Chris, Mike, Imran and Alfred just completed installing windows and doors in my home and did a fantastic job. We had to live through the work, and they were so clean and organized and finished ahead of schedule-even with 5 straight days of rainy weather. The windows are beautifully installed. Thanks!

High Praises for the Historical Windows of New York installation team ! Foreman Chris and team Mike, Sunil and Alfred are very skilled window installers. Super clean, very careful and professional. They installed 16 windows in my 1890 Brownstone. They were good with communication and the process was smooth!

I had the pleasure of contracting Historical windows and was extremely pleased with the craftsmanship and professionalism of the installers. It should be noted the site Forman Chris along with Alfred and Imran were especially accommodating and efficient with the entire job site. Their attention to detail in ensuring the windows were plum and properly installed meant a lot to me as a homeowner. I would highly recommend these gentleman on any of my job sites.

5+ stars - Spectacular work by Lee, Mike, Tomas and Will. Highly skilled and capable team of craftsmen - hard working, attentive to details, highly specialized - as well as friendly, generous, tidy and kind. They installed custom windows in our historic Tribeca building and the quality of their hard work is world class, top notch. I'd chose them again and again.

Lee and his crew easily handled a complex job of replacing all the windows in our building with ease while also being extremely mindful of keeping the space livable throughout the project. An expert team that’s also extremely friendly and communicative - highly recommend.

My experience with Historical Windows of New York is an absolute 10 out of 10! The workmanship was outstanding! The responsiveness of Carlos was as good as it gets! Equally important, unforeseen circumstances made this project a much more expensive repair and replacement. Historical Windows stood by their contract and didn’t ask for one penny more. For me, this is a company with extraordinary integrity.

I just had 8 windows installed in a Brooklyn brownstone. From sales, to processing all the Landmark approvals, to installation, I received excellent service and expert installation. My installing team, Lee, Mikey and Brandon were amazingly on time, careful and precise in their work, and took care of all the details from install to finishing frames, to sweeping up the garbage everyday. The owner came came in the beginning and end to inspect the work! Also, very conscientious to Covid rules. A terrific experience that I can highly recommended!!!

Choosing Historical Windows for your window and door replacement is like choosing a Bentley for a cross country trip instead of a go-cart. Yes, it will cost more, but the quality of their service and their product is the reason for that. I called every company my coop's architects recommended - seven companies - and Historical Windows stood out as the most knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. They were the only company that offered brick-to-brick installation, where they remove and replace the old existing frames instead of popping new windows into old frames - hence the price difference - because you end up with a much better product/result. Foreman Chris and his workers, Mike, Sunil and Carlos were so respectful of my apartment. They prepped for a whole day to protect it (heavy plastic on the building's carpeted stairs, covered my wood floors, wrapped everything in plastic, built an entire floor-to-ceiling plastic wall to contain the mess) and cleaned everything when the job was complete. And, most importantly, I'm so happy with my windows and my terrace door!

Chris, Mike, Sunil and Christian did a fabulous job replacing our windows. They were on time each morning, treated our home as if it were their own and worked meticulously and efficiently. We are really satisfied with the result. Can't recommend them enough!

We had all of the windows replaced in our prewar apartment. The windows were all custom sizes in and various conditions. Historical Windows did a great job not only helping to chose replacements by providing descriptions and answering questions, but also by mitigating the issues inherent in buildings that are over 100 years old with measurement visits and onsite inspections. The installation crew was very professional during install, and were respectful of our apartment and of the fact that we had to live in it for the couple of weeks it would take to rip and replace. Foreman Lee kept in touch at the end of every work day to update us on progress made, problems and solutions found, and schedules for the next day. He was incredibly responsive and professional. Would definitely recommend them for the tricky job of swapping in new windows into old architecture.

Historic Windows did an excellent job on our windows. Chris, the foreman, and his team—Mike, Alfred and Sunil—were incredibly conscientious. Our building is landmarked and they very carefully and completely used protection that was thoroughly and effective. We had absolutely no damage and they did a great job with cleanup. The windows were installed very smoothly, on schedule, and just as promised. We can’t recommend Historical Windows and Chris, Mike, Alfred and Sunil highly enough. Top notch

We just had windows installed by Historical Windows of New York. Our experience was positive from start with our sales representative Augustin to completed installation with Luis (our foreman) and his team of installers. We were kept informed as the staff at Historical Windows worked through the complicated Landmark process and our building staff to get the approval needed. We were kept informed of the progress by Rebecca, Architectural Sales Manager, and Janine who coordinated installation and delivery of our windows. We couldn't be happier with the quality and look of our new windows. Thank you Historical Windows for a job well done!

