Visiting from out of town. Came for a visit after not feeling well for over 10 days with runny nose and cough, my doctor told me to visit an urgent care. Saw this place had very good reviews and was in-network. Check in process was great, but that seems to be the only great thing. My vitals were taken and I was asked my symptoms and any other comments I had. I said that my doctor recommended a chest x-ray and to listen to my lungs. When the doctor came in, she only checked my lungs and as if never heard about the x-ray. She then went on about COVID and how that may be the culprit even though I tested twice at home and results were negative. Regardless, I did PCR and strep throat tests. For my cough, I was given Benzonatate, which didn't help at all. The cherry on top was that I was told I had bronchitis and nothing was done to treat it. Next day I receive COVID results and they're negative, as if that was a surprise for me. The bad thing is my condition is worsening. Fast forward a few days and I'm in the ER with Sinusitis. Thankfully they had competent doctors there and I'm feeling much better today. Wrong treatment by Dr. Anna, what if I had something worse? Could have been a fatal mistake. Wouldn't step foot in this place again.

Oh no, another insurance mill. Came in for a Rapid test. Saw 3 different staff. One took vital sign, one used the swab and at the end an MD to ask if I have questions. I asked how different their rapid from the home test? They said it is the same. Home test costs $15. Guess what they charge the insurance for their “ process” including a doctor visit. They are the reason health care is so expensive in the US.

Walked in, no wait. Very clean facility, very helpful staff at desk. The online check-in was a bit trickier than expected, but to be fair, I was feeling really lousy & not terribly sharp at that time. Excellent nurse and doctor- they really listened.

I was sad the Union Square office closed. It was more convenient and the staff wonderful. The midtown office was a great office. The staff is fantastic, physicians assistant was friendly and efficient and the doctor was professional and listened to me. From the first minute I walked in I knew I was in good hands. If you’re sick this is the place to good.

Came in here today last minute because of a severe cold. The staff could not have been nicer, the front desk women were very kind. The nurse who checked me in and took throat swab- was so patient and nice even though I am such a pain/anxious. The PA who came in also took the time to speak to me and was nice. I’ve always had such negative experiences at urgent cares but this place was great. Will definitely come again.

The staff was very welcome and friendly. Doctor, Anna, was personable and professional. She treated me like an human, unlike some docs who seem annoyed by questions. She quickly diagnosed my issue and offered a solution. She also welcomed follow up questions in the days after my visit should something arise. Charlotte at the front desk and Selena, the doc’s assistant, were friendly and helpful. Great experience.

The front desk receptionists were really kind. The medical assistant and doctor did a great job of getting me in, situated and handled and out the door. I was really nervous coming in but they got me squared away. If you need any quick medical assistance in the city, choose this place 100%.

I want to commend Anna who saw me about a possible UTI. Her exam and recommendations were careful and thorough and she phoned me as promised with the lab result. She then expressed concern about an alternate diagnosis which I then arranged with my own Dr. as she said she could do the exam for it at urgent care but could not prescribe the medication for it. I then was able to be seen within hours by my own specialist who confirmed Anna’s alternate diagnosis. Anna saved me a lot of time so was able to get medication for it sooner. Everyone there is attentive and kind. Anna made a stressful experience much less so by her attention and followup. Thank you !

Quick appointment. My 3year old needed a quick doctor visit. The staff was courteous and caring of our needs. They were patient with him. We are not from NY and being in a strange place made him feel comfortable. Would go there again.

The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. In addition, even during the height of Covid they made sure to get me in and out quickly and efficiently. They got my prescriptions right in and I was in and out and had my prescriptions within an hour/ 90 minutes. I would choose midtown NY urgent care for any of my urgent care needs. Thank you!

Wonderfully polite staff and was seen in 20 min by the doc. Rx got sent to a nearby Pharmacy. From steeping in the front door through being seen and then picking up meds-under an hour!! Love this place! The way healthcare should be.

Appreciate the call ahead option to hold your spot. Took daughter for a school physical. Great pricing for this service. Medical staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor was nice and took her time to ask and answer questions. Office was clean. Large lobby with sufficient space to keep distance if desired. Everyone wearing masks which is much appreciated, especially in a medical facility.

The clerk made the process very easy. She was extremely helpful. The female doctor I saw was not very helpful. She didn’t explain anything. I am assuming she thought I was having GERD and gave me protonix 40 mg twice a day. So not sure if she thought I had an ulcer. She didn’t say she just said she was giving me meds to take twice a day. She also didn’t explain why I got this episode of possible gerd or what to do to help the situation. Very disappointing. I am also a nurse which she didn’t know so I have some background on different medical conditions and medications, but if I was an average patient I would have been very clueless about what was going on. It is extremely disappointing that A doctor spends 60 seconds with a patient and cannot educate them about what’s going on or even have the clerk print some type of printout about the diagnosis and how to deal with it. When I registered for my appt online it gave me an ID to access my portal. I was assuming I could look afterwards, but it is actually only for COVID tests so there is no way to see your after visit summary unless they print it off for you. So make sure to ask them to do that when you are leaving. The purpose of this review is so that medical staff will make sure that they thoroughly explain what is going on with a patient coming to them because then the patient can take initiative in making their care a priority as well as being in control of what’s going on. If we don’t give them the information to do so then they are more than likely going to return with the same issues at hand.

