HALAL. Food was given is large portions and honestly, if I lived in NY, I would just eat here all day. Very generous on the portions and flavorful. Food came fresh. I could barely finish my platter and I promise you, I was really trying to fit as much as I could. I didn’t want any of it to go to waste! Great for dates and family gatherings. Had to get a whole side plate or Arabic pickles and olives as well as their yogurt sauce of course.

Dined-in for the second time last night and the experience was even better than our initial visit. We’ve decided to get some appetizers this tune, and settled on the hummus. 10 out of 10! Just perfect! So fresh and tasty and the tomato/red onion on top was a great touch. The two complimentary sauces (green and white) were tastier than the first time; so was the bread. We ordered salmon kabobs instead of chicken this time and it was delicious and juicy. We also got two different rices: cherry (out of this world!) and dilled (I didn’t care for it much). The second main dish we got was the beef kabob and it was just as perfect as the first time. And so was the Mediterranean salad. We took half the food home as portions are huge.

We stopped by to have lunch with the family. We loved the food, it was full of flavours, my kids loved it, the portions are big. I ended up packing the rest for takeout as i couldnt finish it all. The meat, the salad, their variety of flavoured rice i tried, are all great and we enjoyed it very much.

We finished our NYC trip with dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Perfect decor for date night. Food was delicious. Persian martini was very unique rose flavored martini- it’s refreshing! Turkish coffee is good too.

Great vibe and AUTHENTIC Persian! My whole family is Persian and the koobideh kabobs are so yummy! Love the Persian cocktail but it’s VERY rosy! So only order if you like that flavor!!rice is amazing and so is the Mediterranean salad. This place is the best for that authentic Persian food! A staple when I come to NYC!!

I ordered Koobideh and the Mediterranean salad. Both were delicious and had generous portions. If you are vegetarian you could just have that salad which of course has cheese on the top. I think it was goat cheese. I liked the ambiance. Not noisy. Good for solo eaters or go there with your friends.

This is a top notch Persian cuisine with high quality kebabs, rich stews, and fantastic rice dishes. Highly recommend the Albaloo Polo rice as well as the Zereshk Polo which are both traditional. Baklava is homemade and of high quality.

I recently visited this restaurant, and I would like to share my impressions. The food was absolutely amazing, and I enjoyed every dish. The service was fairly quick, and the waitstaff were attentive. However, I was somewhat disappointed that we were seated at a very small table. I literally couldn't move without risking knocking over plates. I spent the entire evening in an uncomfortable position due to the limited space on the table. It was odd that nobody offered to move us to a more spacious table, especially considering that other tables were available. Overall, although the food was excellent, the uncomfortable seating arrangement diminished my overall assessment of the restaurant visit. As you can see in the photo, there is truly no space on the table, and the plates are placed at the edge.

Lamb Shank is very delicious and well prepared. The food portions are more than enough to make sure you walk away full and happy 😊 😃 😀 Very Tasty appetizers and the menu selections are perfect. Lots to choose from. Great experience and very polite and friendly staff. 😎😎😎 Must give this place a try next time you're in New York. Awesome atmosphere, the wait time was perfect and not too long. 👏

Food 4⭐️, dessert 5⭐️, services 4.5⭐️. I had a great time celebrating my friend’s birthday, thanks for their help, so 5 eventually. ✨Tbh if I’m going back again, I’m definitely going back just for dessert. The saffron ice cream was my VIP that night. Never seen at other places, and it went so well with their warm baklava which was also outstanding. The main dishes were ok. Still delicious but nothing really special. The lamb was also kinda dried too. Regarding the services, my friend and I felt some servers were not proactively communicating. They always tried to end the conversation which made us felt uncomfortable. But eventually we found out that they were not that fluent in English, then we understood. I believe they could spend some time practice a little bit more!

Went to this place for dinner on a Saturday. The place got good ambience and atmosphere. I ordered lamb Shish kabab and khoresh Fesenjan. All the food came in order and served at right temperature. The kabab was juicy and tinder. However the khoresh fesenjan tasted sweet and did not feel a good item for lunch. Service was fair nothing to complain.

Very nice Persian/Middle Eastern restaurant. Food was very good. Ambience is ok, clean and chill. Not much of a distinct ambience but a solid space. The grills stood out to me more than the sauces but that may be a matter of preference or taste. Service was a little cold but still efficient and respectful. All in all a very good experience.

Ravagh was a fantastic experience in New York City. Located in the heart of Manhattan near the Empire State Building, as soon as you open the door, the aroma of the food takes you back home. They offer a great variety, and though the food is a bit expensive, it's completely worth it. The traditional music added to the ambiance, creating a delightful harmony and play with your soul. I enjoyed it so much that I went twice in three days. Don't forget AB ALI DOUGH!