I finally got my project completed earlier this month. Of course, COVID delays happened which is no fault of the business. They were clean and organized installing my windows. Additionally, the owner came by to see the work and answer any questions. I also had an issue operating the pull in (out) feature and they were happy to come back to remedy it and explain to me how to operate it properly. My previous issues seemed to be related to a disorganized sales rep. I get it, it happens. The work was done properly and I'm happy with my new windows. ###Update Sept. 2020# I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I'm currently working with Historical Windows of New York on replacing 3 landmarked windows. They had pretty much done the same work to another unit in my building. That said, this is not a unique or difficult job. Their pre-sales pitch was consistent, they followed up, answered questions and etc. That all changed once the contract and checks where handed over. Complete radio silence. I gave them deposits on Friday Oct 11th. It's now November 11th over a month and I have not heard a single update nor have I seen the drawings I was promised by the sales rep Augustin. Furthermore, It's impossible to reach anyone by phone (they have no receptionist). I've called multiple times, emailed multiple times. On the occasion a did get a response, it was vague and a "update coming soon". Having just done a complete renovation of a 3 bedroom home, I know how long it take to do drawings. 3 simple windows, should not take over 4 weeks (and also considering they already did the SAME job to another unit in the building) I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I will update this review should there be any change in the project

Historical Windows of New York, Inc. had the best selection and service of any place we looked. One of the only places to get Andersen in the area. Sevan was knowledgeable, responsive, and proactive in ensuring we were satisfied. Couldn't be happier!

Unreliable, slow, expensive and poor quality. My overall experience was, frankly, terrible. The windows they installed leak during certain rain storms and of course, once the final payment was made, the owner stopped responding to text messages, emails and phone calls. These windows were sold to us by a representative of Historical Windows. He was called in to address issues with those windows which were installed by another company and the work was subpar. Historical Windows was paid in full, yet refuses to address our concerns about their work.

If I could give 10 stars I would! HWNY helped me decide whether to restore or replace the 90-year old leaded glass windows in my Tudor home. Andrew helped us choose beautiful Marvin replacement windows that would match our home and maintain the architectural integrity. Luis and his installation team were the utmost professionals always observing Covid protocols. They were meticulous in protecting every surface in my home before starting the work and cleaning up after they were done. The job wasn’t easy as the team had to extract the windows from stucco without disturbing the stucco. I would highly recommend HWNY to anyone who needs to restore or replace their windows and wants the job done with the highest levels of care and quality!

The window installation crew with the team leader Lee and his crew Mike and Tomas did a fantastic job of installing over 20 windows at my brownstone building last month. They are courteous, work efficiently with an attitude to work with all parties involved and ensured safety procedures in place. Before closing up the work each day, they cleaned the working place before leaving. That made the place livable during the installation period. Overall, I will give the crew a five star rating.

Historical Windows did an amazing job of replacing 30+ windows in our 1910 Arts and Craft home. Lee was the foreman and his crew was discreet and efficient having minimal impact on our day to day. Lee was quick to respond or give an update, always with a smile! Lee made sure that the job finished on time, which in itself is fantastic, but throughout the process made sure that we were happy. Can’t recommend this company enough! Look at how beautiful the windows look.

Don't be too quick to go into "sticker shock." Having seen how thorough and professional their work is, I think their prices are reasonable. In our building they removed all old windows down to the masonry, applied sealants, precisely rebuilt supporting frames and well-insulated all voids. From putting down protective coverings to finishing touches and clean up the crews are courteous, responsive and highly skilled. Foremen Lee and Tomas know old buildings and manage their people effectively. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Lee and his installation crew were terrific! Very experienced, careful and professional, always on time, super responsive, going above and beyond to accommodate me whenever possible. Lee is also a great communicator, keeping me apprised of work progress and next steps, as well as the details of the installation. Highly recommend!

Thorough, careful service; excellent workmen who did a great installation and clean-up job. Carlos, project manger, went the extra mile for us in many ways. The new windows are keeping us warm this winter!