The staff there was EXTREMELY kind. My son took me there to get a Covid test, but then he had to leave to meet a friend who had driven a great distance to see him. He accidentally still had my bank card on him, as he had been making all of our Uber arrangements. Anyway, they let me rest there and wait for him to come back. I would definitely use them again! They were the best!

Excellent experience at this urgent care center. Professional and friendly staff, and the place is immaculate. Highly recommend. Update: Anna at Murray Hill is amazing. Follow up call to West Village put me in touch with Tiffany, who was lovely and very helpful. Thanks to all of these front line folks. They are truly an asset to this city.

The staff at Midtown is super friendly, professional and efficient. My wife and I walked in for a PCR Covid test for traveling, and we were helped immediately. Within minutes of providing the required information we were in a room getting our test. Thanks for making this often tedious process easy and pleasurable.

We’ve been to Midtown Urgent care a few times since July 2020 for Covid testing and they are professional, the process was smooth and we always had the results on time - when they are not sure, they warn you about the delays before you get tested. I recommend to make an appointment on line. Stay safe everyone 🙏🏻

Easy appointment scheduling process however my appointment was at 10:35am and I was not seen until 11:45am. Staff was nice but had no information to give patients when asked about their wait time. There should’ve been some type of virtual line or calls made to patients informing them of a more accurate wait time. There was also no easy way to social distance once inside, these are things which should be thought of.

Encountered a racist PA by the name of Anna Woolfolk who was discourteous and rude and who was yelling something to me about the website in a waiting room full of patients. It was a clear case of medical racism by the PA, Anna Woolfolk; additionally, it was my first visit there and the support staff was also very unfriendly and especially the African-American medical assistant with glasses who came in to assist me. They, apparently, don't get very many patients of color and are hostile to patients of color. I reviewed some of the reviews from other people who'd presumably had experiences with this location; I think, to be honest, a lot of them must be fake reviews given what I encountered. She was overtly hostile to be honest. Was not seen promptly and waited an inordinate amount of time to be seen. Two medical assistants entered the room and, again, neither of them introduced themselves. Terrible experience. Have gone to other walk in medical offices before and was never treated so abruptly.

Care was convenient and correct but they made a mistake and billed my in-network (as listed on both my provider locator website and NY Doctors website) insurance as out-of-network, making services cost ~$400 more than expected. They did not disclose that this location was out of network when they gave me treatment (probably because it’s not actually out of network and they billed it wrong). Trying to contact their billing statement provider, practolytics, to get them to correct their mistake has been a complete nightmare and I have spent hours trying to get it resolved. There is no email to contact Midtown NY Doctors Urgent care, and practolytics ignored or did not receive the email I sent to their email listed on the billing statement. I have wasted so many hours trying to resolve this, and deeply regret coming here because of the headache their billing mistake has caused.

Wonderful staff members, Nurse and Doctors. All of them were so helpful and supportive. Required to get the PCR test result the very next day, as I was flying the following night. They did all the possible way to expedite the test result and yes they were able to delivered my test result early morning. Because of their dedication to serve the community, I have a peace of mind and was able to travel on planned schedule. Once again thank you Midtown New York Doctors Urgent Cares. Highly recommend.

I remember being an overwhelmed, emotional wreck before entering this clinic. I stopped by after an infusion around the corner for what I thought was a simple assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a minor issue. Dr. Kotapali calmly explained to me the urgency of my situation in combination with my other medical conditions. This physician is so warm, so clear and knowledgeable that I wish she was my primary physician. We not only discussed the condition for what I sought help for, but she gave me much needed encouragement related to my recent kidney failure diagnosis. She discussed new medications, advancements in technology, new research and pointed me to where I could get the care I needed. Thank you, Dr. Kotapali, for being so caring and patient, for holding my hand as my tears flowed, and helping me to see that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to the office staff who are approachable, calm and patient.

The NP was tremendous — communicated all, understood where I was coming from, etc. Cannot say enough about him. BUT I waited more than an hour after paperwork to get started. That doesn’t feel like urgent care. It feels like understaffing.

Charlotte at registration was pleasant. Selena was kind and helpful. Anna Woolfolk was also quick and efficient for. The full team who assisted me were professional and kind. The facility was clean. I was on vacation from Savannah, GA and it was a pleasant surprise to receive such good care.

This urgent care was fantastic! My twin sister injured her foot on our last day in NYC. We were greeted by Charlotte who checked us in for our 9:15am appointment on Friday the 13th. Selena the technician, and Anna Woolfolk, PA were efficient, professional, friendly, and explained the entire process clearly. It was very refreshing to go to a medical facility out of town, and have the entire staff make it enjoyable. Thank you for ending our trip to the city without a lot of hassle.

