B&B Couture really is a gem in NYC! Both times I’ve shopped there, I didn’t have an appointment, but I called and was warmly invited to come right it. Blair and Eva treated me like royalty and guided me into dozens of gorgeous gowns. B&B Couture has curated the best styles from a wide variety of designers, some I’d never heard of, despite being a gown connoisseur. I’ve shopped many different stores, in person and on line, but never have I had the selection of winning dresses as I did here. Every dress was special and I left with armfuls of gowns for every occasion. Thanks to B&B Couture I’m the best dressed pageant girl I know. Thank you! I can’t wait until my next visit to your store.

Fortunately, it seems most shoppers decide to bring people with them (and you're required to if you're under 18/a prom shopper) but if you were considering shopping by your adult self for another event, my best advice is: don't. I felt wildly uncomfortable. I was pointed in the direction of my sized dresses but that's all. No other help offered. Also there are no pictures allowed????? But you can facetime? Is this a normal/common thing that I just wasn't aware of? Naturally, I asked why because I was curious and got an unhelpful response: "lots of reasons." Every dress boutique I've been in before has had staff who helped me pick out dresses, zip up dresses, and even offered to take pictures for me. So I left. I don't usually leave reviews, but wanted to make sure other people are made aware of this. 3/5 because they do have a nice dress collection - the atmosphere just really turned me off. I don't know how you could possibly feel good in a dress if you don't feel good in the store.

B&B Couture is an absolute hidden gem in Manhattan! They have the most exquisite gowns and dresses for every occasion. Seriously, I fell in love with this store and the dresses from the moment I walked in. Their gowns make you feel like you're walking the red carpet at the Emmys! What's even better about this place is the staff. Blair, the owner, was not only knowledgeable of what he had in stock but was also so lovely to work with on finding my perfect dress. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! I’m from out of town, and stopped by here on a whim looking for a reception dress for my wedding. The staff was so accommodating - Blair and Angelica were so friendly and welcoming. After looking for a dress for weeks, Angelica managed to find me the PERFECT dress within minutes. Beautiful selection, very reasonable prices for dresses that look very high end, and an exceptional experience overall. Absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend this store to anyone who needs a special occasion outfit!

I was starting to stress out about finding the right dress for a black tie event I'll be attending. And I wasn't sure B&B would be any better. Would it be all illusion mesh and slit-up-to-there prom dresses? (Not that there's anything wrong with that- but it's not remotely what my event calls for.) However! They actually have a wide range of dresses and I found exactly what I needed. I left with something utterly glamorous and very flattering. Seriously - I tried on a couple of dresses that made me look possibly better than I've ever looked before. My only regret is that I had to leave a red ball gown behind - it was actually too fabulous for where I'll be going. As an aside, I did not see any couture while I was there. Maybe they carry some, I don't know. What I needed and what I got was well-designed, well-constructed ready-to-wear, It's not cheap, but the prices are very fair for what you're getting. I had plenty of choices in the $400-$600 range (but don't forget you'll need to budget for hemming unless you're exceptionally tall or have the skills and nerve to do it yourself).

Drove into NYC from Pennsylvania to give my daughter a City Boutique Experience for Prom shopping… let’s just say THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT :) we had the best customer service, one would say it felt like having a fairy god mother 🥰

The team helped me narrow down the most beautiful blue dress for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour and am so appreciative for their attention to detail in fitting me and assisting with finding the perfect Sherri Hill style for me. I was a pageant girl and I wish I had known about B&B sooner because they truly are your dress fairy god mother 🧚 I was Miss Universe Albania 2019 and competed in Miss Universe in 2019. I was brand new to the pageant scene and had no clue where to even start looking for dresses. When I met Blair it felt like all my fashion prayers were answered. He was not only so professional and clearly well versed in fashion and pageantry giving me wonderful advice on what I would need, but also so kind and caring and I could tell he truly cared when helping me! I needed two dresses for black tie weddings this past summer. I came in after work and the woman running the store was SO HELPFUL! We went through a ton of gowns and she helped me pick the two perfect ones! I highly recommend!

I flew to NYC for B&B Couture! (They saved my pageant!!!) I went to B&B Couture with a last-minute SOS for a Miss USA state pageant gown, and let me tell you, they came through like superheroes! I decided to change my gown last minute and reached out to Blair. he sent me photos of options and I flew to NYC. The boutique has an AMAZING selection even for a super last-minute situation. I felt so confident and beautiful on stage and I’m so thankful to Blair and the whole B&B Couture team for their help. Thanks again B&B Couture!!! P.s. You have to make an appointment for the boutique. The boutique is located in a multi-business building. Once you get there you have to take the elevator to the 5th floor, which is the boutique.

The selection of gowns and cocktail dresses is second to none. One dress is more exquisite than the next. The selection isn’t the same basic gowns you see everywhere else, these gowns are memorable and statement making. The staff was friendly and helpful. They let us take our time making sure our daughter found a gown she loved. They didn’t try to to rush her to make a decision and were truly happy when she found the dress she loved.

I had the most incredible experience here. The appointment was personalized for me, and the stylists/owner I worked with helped me find two dresses for a black tie wedding and a gala. I left feeling elated with my purchases, but also about myself and my body in these dresses. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down - this is the best store to shop for gorgeous evening gowns! The selection of dresses is incredible: they have a lot of amazing fashion designers and so many gorgeous styles from cocktail dresses to evening gowns decorated with Swarovski crystals and ostrich feathers. I absolutely love coming here - my go to place when I need a special occasion dress! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience prom shopping. Blair was very helpful and we found the perfect dress. He and his colleague were so patient, which is required with teenage shoppers, and very kind. We did not feel uncomfortable or pressured into buying anything. My daughter found a dress that was unique and great for her.

The moment I walked in I need this would be the place. I immediately felt at ease with the help of Blair & Eva. They made me feel at home and relieved because I needed a dress for a wedding a few days before. Very last minute but I had a horrible experience purchasing a dress online overseas. They took my money and delivered a completely different dress from what I had ordered. NO RESPONSE!!!!!! So with decent budget I managed to walk out with a dress no one would have in less than an hour!!! LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!! Unbelievable! This place is truly a gem in NEW YORK CITY.
