This park is well maintained and obviously gets a lot of love! It's a nice little quiet spot compared to the rest of New York City, and, unlike some other parks, is very clean. The rangers are helpful and informative, and whoever runs the park changes things up occasionally. Well worth the visit, and it's surrounded by history!

Was very excited to see this place, 53 years after Stonewall Riots. Was very moved, tears came to my eyes and I loved this place to be there and see this lovely little garden around. Thx 🙏

Small park with an impressive history. A few benches to sit and rest in the middle of a vibrant city.

Smaller national monument highlighting historic movement. Near the actual stonewall inn. I tried to use the app and it didn’t work, but it was a cool experience to see. You probably will on spend 10 min tops at the park, but I’m glad it’s here.

This is the most quaint national memorial/park I have ever visited. It four life-size statues: a gay couple & a lesbian couple. It was my number 2 site to visit on my trip to New York city.

The day I went to visit the plaza, that was during the month of June, and specially this year 2019, there was the 50 years commemoration of the Stonewall Inn uprising. The mood was festive despite an strong presence of police while all kind of people- families, young, old, group of students, couples were there taking pictures. I think this plaza is a very distinctive part of NYC that needs to be visited to understand why so many people that feel non welcome in their towns in United States and the world feel they have found their family, their tribe in the few blocks of Greenwhich Village, and they never want to leave.

It was the best!!! I even got to take pictures with, Charles King, and other friends from long ago. World Aids day is a very important day. The fight for positive housing is so needed through out the world. I'm proud to be a part or it. Thank you Delia Morales.

Didn't go inside. However, the outside was exactly as seen on the news and on documentaries. Didn't realize there was a very small govt dedicated park/monument of sorts right across the street too. Pictures on the fence and 2 sets of statues at the park site. Also an App can be used to scan a bar code for more info at the park. Park was nice and shady. Great place to rest your feet. All worth a look if you're into history. This location is historical.

It's a small area, but it was great to visit this historical site - it is. National Monument worth visiting. The gated area across from the Stonewall Bldg location is locked at night. An area with great sites, shops, and eateries nearby.

Fabulous monument and park. The light is always beautiful here. Such a great place to visit to honor those who fought for LGBTQIA+ rights. Usually a few queens are hanging out too which adds to the vibe. :)

Absolutely a must if you’re in the area. It’s very interesting and well maintained. Clean in the surrounding area as well. Very moving and a must visit to support LGBTQ+ community.

QR code wasn’t specific for each photo board, but the site was easy to find, and locals were very friendly. Site was well maintained and clean

What an amazing cultural park. It was much smaller than I thought but worth the trip.

Sweet little park with ample places to sit. Great place to chill with wife. Has neat photos from the riots. AR app was disappointing though.

I’m not sure why but this site was completely chained up and we could not enter at all at 2pm on a Thursday. It’s a small, outdoor space (“Christopher Park”) and would have been lovely to experience but it was closed. The Stonewall Inn is across the street is lovely, however. They request IDs and vaccination cards at the door :)

This place is amazing, I think they should teach more about the Stonewall Riot in schools. I had to look it up on YouTube. I didn't even know why pride month is in June.
