally go to this hospital again.

I had my same day surgery done at this hospital yesterday. I wanted to say how friendly everyone was. The most attentive Nurses, extremely experienced Anesthesiology team, and my amazing Doctor and his team. Thank you!!! It was absolutely worth it to come from out of state to receive the treatment and care that I needed.

ELIZABETH the RN on the 2nd floor spinal ouch recovery MADE THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE BETTER FOR ME. She spoke to me with the most compassion and patience, I've ever experienced. She took so much time to help me through the mental and physical pain I was feeling. I suffer from a mental disorder as well and she made me feel safe. KRISTINA the RN who took over from ELIZABETH, was also incredible. NOT only did they help with my spinal recovery, they prioritized my mental safety and health. (After I felt unsafe) THE MENTAL HEALTH PHD. (MAURA BOLDRINI) THEY SENT ME AFTER SURGERY, WAS HORRIBLE!!! I FELT VERY BELITTLED AND DISRESPECTED BY HER. SHE HAD NO EMPATHY, WAS RUDE AND DISMISSIVE. SHE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF MY MENTAL CONDITION, EVEN AFTER I TOLD HER WHAT I HAD AND SHOWED NO INTEREST IN LISTENING TO ME. (NOT TO MENTION THE FACES SHE WAS MAKING AT ME AND LAUGHING). SHE ALSO TRIED TO GUILT TRIP ME SAYING SHE CAME IN ON HER DAY OFF JUST FOR ME. SHE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS. VERY DANGEROUS TO PATIENTS BC SHE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF MY MENTAL STATE. -DO NOT SPEAK TO ANY MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AT THE ALLEN HOSPITAL. THEY WILL PUT YOU ON WATCH AND RECOMMEND ANY DEPRESSION MEDICATION. THEY DID NOT LOOK AT MY MENTAL HEALTH HISTORY AND MADE MY MENTAL STATE WORSE. IF YOU WANT FURTHER DETAIL IN THIS MATTER PLZ CONTACT ME DIRECTLY.

I recently gave birth and I can say I had a very good service. The nurses are all very friendly and took good care of my baby and me.They were very attentive. When you needed supplies you didnt had to wait long they brought it right away. I will truly recommend it. Nurse carmen and melanie were very great. Keep up the good work. The food was pretty decent you are able to choose from my chart the choices they had and that is great.

My experience here was that it was a very, very busy hospital with patients everywhere waiting to be seen by the doctor. It seemed like they were a bit overpriced for the quality of service they offered. I have to wonder, this is the closest hospital to my house however I am not sure it is where I'd like to be sent in the event of a life or death emergency. Are they up to the task? 🤔

I had a terrible patient experience at this ED. I checked in with the front desk at around 5:30pm. I was brought to a bed in the ED at around 7:30/8pm. My nurse (Eileen Pena) was initially courteous and attentive. She administered my medications and placed a lidocaine patch on my back (at around 9/10pm), then later returned to administer IV steroids and fluids (around Midnight). I had an intense burning sensation at the IV site when the steroids were pushed so nurse Eileen had to remove the IV line and told me that she would ask the doctor if it was still necessary for me to receive fluids. A doctor visited me some time after the steroids were administered and due to ill effect of the medications, she mentioned the possibility of being admitted for pain management, to which I asked for a moment to consider this decision. The doctor said that she would return to discuss my decision and informed me that she would also speak with the nurse about re-placing the IV line. Unfortunately, nurse Eileen never returned, and I was left sitting for another couple of hours wondering whether someone would be coming to place the new IV line and push the fluids. Eventually, I left my bed (while still in pain) at around 1:30am to seek out nurse Eileen. At that point, nurse Eileen told me that she was occupied and that she would ask someone else to place the new IV line. It seemed that she had never actually consulted with the doctor regarding next steps. After another half hour with no progress or communication, I approached the charge nurse on duty (Johnny, last name unknown) about the situation. It should also be noted that a small group of staff (including nurse Johnny) were in the nurses station chatting and giggling at that time. I explained to Johnny that I had been at the hospital for about 9 hours and that I was waiting to hear an update about my plan of care. I also informed him that the bag of IV fluids had been hanging near by bed for hours as I awaited someone to place the IV line. Nurse Johnny, who in my opinion was extremely rude and impersonable, pointed to another patient's room and bluntly stated "you see that patient over there? He's dying right now." Nurse Johnny then told me that he was unable to assist me or provide me with any update, and that all he would do was direct me to my assigned nurse. Even after I explained to him that I was unsure who my assigned nurse was at the time, as nurse Eileen appeared to pass me off to someone else when I last approached her, he continued to repeat "that patient over there is dying, okay?" I explained to nurse Johnny that I too work in healthcare (at a level 1 public hospital, with limited resources and overwhelming need) and that I understand that there are different levels of need. I also asked nurse Johnny why staff were in the nurses station chatting and giggling in the midst of a life and death patient situation, to which he had no response. Overall, nurse Johnny's demeanor was very cold. Not to mention that I believe it was out of line for him to so blatantly broadcast the critical condition of another patient. Nevertheless, I recognized that nurse Johnny was unwilling to assist me at that time and thus I attempted to reapproach nurse Eileen, who was noticeably annoyed by the encounter. When I asked her if there was any information about my plan (e.g., admission versus discharge, fluids versus no fluids), she informed me that she could call the doctor to come see me if I wanted. When asked about the wait time for the doctor to return, she replied "I can't say. Maybe an hour or so." When I expressed frustrations that I did not want to just walk out of the hospital with no clear post-discharge plan, she stated, "well we can't keep you if you want to leave." In complete discouragement, I returned to my room to wait a few more hours. Ultimately, I left the ED at around 4:30am, still In pain, never having received the IV fluids (see photo of full IV bag), exhausted by my terrible interactions with staff, and regretting my decision to even visit this ED in the first place.

