What an enjoyable, tasty and educational 3 hour tour! My wife and I had such a great time walking the streets of Greenwich Village. Our guide made personal connections with each guest, asking questions. She told the history of the area and specific eateries and buildings from the Dutch settlement in the 1600s right to today. The history was awesome, the sites and neighborhoods were so nice and full of energy. Of course, the food we experienced was fantastic - ingredients and tastes were incredible. We loved this tour and are looking forward to doing food tours in different neighborhoods when we visit again in the future.

Could not recommend enough! Our guide Marie was vivacious and incredibly knowledgeable. She was conscious of time, diligent about our safety walking, and extremely personable. All 8 stops were incredible and allowed us to try food we definitely would have missed. The tour also includes a coupon book of partners with the company, not just the locations included on your tour.

Had a great time on the Heart and Soul of Greenwich Village Food Tour last weekend. Chip was great. The weather was cold but the food was warm and yummy. Was full at the end and went back to a couple of the stops to shop after. Will definitely catch another tour on a future visit.

A wonderful tour of Chinatown with food at a bunch of delicious spots. Bert was a great guide telling us the history and stories of the restaurants we visited and of the neighborhood!

This tour really gives you a glimpse into the origins of this magical place in NYC. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience come alive. The food was fantastic (and plentiful!! Donโ€™t eat a big breakfast before you come!). Be aware that this tour focuses on the very early time period (late 1700s/1800s) with just a few touches about the 50s-60s. Also, consider bringing a water bottle with you. There were only 2 stops that included any sort of beverage-the first and last.

An excellent tour, particularly for the price point. Food was carefully selected and so so delicious, host was gracious, gregarious, and knowledgeable about the dishes, Chinese/pan-Asian cultures, and the neighborhood. We'd absolutely go again!

What a fabulous foodie way to travel through Chinatown, with our very knowledgeable guide, Bert. Thank you so much for the excellent tips about the neighborhood and the culture: you opened my eyes to a place that was very different than the one I knew from TV and movies. And what yummy food.

Our Greenwich Village food tour was great! Chip was our tour guide. Chip was fun and informative, and was great at taking care of the whole group. Come hungry, they feed you plenty of great food, dessert, and drinks. Empanadas, pizza, pasta, tea, coffee, chocolate. Even though it rained our whole tour, we were able to get covered/indoor seating at each location. There was also a bit of neighborhood and architecture history thrown in, which was very cool even for local New Yorkers.

This is one of my studentsโ€™ fave things to do. It combines food, sights and history. Joe, as a third generation New Yorker, was. DELIGHT! I wish he could be my NYC guide for a week. Taking this tour means you get to skip lines and eat delicious famous food.

Just wrapped up our Hudson Valley food tour with Amy. The tour was fantastic and could not recommend it more. My family has been on all the Foods of NY tours. While they are all excellent, we all think this one was best. The six hours on this tour flew by as each shop/location you visit is very unique and has its own history. Very awesome to hear the history behind each locally/family owned store and, of course, the quality of food and ingredients was top notch. Amy herself could not be more nice and knowledgeable about the local history. She spoke with such a passion and every place we visited felt like an extension of home. Amy mentioned to me that on places selected for the tour she looks at the quality of people, environment and food. On this tour, all were 5/5 stars. Do yourself a favor and book this tour. Such an amazing experience. P.S. youโ€™ll leave plenty full

We were part of the first "post-pandemic" tour of Greenwich Village. It was amazing - fun for any age! Our guide, Robin, was fun, entertaining and a wealth of information. We highly recommend taking this tour if you appreciate good food, family-owned business and the stories behind it all.

Our heart and soul of Greenwich Village tour with Chip was fabulous! Loved the amazing variety of foods from various cultures and Chipโ€™s deep knowledge of history and the area. The amount of food from all the various restaurants and specialty stores was amazing. We enjoyed every delicious bite and look forward to returning to a few of them on a future visit!

I canโ€™t say enough great things about the Nolita and Secrets of Little Italy tour. Our guide Bert was charming, upbeat and full of interesting tidbits about the neighborhood. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I will definitely be trying another tour in the future and highly recommend.

My husband and I did the Heart of Greenwich Village Food Tour with Ryan. What a great experience. Ryan was very personable, knowledgeable, and funny. We recommend him highly. He presented a good balance of talking food and history. Lots of good food and chocolates, and wine/mojitos. Come hungry. We got to meet the other nice tourists as well. Lots of fun and history we would have never known just walking through the neighborhood. We highly recommend it, and would like to take other tours in the future.

Absolutely one of the highlights of our entire trip to NYC. Bert was both extremely knowledgeable and incredibly entertaining throughout our tour of Greenwich Village. Each of the locations we visited provided a good insight into some of the most iconic foods we were anxious to try. Without a doubt, we will return for one of the other tours on any future trips.

