Listen to all the reviews! This office is definitely a scam. I went as a new patient for a simple physical exam and I got labs and chest X-ray done. I was told all this would be covered on this visit. Lo and behold I was charged $50 for the chest X-ray, fine I paid it. Few weeks later I got a bill for the labs. I called my Insurance and they told me it's because the doctors office didn't use the correct billing code for preventive care which it was since I was only there for a physical check up! The billing person from the doctors office, Andy was so rude and very condescending. I should've known before coming to this office. I'm currently in the middle of fighting to get my bills fixed but at this point I have low hopes. Read all the yelp reviewer, a lot of people had gotten huge bills from visiting this office. Please please go somewhere else.

I was looking for a new doctor. I’m 49 years old. I asked to have all blood work done including hormones especially. Turns out she forgot to test my hormones my blood was only tested for everything else. When I take a day off from work and ask a new doctor that I’d like to be tested for everything and it was not done. I don’t feel she listens or retains a patients request. I also mentioned I was getting colds constant. She mentioned testing for the flu that was not done either. I was tested for allergies . Apparently that was not done correctly because I should have had a reaction to some of it according to the doctor. I was asked if I took medication the night before which I did not. So they weren’t sure what happened. Overall she was a nice person but not what I’m looking for. I will search for a new doctor with who I can continue going for yearly check ups etc. Someone who is thorough and listens carefully and can execute what is needed to the T.

I was going to become their new patient but... They required my credit card information. It is their office policy. I've never heard of such policy for the medical office. So I had to cancel my appointment. They would not take me without it even though I have medical insurance. I wish I knew about this at the time of making the appointment. What a waste of my time.

I came in today for a physical, the tech who took checked my blood pressure was great. Then I saw Dr, he was great as well. The Dr requested that I get an allergy test as well as my labs. Once the Dr left the allergy tech was supposed to come in. After about 15 minutes she came in and told me to fill out the allergy survey, she said she'd be back in 2 minutes to do the test. 20 minutes later there is no sign of her, after 30 minutes I put my clothes back on and walked out of the room to physically find her. I saw her around the corner chatting with other co-workers, once she saw me she said "Oh I forgot you were in there". This is completely unacceptable, everyone knows Dr apt can take a while but I came in for a physical and spent 2 hrs in the office and didn't even get to complete the exam. Once the allergy lady finally came back in I had to do the allergy exam which took another 15 minutes. Then they said go upstairs and get my labs done. By this time 2 hrs had passed and there were several others waiting to get labs. I left and was told to come back to get my labs at another time. Its honestly absurd that a standard physical takes over 2 hrs, not once did the Dr come back and tell me what he prescribed me or how to take the medicine. The allergy tech "forgot about me" (her own words) and I didn't even get to complete the exam. Go elsewhere, there is zero sense of urgency and you'll likely be forgotten about like I was.

Used to be a good place. The doctors are great, however, the billing insurance handlers are horrible. I have been going there ten years. They called me literally ten minutes before my appointment that had been on the calendar for weeks to tell me that the practice no longer takes my insurance (a major carrier). I took a day off of work for this and was told “don’t worry, we won’t charge you for not coming in.”

I was looking to change doctors since I changed jobs and the location wasn’t easy to get to anymore. I chose Dr. Tarar due to her amazing online reviews and I’m so glad I did!! She is hands down the kindest doctor I’ve had to date. She’s so easy to talk to and really listens to everything you say. I felt that I was being looked after with a lot of care and I’m happy she’s my new primary doctor ☺️

I thought I had already written a review which is why I didn't do it sooner; and that is a disservice to the rest of the Midtown community. MOM-Midtown East is the best. I started coming here after I moved to NYC in 2019 and seeing Dr. Kini is amazing and the reason I keep coming back. I moved to Jersey City recently and after trying a few doctors in my area I make the commute just to be seen my the MoM team. They're thorough, listen to all of your concerns, and explore all options

Dr. Sales was amazing! So personable and I didn’t feel rushed at all. She took her time, we had a real conversation about all my concerns and needs and she was very understanding. I loved how she took the time to also connect with me on things that I was experiencing, making an often scary and transactional process feel so caring and inviting. Ended up staying longer than anticipated because she wanted to run some tests immediately and I’ve never been more grateful. Even the referrals were done swiftly and on site. Actually looking forward to my next visit. Aside from my experience with Dr. Sales, the entire MOM staff was superb. My favorite part was how welcoming they were. Usually you get expressionless medical staff, but this was not the case. Highly recommend MOM and Dr. Sales.