I delivered my first baby here November 1. Dr. Rupley and Nurse Roxana were amazing. I would definitely ask for them with my next pregnancy. They made me feel comfortable through out the entire process. Room were a bit small and the food was bland. However, I did not appreciate the unprofessionalism from both anesthesiologist that were helping me get an epidural. I honestly felt super uncomfortable that they were going to mess me up because they both had a disagreement and kept going back and forth with each other right in front of me. Thank you Roxana for making me feel comfortable in that mean time.

Came here for a burn and would have been better off staying home. They tried to give me ice for my burn, which is NOT what you are supposed to do. I ended up standing with my hand under the faucet for about 2 hours and was sent home with zero instructions, and a single tiny pack of bacitracin that didnt even cover the wound area. I was given a number to call for a follow up the next day that didnt have any appointments open for more than a month. this was one of those moments where I realized our healthcare system is very broken, Any non life threatening injury you are better off treating at home and getting info off of doctors on youtube. And honestly, I wouldnt even come here if I was dying. I would rather die in peace.

Wanna give a shout out to all the doctors and nurses who were part of my surgical journey. On Monday 9/27/21, I had surgery on my left quadricep, at the Allen Hospital. The surgical team consisted of Cheryl Buenaventura (RN), Elizabeth Tsvetkov (RN), Sherry Liao (MD), Jody Davis-Mitra (MD), Sharon Frias(MD), Justin Hellwinkel (MD), Oliver Panzer (MD), Lynette Atterbury (RN) and my authopetic surgeon Dr. Lauren Redler (MD) . A special shout out to Dr. Lauren Redler (MD). She's my authopetic surgeon, and a master as what she does. She's kind, considerate and walked me through everything that would happen to me that morning of the surgery. She spoke with me an hour or so before the surgery and explained the entire procedure from beginning to end. After that talk, I went into surgery feeling stress free and confident. I also, want to highlight the nurses below for assisting me in helping me get my blood pressure back to normal; after recovery from surgery, until I was able to be released from the Allen Hospital. Cheryl Buenaventura (RN), was the nurse assigned to me from the time I arrived. She funny, smart, super caring and compationate . She even missed her scheduled lunch hour due to the high blood pressure issues I was having. Lynette Atterbury (RN) picked up from where Cheryl left off and stayed with me until my blood pressure was no longer an issue and under control. Lynette was the last person I saw, constantly checking in on me to make sure I remained stabilized. After, she walked me out to my vehicle, making sure I had a firm command of my crutches and discussed how to take care of myself for a solid recovery. I've read many reviews prior to writing mine and have to say my personal experience overall, was 5 star.

Worst ER. Horrible care. Understaffed and non caring Dad in ER for 7 hours with a horrible cough, had covid! No one bothered to give him a covid test until asked if he was tested. Admitted. Two days later didn’t even give him protocol IV for covid positive hospitalized patients. Put him on 3rd floor which is a low level medical needs floor. He’s definitely getting worse not better. Do not under any circumstances go to this ER for urgent care. They have slipped in the once stellar care they provided.

My wife gave birth in this place and we were treated very nice. There is a nurse by the name of Carmen, she make us feel like family. Very lovely person.

