The best souvenir shop in New York! The owner is very nice and friendly. His staff is courteous and helpful. They have a variety of souvenirs and gifts to buy for your loved ones. The prices are reasonable and way cheaper than buying at those expensive gift shops of places you tour. If you are looking for quality gifts this is the best souvenir shop to visit! This place is fantastic. 10/10 experience. The shop is large and filled with countless trinkets, all in excellent condition and fairly priced. The owner, Albert, is a wonderful man. So friendly and kindhearted. He gives out free, cold bottles of water to customers and throws in a ton of free stuff as you pay. He has owned the store for 35 years. Truly a delight and a treasure. There are tons of souvenir shops in NYC to choose from. This is by far the best!

This place is the bees neez! Albert, the owner, has been in the business for 35 years and he is as sweet as pie! I got the recommendation of Google on my first trip to NYC. And it was the best choice I could have ever made. Although small, MONY features a wide variety of souvenirs to meet every tourist need. This shop features a clearance section for budget shoppers like me. There are kids shirts 3 for 10$ and adult t-shirts starting at 5$. He also gave away a free souvenir pen with every purchase. But even more than that, he gave my 8 year old daughter a bunch of free souvenir items to take home (a calendar, stickers, snow globe, crayon box, etc). He was incredibly grateful for our patronage something that's kinda of rare for the New York scene. Albert is awesome! Definitely go check him out if you're in the area!!!!

Memories of New York, or I would say MoNY is one beautiful, amazing place. It is a souvenir (and more) store, owned by one extremly nice gentleman called Halper. You will find best souvenirs of NY here, but also the t shirts, hoodies, magnets, postcards, etc etc... Store is positioned at very very hot location, between 5th ave and Brodway, just across the Flatiron building. Visit them, and buy there, you can thank me later 😁😉

Wonderful experience! We will travel specifically to this store on each subsequent trip to NYC. The shop owner was extremely kind and generous. The selection was great, and the quality of the gifts was above most of the other souvenir shops we have encountered in the city. Stop by if you're in the area, or even if you're not!

Oh my gosh the cashier/owner is such a sweet heart. He's so kind and nice. He said this business has been here for over 30 years. Every other I heart NYC stores don't have the stuff this store has. Wow. I crossed all the city to come to this souvenir shop, and it was the best decision ever. The owner is a sweet old man, who loves to discuss with people, and who tries to make their day better. I was truly blessed to meet someone like him. I felt really welcome in his shop, and it was a pleasure to me to buy things here. We were both wearing a mask, but I still could see his smile through his eyes. He also offered me two items, I'm very grateful for that. God bless you !

I don't usually review souvenir shops, but this is definitely worth a stop. The owner is the absolute best: kind, patient and gentle, the opposite of the usual souvenir-shop-owner. Despite being a very popular place, the prices are way lower compared to the other stores and the item selection is very good. You won't be disappointed!

I didn’t think I would ever review a souvenir shop but this one is so worth it. Absolute 5 stars, mainly for the owner who was so kind and friendly, made the experience brilliant. We visited twice, came back on our last day when the temperature was really hot and the wonder kindly offered us to stay in for a bit to take advantage of the AC and get some refreshments before heading to the airport. There is no scamming here unlike most souvenir places selling items at extortionate prices. Prices are more than reasonable and great selection, a lot of items I didn’t see in other souvenir shops. Really highly recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for to remember our time in NY! This place literally had it all! The only negative I have is I felt very obviously followed by a woman working there. I had no bag/purse and nothing baggy on but it felt as though she was assuming I was a thief. It was offensive and rude. The man who checked us out was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping by! Learn to trust your customers or go to an online model. Making people feel harassed and untrusted isn't it!

All I can say is this is HANDS DOWN one of my favorite stops on our vacation. The gentleman who runs this amazing jewel is sweet and kind. He goes out of his way to make all who enter in feel right at home! All souvenirs are a fair affordable price. If you're visiting or new to New York, give him a visit. The most amazing place to buy souvenirs in New York! We've been here to buy some souvenirs to take home. The store is full of every kind of item one could image. But, most importantly, the owner was super sweet, nice, and extremely polite!! He also gave us some souvenirs and stickers for free! He was so so kind with us! Very well stocked and fair prices. The owner and his staff were very friendly. It's very clear that the owner loves people and interacting with the public from around the world. A much more personal experience than you would experience at a souvenir shop on Times Square and the like. It also seems that this shop is family owned rather than owned by some higher conglomerate. Was very happy to support their business today.

Best souvenir store in NYC hands down!!! Selection is amazing, location great and prices are fair. But the highlight here is most definitely the owner. He is so kind, grateful and attentive. Awesome store!! We had a very good experience there :) The owner was very friendly and nice and the store has very reasonably priced items with a wide selection from smaller things like pens to more expensive artwork, shirts, figurines! Everything is about average pricing in a good way- 10$ for t shirts, and towels, more $ for sweaters and jackets and miniature replicas of the city, less than 10$ for other small figures, change purses, pens, etc. You’ll have a good time here :)

We have been there for the first time this morning and I was amazed by how polite and welcoming the staff was. They also gave us an additional pen, key chain and postal card as an additional free gift, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend.

I have never left a review before but this shop is worth the shout out. Souvenirs are much more unique compared to other souvenirs stores and are up to half the price compared to other shops.This however doesn’t compare to the kindness of the staff who offered their help and services whenever we asked and the owner himself is probably the sweetest, most generous man in New York, you’ll never meet a kinder shop owner. I read previous reviews before going to NYC and made the decision to go there if I could. I can very much say that the place and it’s lovely staff live up to all these wonderful reviews. So, I went to this place based on all the amazing reviews listed here. They are all accurate (I can't speak to the few negatives that said the owner scammed them. I have my doubts that it was done intentionally). I want to echo all the great reviews about the owner Alper. A kind, wonderful man who shared some of his story with me. He was so happy to hear there were good reviews of his store. The selection is large and varied and the prices are reasonable. Get all your souvenirs here! Start up a conversation with him and you will come away uplifted by his warmth and generosity!!

We visited the Memories of New York shop on our last day in Manhattan. It has a huge selection of shirts and souvenirs. We saw more variety than the other shops we visited and the staff were helpful. Just like the other reviews have stated, what makes this shop special is the owner. He's so friendly and generous you can't help feeling good when you leave. We came away with souvenirs and a great memory of our visit there. We absolutely recommend this shop to others!

While in the area I googled cheapest gift shop and this place had great reviews. Towards the back of the store was NY t-shirts 3 for $20 and other items less than $5. Upon checking out the owner was very generous in giving my daughter and I several items for free. He was very pleasant and warm.