I just wrote a Yelp review for this awful place. Do yourself a favor and DON’T GO HERE!!!! If it was just the disorganization, I might be a little more forgiving. But the bedside manner of Dr. Braunstein is REPULSIVE!! Over a week ago, I came in to get medical clearance for an upcoming surgery. My usual doctor saw me, said all was good, and sent me on my way. Well I recently received news from my place of surgery that I now need blood work because the doctor didn’t do that. I speak with a rep from MOM and she tells me I can come in at anytime to get the blood work done. I arrive at the office, am told to wait for the doctor, next thing I know Dr. Braunstein comes out berating me saying I don’t need it, etc. I explain that I’m only doing what my surgeon is requesting and if he has questions, he should ask them, because I’m just the patient. He tells me “I don’t have time for this” and just walks away. Awful tone, made me feel terrible! So bad I was crying in the lobby while everyone else around completely ignored the situation. I felt completely unsafe. I’ve NEVER been treated this way by a medical professional!!! I feel bad for any of his patients. What a complete jerk! I’m never returning to this awful place!!! I’m already stressed about this surgery, and this experience makes me want to throw up. BEWARE, STAY AWAY!!!

Very efficient, convenient and clean facility with comprehensive annual physical and all on-site testing. Dr Lucchesi took her time to listen to my concerns, address my questions and offered to refer some specialists. She was patient and compassionate. Really glad I found this location and great medical team for my annual physicals.

Amazing experience and highly recommend Dr. Olivia Lucchesi. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She remembered my concerns and does her homework beforehand to come in with proper advice and follow-up. Outstanding communication. She is also great at follow up re: results and referrals. If you have the chance to book with her, go for it. You won’t regret it!

Overall my experience with Dr. Kapoor and the entire staff at Medical Offices of Manhattan was fantastic. I felt like my exam was very thorough and I really felt heard and important. Every single member of the staff who I interacted with was wonderful, friendly and warm. I did wait a little over half an hour to be seen but admittedly I arrived early and it was a busy day of the week. Regardless of the wait, I am going to keep coming back and will recommend this location and these doctors to anyone and everyone I can. I felt like I got high quality care from an experienced team and I’m so happy to have a doctor with such a great bedside manner and a wonderful rapport. Highly highly recommend!

Love this office and love Dr. Sales! From checking in with reception to prelim exam with the assistant and my appointment with Dr. Sales, everyone was so kind. From beginning to end, I felt like the staff was welcoming and attentive. Dr. Sales patiently listened to my concerns and walked me through everything for follow-up, I love that she took the time to explain things to me, and made suggestions for health maintenance. Thank you Dr. Sales!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Sitembile Sales. She is the best physician I have ever had! She is genuinely caring and takes her time to do what is right by the patient; she conducts thorough assessments and discusses the risk and benefits of treatment next steps. Despite having a full schedule, I never felt rushed or that my needs were being deprioritized. She is incredibly meticulous and I feel comforted knowing I am under her care. She has changed my perspective on my medical trajectory for the better. She is truly an exceptional physician and I am so grateful to her!

excellent care from the moment you walk in. high professionalism all the way around. Dr. Alex was terrific, patient, and knowledgeable. my visit was truly a superior experience especially compared to other health care experiences I've had at large hospitals where the anonymity and bureaucracy is quite a barrier.