Authentic delicious Persian food! An upscale restaurant with freshly prepared food. The shish chicken, kabob berg, and the koobideh were juicy and was the best way to end our day in the city. The green sauce and yogurt with their fresh, soft bread was the best I’ve eaten. Highly recommend!

This place has great lunch deals! Portions are massive and the chicken is so incredibly juicy. The restaurant decor is also very beautiful and elegant. Highly recommend!

Place is really good. Only reason for 4 stars they use Tabasco for hot sauce! Otherwise the kebobs were excellent and the rice is delicious. Would very much recommend this place

Two stars only for our server, she was really nice. Everything else was let down. Food was nothing special, some of the dishes were pretty bad actually. The chicken kebab had good flavours but it was charred to death. Stews were watery and faloodeh was disappointing. Wait times can be long so wouldn’t recommend.

Great service and impeccable food! I feel like the quality has gotten better over the years. They serve complimentary freshly baked bread, and their meat is very tender, flavorful, and juicy. 10/10 recommend. A great spot in the city for a good occasion !

We drove 45 minutes and had an hour wait but we would GLADY do it all over again to dine here. The food was immaculate, the portions are generous and the staff was quick on their feet. Don't sleep on this place! It's worth it no matter how long the wait!

If it's been a long time since you've had Persian food, this place is an absolute must-visit! However, for those familiar with the nuanced flavors of Persian kababs, It falls slightly short of complete satisfaction. However, my friends were happy with the other items on the menu. Overall, it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very good quality all around. Prices were reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, Musa the manager makes every visit a true pleasure. In spite of the place being so crowded he made sure we had our tables in a short amount of time! Me and my friends were so impressed with our dinner at Ravagh! Great menu, excellent service! I tried the Sultani kebab and my friend had a lamb Shank. We both finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. I will definitely be back!” – DEE ❤️❤️👍👍

While visiting New York, we decided to find a Persian restaurant and came across this place and boy, am I glad we did!! The ambiance was very pleasant and relaxed, they had Persian songs playing in the background, and the waiter constantly checked in to see if we needed anything. The food was AMAZING! It was 2 of us and we ordered the lentil soup, the ash e reshe, the koobideh and the joojeh kabob. At first I thought it was too much food for 2, but the plates were empty once we were done!! Everything was beyond tasty. If you are a tourist and walk a lot, like we did, you will sure work up an appetite to order more than one dish!! Highly highly recommended!

When I rate a restaurant right after I finish my meal then it's either amazingly good or terribly distasteful. Ravagh belongs to the first group. The finest Persian restaurant I have ever been. I loved the Sultani. And their lentil soup is just amazing. Hypothetically speaking, if prisons serve the same soup I bet you that prisons will be overloaded with innocents, and they will be satisfied! 5 stars plus my Fox 🦊 seal of approval!

With this location in close proximity to the Empire State Building and Herald Square, this place has a geographical advantage. It's a good idea to come in for lunch if possible as I was able to get a free soup with my entree. I had the Persian Red Lentil soup followed by the Khoresh Fesenjan. If I had to describe Persian cuisine it's a cross of Mediterranean and South Asian cuisine. It's as intriguing as it was delicious.

We tried Albaloo poli, Fesenjoon , Koobideh and Barg. WE LOVED IT! It is worth every cent you pay. the only tiny complaint i have is that Dolmeh was too pricey as an appetizer! They serve it like 4 super small pieces.

Excellent service and courteous staff. It did not get too busy. Great bar seating area. Comfortable chairs, very clean inside, and well put together. The beef kabob was extremely filling and the free bread they give you is toasty, delicious, and well baked. Rice was delicious with the kabob. Will definitely come again when craving Persian food. Great date spot, with friends, or for business.

Loved this place. We went because our friend highly recommended the place. We loved it so much, we ended up ordering delivery from here like a few days later because we couldn’t stop thinking about the food. The waiter was so genuine and friendly too. I remember our waiter was so friendly and genuine.

The BEST Persian food in the city!!! ❤️❤️❤️Returned here after my Persian friend brought me here the first time, and it only gets better!! The bread was served hot, the Bronzino was the best grilled fish I had in the city, and the ice-cream in the end was most lovely. Best of all- great great hospitality, thank you so much Moises and Victoria!! Will definitely come back and bring more friends to try the other dish 🤤

Ravagh Persian Grill is my favorite cousin in whole NYC . I’m so speechless to describe how amazing and delicious all foods. The atmosphere is so warm and hospitable. Specially the manager Mr. Moises is so professional and taking care of everything in that place. Biggest respect to everyone who works in that place starting with owners. They know how to take care their customers and the business. I highly recommend Persian Grill Cousin to anyone who lives or visiting NYC. You would never regret.