Being at this hospital was both mentally and physically draining. I was in pain for more than 12 hours, and constantly throwing up. I was in the “fast track” that closed around 10 pm and I was left alone, lights turned off, nurses and PA were gone. I kept asking what would happened and nobody answered, they kept saying someone would come, and nobody came. It was not until I asked if my fiancé could come in with me and he advocated for me and a nurse finally showed up but disappeared for around 3 hours. He kept asking if someone would come and if it wasn’t for my fiancé the doctor probably wouldn’t showed up either. On top of that, I have Type 1 diabetes and my blood sugar was checked only twice during my 9 hours in the ER, when I entered, and HOURS after. If it was not because I have a constant glucose monitor (sensor) probably my blood sugar would’ve been low or high, and they wouldn’t even notice. They didn’t even bother to check my blood sugar. When I was discharged the nurse had the audacity to ask if I have T1D, which just adds to the disorganization and miscommunication of this hospital because she did not even check my chart. If you can avoid this hospital, please do, for your own safety and health. Stay safe.

We had our baby girl at this hospital. What became clear to me by the end of our journey at this hospital, was the consistency of care and the harmony of caregivers. Patience, kindness, teamwork, dedication, and professionalism were the traits I found in common in different units of the hospital. I hope NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital will become a role model for other hospitals in the New York state and beyond so that expected parents like us would have a more enjoyable, assuring journey.

Had major clavicle and vertebrae surgery at the Allen Hospital. Dr. Christopher Mandigo performed the surgery. You could not ask for better care. The experience from the parking attendants to the nursing care,to the food and ancillary staff, care was excellent. Highly recommend!

I had a simple hernia surgery at Allen. From the time I arrived until leaving I always had constant attention from staff. The room I spent most of my time waiting had a view of trees, the Harlem River and the Marble Hill train stop across the river. It was very relaxing long before i was given any sedative for the surgery. In recovery I was well monitored and cared for, once my vitals were correct I was able to get dressed and go home. Everyone was very professional and site felt clean, safe and peaceful.

The place is looks clean and honestly like a recently built hospital, which makes the physical setting feel more comforting and trustworthy, but the bad bedside manner and flippant attitude of (some, def not all)the nurses and doctors left a lot of room for improvement. If working with sick people or people who are suffering annoys you, you should not be working in a field where your relationship and communication with your patient is crucial. Do better. If it wasn’t for a considerate nurse, I think I’d have been vomiting stomach acid from my raw throat hours after begging for a SINGLE extra anti-nausea tablet. My doctor spoke to me condescendingly and accused me of being an alcoholic (lol), and when I was trying to explain what her coworkers told me, I was responded to with an oh-so-kind “I’m the only doctor here so thats a lie”. At least you inspire me to be better in my future career. Hope my stomach gets better soon! Its been three days of inability to eat properly :)

I had an incredible experience at this hospital. I was treated so well in labor and delivery and in the postpartum room. The staff was nothing but kind and supportive on my labor journey. Everyone was super professional and insured my needs were taken care of. The food was really good. The rooms were super clean. I’m very fortunate to have given birth in this hospital. All my fears of labor dissapeared. Thank you Allen hospital for such an amazing experience and thank you to all the nurses that took care of me and Eli.

I had. COVID, the staff took care of me with love & care. I have a very difficult diet to follow where I could die. Along with that, I have dry mouth. The oxygen increased the dryness, I couldn't eat. The chef made an especially Delicioious gravy. I was there in Jan.

I visited my mother in the hospital and I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility and the doctors' bedside was excellent. all my questions were answered in a way that anyone can understand. God bless everyone that works at this facility. a MILLION thumbs up.

Staff is great I got in at 9pm left at 4am the next day. Only got seen once, if we're counting the nurse at the front desk I just still am so distraught. But I can't be mad, they have the hardest job in the world. But wow 6 hours waiting, thank God I wasn't poisoned.

Snotty, arrogant, pompous attitude filled staff. Grossly understaffed. Covid protocols out of control for visitors, yet they don’t even test a sick 92 year old father of my gf until she requested it a day after admittance. Test comes back positive and they only give him IV and over the counter couch syrup and then a day later after pressed by gf reluctantly start remdesivir. Absolutely pathetic care and do not recommend this hospital with its current staff, their attitudes, and patient indifference.

Never herd so many people cry out for help and be ignored. Was there for almost 15 hours with nothing but no results and a hospital bill. 2/3 nurses were helpful, First nurse most likely forgot she was my nurse and I’m sure this caused me to be unseen for the first 2 hours

The waiting time to just to get a doctor to see you in the emergency is more than 5 hours which terrible. Never coming here ever again. They are understaffed. Not enough doctors. I don’t get the point of the emergency room if they can’t try to treat us at least within 2 hours.
