For a fast food neighborhood place, I give shake shack 5 stars. They make great burgers and shakes. They have patio seating off to the side. I'm a returning customer to this Shake Shack on 154 86th New York City

Hey there. After an exhausting walk following a visit at the AMNH good place to rest and where to have a bite. For me the Shack Burger tastes better here in NYC than anywhere else. Perhaps I am influenced by the fact that the brand started in this city 😎.

Shake shack serves a solid smash burger. The smoke shack and the shack burger are both good choices. If you’re looking for more flavor, get the smoke shack. Otherwise, the shack burger is your classic BLT cheeseburger. The cookies n cream shake is delicious! Fries are average. This location has tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Fast service!

Ah, beloved Shake Shack. A staple made popular. Their fries are not something you can find anywhere else! The customer service was amazing from the associate at the register to the associate making sure the establishment was tidy-he was even singing! Super cute. The actual atmosphere of this location is huge! They have an outdoor section and the inside has a massive ceiling to give a more open vibe. Would i come back to this specific location? Absolutely. Would i suggest it? 110%

This particular Shake Shack location regularly has issues with quality, accuracy of orders and timeliness. In our most recent visit, they delivered the wrong order; we ordered a two bourbon bacon burgers (one single, one double), and instead received two plain single cheeseburgers. The restaurant took an unconscionably long time to prepare the order for a fast food joint on a late weekday night. To add insult to injury, the burgers were dry and cold.

I enjoy the consistency in which S.S. Serves food. It looks good, taste good, and it’s all good. Solid across the board. A double smoke shack is crack. Smashed burger galore. You can’t go wrong with S.S. Although, I will say I like Smash Burger the best.

Hands down one of the best chicken burgers ever. You taste quality food despite the small size and big price. Fries are real potatoes, super yummy. Staff are friendly. Very crowded in the evenings.

Smells delicious as I get nearby. Staff is right there welcoming you in and keeping things in order which was nice. She’s taking to go orders or you may choose to dine in. Service was good. I really like the burgers here. Tried out their summer pina punch with hot honey chicken bites and some cheese fries. The punch was ok. The chicken was hot and crispy. Wasn’t as spicy as I was thought and you can definitely taste the honey.

I’ve visited this Shake Shack location numerous times. Before you can enter to place your order, a representative is at the door to take your temperature. Sometimes you are able to place your order and pay at the door with a representative so all to do is wait for your order. They serve burgers, fries, chicken, hotdogs, milkshakes, frozen custards, beer, wine, etc. I wish they would add sauerkraut to their menu to go along with the hotdogs. I feel like this location is a hit or miss, they have their good days where your order is perfect and others where you just shake your head. I always asked them to make sure my burger is extra well as I can’t stand the smell or taste of raw meat. There’s been several times I bit into my burger and it wasn’t well done. There are stickers on the floor to allow the customers to be able to social distance while waiting for their order. There are tables and chair located inside and outside of the restaurant for customers to use however be mindful limited seating due to COVID. There are also restrooms located at this location. They accept cash or card and the staff are very hospitable.

Great burgers and shakes, lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor and nice staff. We had the chicken shack and the shack stack (cheeseburger and shroom burger patties) and both were pretty good. The Chicken shack while more expensive than McDonald's felt more tasty to me, but Chick-fil-A chicken burger is slightly better. We also had the black and white shake which was quite good and they allowed us to split it into two cups to share it.

There is only one woman fulfilling the online orders late at night with 20+ drivers waiting and ready to pick up the orders. Moreover, when you ask her for help, she’d give you attitude. I then, asked another employee for help and they didn't want to help me because they weren't doing the online orders. Come on Shake Shake. Do better; be better.

Yummy!! Quick and great service! Friendly staff too. Our group had the Smoke shack burgers, chicken bites, Chicken shack sandwich and Oreo shakes and triple chocolate shake - all delicious! Not too expensive either!

Took our grandson for yummy burgers and shakes Friday evening. Next day can’t find my purse and realize I left it at Shake Shack. Without a lot of hope, I returned and to my great relief they had found it, saved it completely in intact, and I was thrilled and impressed. Not only great food but a dependable and honest staff. THANKS!

While running around today with some friends whom were here for my sons fabulous wedding we decided to give Shake shack a try... It was Fantastic, Fabulous Tasty. Are up everything so fast. Haven't had this burger in awhile still very good.

Came here for lunch alone. The food was very good, the cheesy fries were to die for. However, the staff weren’t all that friendly, I asked about the iced tea flavours as there was a board where it stated something about additional flavours, and the girl looked at me in a judgy way and said “it’s just normal iced tea”unless you order 50/50” - to which I asked back 50/50? And she just looked at me judgy again and said yeah and rolled her eyes? Anyway, I decided to go for the “normal iced tea” and it wasn’t good. The burger and fries were delicious though…

Horrible service, cashiers arguing with coustumers, having a conversation between them not taking care of the coustumers. They even got muy order wrong and when I try to tell her she rolled her ayes and ignore me. Is there any manager? The food could be good but the coustumer service is horrible. The ticket dint even has the name of the cashier but anyway both of then were arguing with costumers, I really hope this review help you to improve your service.

Love these burgers! They are small, but tasty. The fries are fresh and one of the best I've had. Our go to is the Chicken Shack and the double Shack. The outdoor area is nice with the birds pottering about. Bit of fresh air while you eat. Will definitely be back. It is definitely better that the UK version.

Great for a burger, vegan options are available (shroom burger is delicious). You will be waiting for about 10 mins but the wait is worth it. Took the menu pictures in a rush, apologies

Slow, but very good covid protocol making sure everyone has a mask on. Also draining the grease while customers can see is unappetizing

Perfect place for a hot cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Friendly staff and fast service makes Shake Shack an amazing place to grab a quick bite. Smash burgers were flavorful and piping hot with melty cheese. The chicken sandwich was also blistering hot in a good way and the sauce and pickles were the best combination for this sandwich. There's some seating indoors and a bit of an outdoor area for seating as well. Hot cheeseburgers in the winter never tasted better!

Simply delicious! First time dining at Shake Shack and this experience did not disappoint. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of patty which was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Cheese fries was also a hit and we washed it all down with a chocolate shake. Yum! On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Thank you!

busy so i get it but i ordered a shake and didn’t get it. they made it when i asked. they put mayo on my burger that i modified so it could be vegan. just sucks i had to ask twice. i ordered online and am sure i ordered the burger vegan and the shake. makes me sad.

I ate inside having order the shrooms, the fries and the lemonade and they were pretty good. The shrooms is a vegetarian dish made with mushrooms and filled with cheese. The local kept things clean and tidy and sanitize the tables when eating there. Great place and they follow social distancing as well.

They follow covid protocols. The food was in a timely manner. Honestly for a packed night of orders. I wasn't waiting so long. The food was great and I honestly enjoyed it

The person that took my order was pleasant however I asked for my 2 burgers to be well done. I got home to only to bite into a raw burger. It was so upsetting my appetite and dinner completely ruined. Completely unacceptable.

I was shocked how fast I got my food only to the find out when I got home it was raw After the first bite something tasted off and chewy so I looked I thought it was just one spot so I picked out some but its the whole thing. I’m laughing hysterically because how!? It’s frustrating when you spend over $40 dollars for your food for someone to not cook it right.