We did the Greenwich Village tour and loved it. Robin was an excellent tour guide who kept us entertained and educated the whole time. We let them know my mom has a gluten allergy when booking and the company went above and beyond to make sure she had gluten free options at every stop. We can't wait to return to NY and try another tour!

Bert was our tour guide for the NOLITA tour and we absolutely loved the food, the scenery, the stories and the conversation. Bert is a happy and interesting guy who made everyone feel welcome and he made sure we were all moving at a good pace (not too fast or slow) and having a great time. This is my second food tour with this company and we will definitely do one again anytime we make it to NYC. Thanks for the phenomenal time--it was the highlight of our trip!

We had a great time on our tour with Rick. He was very knowledgeable about the area, very professional and made us feel super comfortable. The food was delicious at every stop and we were full by the end of the tour. We did the Original Greenwich Village tour and especially loved visiting Murrayโ€™s Cheeses and seeing how fresh mozzarella is made. We are already looking forward to trying another tour soon! You wonโ€™t be disappointed. Just make sure to bring comfortable shoes, lots of walking.

This was my 2nd tour with Foods of New York Tours. Bert was our guide for the Little Italy tour. The food was fantastic and our guide (Bert) was even better!! He knew so much history about the Nolita neighborhood and the restaurants. I really enjoyed it. I canโ€™t wait for my next tour, hopefully with Bert!!!

Our family was in NYC for a holiday weekend and took the Original Greenwich Village tour with Bert. Bert and the tour were unanimously the highlight of the weekend!! All of us, ages 15-53 a blast! The food was excellent, and Bert was so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, a really fabulous afternoon. It was a great way to see Greenwich for the first time as well, such a beautiful neighborhood filled with great food. This was our second tour with Foods of NYC and wonโ€™t be our last. Highly recommended as a way to see a part of the city and eat great food with fun guides!

This tour was amazing! We did the Flavors of Chinatown tour with Bert and we loved it. Bert is hilarious and very knowledgeable. We had several locals in the group and they all loved it. Highly recommend to visitors and locals. Super fun and educational. Also, they were able to accommodate a vegetarian and she still got all the same goodies but catered to her without meat or meat products.

This was a great food tour. Robin was our guide and I would say she is the best tour guide I've ever had (food or otherwise). She was so knowledgeable and so funny. She paid attention to all of the guests. She had great stories and great food recommendations. The restaurants were good and the portions were excellent. We did not leave the tour hungry. Nolita is a great little area in NYC. It is packed with restaurants. I would highly recommend going on this tour.

Rick was our tour guide yesterday for the Original Greenwich Village tour and it was so good. The heat and humidity meant it was a sticky day, but Rick's lively commentary and history of the neighborhood was interesting, so it was worth it! It also helped that there were three sit down spots in various restaurants. We cooled off, tried some aguafresca and ate delicious tastes at each spot. I've done several of their tours pre and post pandemic. I'm never disappointed. From the people leading the tours to the people you're on the tour with, you're going to have a good time, eat excellent food, find new restaurants to love, and explore NY.

Fantastic tours. Did 2 tours over a weekend, both with Bert. He's a great guide and only repeated like 1 joke. Food was really good and some finds I'd never manage alone. Plus a bunch of recommendations of other places. Go, take the tour, learn things and leave with a full stomach.

I did the Original Greenwich Village tour with Rick and cannot say enough good things about it. Rick was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing at each and every one of the restaurants. The portions were big enough to get a good taste but small enough to leave you wanting more for the next place. I'm looking forward to booking my next food tour with Foods of NY Tours!

Big thank you to Bert! You are doing great job, Bert! You are very impressive guide with real passion for food. I've been bringing groups to NYC for more than 25 years. Why didn't I include a food tour sooner?? Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time with our tour guide, the energetic and informative Bert James. He brought Greenwich Village to life with his witty historical observations. He was also the perfect host for each of the eateries we visited. We ate artisanal foods, crafted from the best ingredients. Enjoy a food tour to really open up your NYC experience! Let Foods of NY Tours be your guide. They were great to me and my group.

We had the most amazing time on our NY Food Tour (Original Greenwich Village)!! I cannot recommend it enough for people looking to enjoy a fun day in special parts of New York. From the second our tour began, our guide Ted was friendly, witty, and personable. He made a chilly day in NYC feel warm with his energy and excitement! I will be telling friends and family about the Food Tours of NY for weeks to come. What a fun way to learn about the history of Greenwich Village while also enjoying yummy food along the way! Incredible experience!

I booked a NYC Food Tour Greenwich Village for a company outing and Mason was so friendly, accommodating, and efficient with our booking process. Rick, our tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and so hospitable to our group. The tour itself was great since it was a nice number of foodie destinations peppered with historical knowledge. The staff at each location was so well prepared for us, and made the tour seamless and super fun. You can clearly see the community within the neighborhood, which makes the tour itself so special. Would highly rec for any group or just a fun NYC outing for a visitor or local!