Not the closest location for me, but because the staff is so friendly and attentive, I always return here. They’re on time for appointments and doctors are quick to come by your room. There’s always someone available to text/call about scheduling too which is such a plus. I visited with Olivia Lucchesi, PA and had such a great experience, everyone here helps you feel comfortable and is very patient. Can’t recommend this location enough!

Dr Braunstein has been my doctor for a few years now and he’s the best primary care doc I’ve had. He’s up-to-date on everything, applies the best science, but then tailors it to apply to the individual. He takes into account the whole patient and his knowledge of their personal experience. He doesn’t practice cookie cutter medicine. Highly recommend.

I have never in my life seen such a disorganized practice. Don’t ever expect them to give you a call back within a timely manner. It will take weeks to get in touch with your provider. There is no escalation process for when you need something urgently from your provider. It has caused me to miss important treatments and medications that were timely. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Kapoor for around six years. She truly is my primary care. She knows me well and always remembers my history. Won't see anyone else. The facilities are clean and all the staff is very friendly.

I saw Olivia Lucchesi. She is very professional and cares for people. Unlike previous physicians I've encountered, she gives me her undivided attention and never rushes our appointments. She even took the time to review my EKG results while I was undergoing other tests, promptly returning with the findings. She explained everything in the way I can understand. Additionally, she proactively reminds me to schedule vital appointments such as eye and dental exams. I would definitely make appointments with her again.

Dr. Kapoor is the best doctor that I've had to date, and I've had some great doctors. She has exemplary beside manner, she is patient and takes her time to review lab and test results in details. When you leave MOM office...you feel like you were seen and heard. You also leave with a realistic action plan, that will yield the best results on your return follow-up visit.

Dr. Seilhan is a great doctor - she listens to everything you have to say and explores every possible avenue of diagnosis and treatment, which stands in stark contrast to many of my past doctors. The facilities are also very comfortable, making an appointment is a breeze, and transferring my records was as simple as one email.

My wife and I consulted with Dr Lisa Alex for the first time since our primary doctor of over 20 years had just retired. We didn’t know what to expect from a new doctor and new office because we were so accustomed to our long time doctor. Dr Lisa Alex and the staff at the office made us feel very welcome and most importantly Dr Lisa Alex was very thorough and took the time to get to know us. We both felt at ease that Dr Alex would be able to fill the void as our primary doctor going forward.

Extremely disappointing experience. The first time I went in the doctor had some good advice to give. However, when she ran some tests that took a few days to get back, she didn't bother to follow up with the test results. I called her thrice to try and discuss the results but to no avail. I was left trying to figure out the results meant myself. The second time I visited a different doctor (Dr. Christy Cherian) she said she would send my prescription directly to Capsule, on online prescription service. They had some confusion about the prescription and for the last 2 days both Capsule and I have been rigorously trying to get in touch with the doctor for a clarification but to no avail. I still haven't got my prescription even though I am in acute pain (for no fault of Capsule). I will not be going back here.

Dr Alex, is the best primary Doctor at Mom. Dr Alex is very efficient in her work. It is great to have a primary Doctor that truly goes out of her way to give you the best care possible. This was a great experience from start to finish. I went in for my annual physical checkup. I found the staff very polite, efficient and thorough. I recently booked my first annual physical with Dr. Patel, which I was assured would be fully covered since my insurance was in-network. I came in expecting just a physical, and communicated that to everyone I talked to, including Dr. Patel. When Dr. Patel walked into the room, she immediately started trying to upsell me to see MOM and other specialists like dermatologists and allergists even though I had no issues in any of those areas that would warrant those visits. Then, she ordered an extraneous service with another MOM department since she thought she heard something odd with her tools. I didn’t argue since I was pretty scared by her prelim diagnosis. Then the other department came back saying there was no problem. A week later, I was hit with a $1.3k bill from MOM- this is after the portion covered by my in-network insurance. This was quite literally the worst doctor’s experience I’ve ever had, and would recommend to steer clear unless you want to be scared into paying for services you don’t need. UPDATE: I reached out to Stephanie, and she connected me with Mary, the billing manager, who provided me with a detailed breakdown of my bill and helped get me a discount. Triple check with your insurance on which services are covered for an annual physical before going here and be careful what you consent to.

