This is a very nice place for relaxing it have an Ice skating rink for all ages just a few ft away. You have to be a resident of Stuytown or Peter Cooper before you can get access. It doesn't matter if you have full season pass, you need to get a ticket/wrist band to skate. The only problem you have to wait in an open air environment, exposed to the element 🥶 for 75 minutes. They have a few heating lantern that doesn't work. Dress warm if you intend to wait for your kids.

I've been to this town multiple times , we do bible study. The Residents of this town are miserable and cold . The old folks are mean and ugly . This is the most unwelcoming place and people I've seen in my life .

Lovely, tranquil place in the city, plenty of kids, friendly dogs and greenery. Flowers are in bloom and they are celebrating their 75th anniversary so there's also some interesting artwork. Also check out Mona's on Ave B off 14th St.

There has been a member of my immediate family living in Stuyvesant town since 1947. We love this place. And all of the improvements are terrific. Love all of the dogs. It's a great place for kids and families to grow up in. It's a great community.

A lovely and cozy area. Good for a stroll. Nicely decorated for the holidays. A small but cute ice skating area that is well used by the neighborhood. The playground area is ample and well taken care of. Along the path you will find decorations and a small but friendly coffee shop.

It was great! If you are not far from this place and you're working as a caregiver...if it's convenient for your patient you can take them there to walk around or talk for 1 hour or more, depending on your schedule. You can take your friend there for a little talk time or Just go by yourself! The choice is yours of course. I used to go there to just sit with my eyes close .

Note that it is private property, although public is not strictly excluded. It is a park like residential area with very present and capable private security.

As a child i was always told go to the oval and hang out because parks were closed after dark and apparently there are 2 benches that are not allowed after dusk being a stuytowner going on 31 years on Christmas Eve

Probably the safest neighborhood in New York City. Wonderful community for quality of life and raising children. Open until 11PM daily.

Fountain is nice but the surrounding oval green gets a bit too crowded. Reminds me of my college days.

Good food and good ambiance. My friends enjoyed the pho, but I got the chicken stir fry and thought it was excellent. Seating indoors is a little scarce and they don't take reservations, so I recommend getting there early.

It's refreshing to walk around the foundation and hear the water whenever I take a walk. The management keeps the Oval park nice and clean. With the lighting effects to the water splashes, the fountain is fun and pretty to look at.

Is it historical monument? mmm..doubtful. A secluded and unexpected gem? 1000%. Typically, this spot is only used by the passing residents in brief, however, in the dog days of summer it's an oasis from the crowds and heat of Manhattan. And when the moon is high & the sky is dim, the fountain's moving colors and refreshing mist are satiating moments to any glance

Nice, enclosed park with a fountain. It's really great for getting away from the noise of the city.