I was visiting from California and got a tooth infection. This location was 4 blocks from my Airbnb. I walked in and it wasn’t busy at all. I was in and out in less than an hour with the needed meds. Everyone was very pleasant! Nothing like being so far from home and having to see a doctor. Thank you for an easy painless experience to the staff!!

Have come here before and had a great experience but went again today and had an awful experience with Dr. Rupal Bhingradan. I’ve been having trouble breathing for a couple months with some mucus coming up (sorry for tmi but part of the story) and felt like there was something going on with my sinuses or something stuck deep in my lungs. I told her this and after listening to me breathe 3 times she said your lungs are completely clear and said I had anxiety. I know for a fact that I don’t have anxiety and work has been very easy this week and tried to tell her that. Also mucus wouldn’t be coming up if it was just anxiety? I asked if there were any other reasons for what was going on or other hypotheses to which she said - no because your lungs are clear. As a doctor it’s your job to actually listen to people and not gaslight them. At the very least, educate the patient on what the other possibilities could be and you can still say your opinion as a doctor. Horrendous experience with her. Caveating that the rest of the staff and the doctor I saw last time are all incredibly helpful, nice, and the establishment is clean and reliable.

Terrible service and staff. Went in for a Covid test they did a terrible administration, barely swabbed my nose and made me wait to tell me that it’s negative. Immediately came home and took a rapid test and it shows positive. Don’t waste your time they don’t know what they’re doing.

When I came to this location, I saw Dr. Bhingradia. I really liked the facility and short wait time. However, when the doctor came in she did not greet me and she was curt and did not do a proper examination. She didn't bother to ask questions or look at my medical history. She gave her opinion in a very arrogant manner after spending one minute with me and dismissed my questions and concerns. If you want a quick Covid test, I guess this is place, given the reviews. However, if you come for another reason, I cannot recommend Dr. Bhingradia.

I was here for a weekend trip and felt very unwell. I called ahead on the Saturday morning and they told me to come on in. The waiting area is warm and professional (well-decorated for fall). The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming — she helped me find a nearby pharmacy and looked up the address for me. I only sat waiting for about 15 minutes, most of which was filling out the intake forms. The nurse was efficient and listened to my concerns and took down all the details. I was seen very quickly by the PA, who was very friendly and a good listener. They prescribed me what I needed right away. I was in and out in half an hour. Excellent experience!

Had a great experience here! I came here as a walk-in for a COVID PCR test since I was feeling a little under the weather and wanted to rule out COVID. When I arrived, they were very prompt and had me check in to their virtual waiting line. Waited around half an hour and then had my nose swabbed and also spoke to a PA. Super helpful - they made me feel at ease the entire time. Update: Got my (negative) result within 24 hours via their portal. I got a text and also an email. Overall, super easy process. Definitely recommend!

  • 5/5 DJ S. 2 years ago on Google
Went in for a rapid test. Line was somewhat long but everything was smooth once you got into the waiting area. Staff were organized and efficient. Received my results within 30 minutes.

  • 2/5 Nina C. 1 year ago on Google
My first time here. Faster service than expected. But unfortunately I came here for a simple rapid test and they only provided me with a paper stating I will be responsible for payment (after submitting to my insurance) after putting me in a room and doing my vitals. So now I will probably be charged a whole doctor visit, when my only point going in there was a rapid test. Obviously my brain didn’t work fast enough to react, but the way they putting things isn’t appropriate either. We are still in COVID times. Simple and pure rapid testing should be still available without fearing being billed for a whole doctors visit.

My mother and I went in today for rapid COVID tests in order to visit my father in a rehab facility (which requires you present a negative test result at the door). I am not one for reviews, but New York Doctors was great. I am from out of town and knowing that a place like this exists makes me a whole lot more comfortable traveling. The staff was friendly, the office was clean and accessible, and the timing on how long it would take a doctor to see me was spot on. The doctor didn’t rush me out, took time to listen to my symptoms, and had me leaving a whole lot more comfortable then when I walked in. 5 stars

I was traveling in NYC and fell and cut my head. We called and made an appointment. When we arrived, the receptionist remembered us and was very efficient processing my insurance information. The wait was very reasonable considering I was a walk in. The nurse was very efficient taking my vitals and prepping for the doctor. The doctor was very nice and professional. I have been using Midtown Doctors Urgent Care clinic for the past 4 years and won’t go anywhere else for my urgent medical needs. The front desk staff is always kind and respectful when greeting you. And the doctors at this location are beyond great. I have seen Dr. Bhingradia numerous times and she is quick and efficient, while making sure to fully assess your needs. It was such a quick and easy process. I went to 2 different urgent cares before this one and they both did not take my insurance which is weird because I have NY Medicaid. Nonetheless, everyone was incredibly nice and the nurse who took my vitals made my day (thank you for inspiring me Dahlia). If you need to be seen by a doctor on a short notice, you gotta go here.