The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Kini is amazing. She is friendly and caring. She takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. Really liked Dr. Alex. My first impression - very nice, a great listener, and seems to care about me as a patient. The office staff is friendly and efficient. I hate doctors. No...I don't really hate them, but for some reason I have an irrational fear of them. So much so, that I think I suffer from something called "White Coat" syndrome. But even with my phobia, I have to recommend MOM. Their bed-side manner is A+. Their facilities are clean and tidy and the nurses are so sweet and easy to talk to. And let's not forget Dr. Braunstein. He's quick, but thorough, which is what I love. He tries to get me out as quickly as possible, but tells it like it is and I respect that. MOM take really good care of me and I plan to live till 100, so this relationship will probably last FOREVER!

I've been a patient here for a little over a year. At first, I was happy with the care I received, but one year later and I've encountered nothing but problems. The first issue I've had was with a charting error. I live with multiple chronic illnesses & needed a doctor's note about those. When I called the offices, I was told that my doctor, Dr. Julian, hadn't properly charted my illnesses at all. One illness was incorrectly written as having been diagnosed in 2022 (I've lived with this illness since 1998 so that was incorrect...) and the other, MAJOR illness wasn't in my record AT ALL. I know doctors aren't always the best at note keeping, but it is pretty egregious to leave something like that off a medical record completely. I spent a lot of time discussing my medical history with her and documenting my history through the office's forms. At best, this disconnect demonstrates a lack of organization and respect, and at worst, this disconnect could potentially be dangerous. The second issue I've had as of late is with trying to get in touch with anyone--it's nearly impossible to get a competent employee on the phone. When you are able to connect with someone, they claim they don't have the ability to transfer calls, refuse to give you their name & repeat the same phrase over and over again "rest assured, a manager will be in touch with you soon." It seems like they use a third party call center rather than office staff. Today, the woman I was speaking with told me she was not authorized to disclose her name, her manager's name or whether she was calling me from a MOM office at all. Maybe this is a common practice, but I don't believe patients should be forced to go through multiple layers of confused, and incompetent call center employees whenever they have an issue with their health or medical bill. I'm very disappointed with MOM and would advise all prospective patients to think about whether personal connection is important to them. If so, find a different provider. UPDATE: Though it took writing this review, I was contacted by Stephanie almost immediately. I was also contacted by Merry from billing who was able to resolve my billing issue quickly. I've since spoken to a few more managers from the patient care team and I appreciate their efforts to investigate my concerns. This is the level of attentiveness patients should be receiving from the jump, and I hope MOM continues to hear feedback and implement necessary changes.

Dr. Lisa Alex has been my primary care physician for a couple years. I don't normally do reviews, but Dr. Lisa Alex deserves one. She's wonderful! This was honestly the most amazing general practitioner's appointment experience I've ever had. Not only was Dr. Sales amazing and kind and thorough and caring, but so was her medical assistant and the rest of the staff at the office. If only ever medical office experience was like the one I had at this office, then going to the doctor would not have been such a scary concept.

Both workers who assisted in my blood getting taken were absolutely wonderful! I have historically really small veins so normally techs struggle to draw blood and have to prick me multiple times on both arms but the ladies at MOM were so great and did it in one go. They were so friendly, calming and welcoming. I wish they could be there anytime I have to get blood drawn

If it were possible to leave a "ZERO" score, I would, They have a friendly staff and the doctor is quite knowledgeable. Kindness and knowledge are not sufficient to cure one's ills. Doctor and staff need to follow through with their recommendations. I need prescription refills and insurance approval for a test. The refill requests have not been sent to pharmacy and medical office has not done their part to secure insurance approval for tests, I visited another group and all was taken care of promptly.

👍👍 Wonderful clinic. Modern, clean and up to date on all equipment. I see my dentist there (Dr Zara), it has been a great experience, I know I'm in good hands. Staff is courteous as well, from reception to security. Kudos!
