"I've been a patient of this location for more than five years, consistently receiving satisfactory service during numerous visits. Unfortunately, my recent experience compels me to share a comprehensive account of what transpired during my visit, as it was disheartening and unacceptable. Despite arriving promptly at 8:45 am for my scheduled 9 am appointment, I was met with an unsettling scene. A fellow patient, a man without an appointment, was waiting outside until doors open . the situation quickly escalated when a woman with her children emerged from her car, demanding to be seen first. To my dismay, she not only refused my offer to let her go ahead but also directed racial remarks specifically at me. What disturbed me even more was the lack of intervention from the front desk staff. Their failure to address the disruptive behavior and discriminatory remarks created a hostile environment for me and other patients present. It left me questioning the commitment of the facility to ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for everyone. As the staff proceeded to check in patients, I observed a notable lack of management in handling the situation. Despite my confidence in my scheduled appointment and standing as the second person in line, individuals without appointments were inexplicably called ahead of me. When I approached the front desk seeking clarification on the delay, my concerns were dismissively brushed aside, leaving me confused and frustrated. The situation reached its zenith when Dr. Verenisse Torres addressed me with an attitude in front of the waiting room. This public confrontation was not only embarrassing but also contributed to a sense of unwelcome discomfort. Contrastingly, the male doctor who ultimately attended to me displayed professionalism and consideration, standing in stark contrast to the front desk staff. Seeking resolution and clarification, I attempted to inquire about the office manager. Regrettably, my efforts were met with consistent disregard from the front desk staff. When I approached a different staff member, I was met with reluctance and uncooperative responses, with the excuse that the individual in question was new. It is essential to emphasize that being new is not an acceptable excuse for ignoring a patient with concerns about their health. This detailed and distressing account underscores the urgent need for substantive improvements in customer service, staff training, and effective communication within the facility. It is my sincere hope that this feedback contributes to instigating positive changes, fostering a more inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patients." Mauro Verdugo.

Very frustrated with my experience here. The PA that treated me listened to my synopsis of symptoms, looked in my ear and diagnosed me with "ear wax." When I gently pushed back stating that ear wax does not cause a whole host of symptoms that I was experiencing the PA doubled down and my growing frustration was met with attitude, with the PA going so far as to blame me for not sharing a symptom that was shared moments before with the medical assistant because he had not read the notes. He insisted that the diagnosis was ear wax and post-nasal drip, despite me providing a very detailed medical history that included details that would have made it clear that I could differentiate between post-nasal drip and a more acute sensation. I was able to secure a doctors appointment later in the day, and was diagnosed with a massive ear infection. This is the second time this facility has grossly misdiagnosed an ENT issue I've had.

I like this place — however — it is no longer a place where you can get care within 30 minutes. I came for a simple wrap since I cut myself with a straight razor — it took 3 hours . Even with an appointment 2 woman skipped ahead of me . I’m considerate— the staff is good — but the either need more doctors or more PAZ. From 130-230 they weren’t taken anyone; that’s a bit much . A revolving door system would be better — I also mentioned my asthma and no one even inquired about it— and they left the blood pressure machine on my bicep. The previous staff had set such an amazing high standard it has degraded. (Note of those if those two women had appointed before me I would get it —but that don’t seem like case——I was waiting right in front for the hour before the fist women arrived .) when I asked the young lady in front she said she didn’t see me in the waiting room. Did they make me wait on purpose? If so that’s terrible .

Dont come here, they changed is under a new name , bad service and untrained staff. Dont show off unless you have an appoiment, not a walk in clinic any more. The only "One dr" on duty was taking care of so many patients at the same time , my appt was at 10am , called me in at 10:50am then seating in a room for 1 more hr waiting for the Dr. that he messed up my prescription, he never sent it to the farmacy . You call and nobody picks up the phone ,it lookd like the phone is patched to a main computer line with its not in this location.

Still waiting on my missing and/or incomplete test results. It's been over a month!!! This place is disorganized and incompetent. The LIC location is just as bad. Do not go there! ALSO, check your billing info-- they charge for services you did not request and/or authorize. I'm launching an investigation with my insurance.

Terrible costumer service! First, I made an appointment on the phone for gynecology for Saturday afternoon. They confirmed by text so there is no chance that I misunderstood the time or location cause I have proof. I arrived there on time and receptionist said that doctor was not there. Then gave me another date for the next availability for gynecologist which was for Thursday 2:30 pm. When I arrived there on Thursday, different receptionist told me that there is no gynecologist. So, I wasted my time and effort to go there twice for nothing. And the receptionist wasn’t even acting sorry and trying to solve the problem ( finding another location or time for gynecology etc. ) Instead she kept saying that there is nothing she can do. I m never returning any of their locations..

My appointment was at 2:30. I didn't get seen till 4:30. Being sick with the flu and just waiting there was not the best experience. The doctor was nice and thorough with her checkups. However they forgot to send my medication to the pharmacy. I basically wasted my time, since I don't even have the medication to treat my symptoms. I tried calling back and its just an infinite hold.

My appt was booked for 10:00AM - 10:15AM. I wasn’t called in for my DOT Physical until 11:00AM. I was charged for my visit before I sat down; this was a tactic used for me not to leave from growing impatient. This is untrustworthy business. When checking out; the staff couldn’t find my license and I waited until they found it. I noticed a staff member on their phone and another that went on a lunch break just before losing my drivers license. This didn’t help as this staff member was the only one that knew where it was. I thought I was coming to a professional care center. I won’t be going back for any of my health care needs. There are too many areas for improvement. The only positivity was office cleanliness.

Customer service at the reception is 5/10. It is located in a place where many Hispanic people arrive and they do not receive good attention. A bilingual person would be good. I called for an appointment They told me I can go Walking. I went at one o'clock when I arrived they told me that the doctor had just left for lunch to come back at two in the afternoon. I went home, I came back at two in the afternoon when I arrive at two in the afternoon they tell me that I have to come back at three in the afternoon because the doctor has just left for lunch. huh?? I had no problem canceling the appointment and going somewhere else on 82nd.

Once again, I had a positive experience at NAO, Jackson Heights. On 2/24 I had to return because my home test showed I was Covid positive. I received excellent care from Nnamdi, RN. He was patient, thorough, and informed.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with this place. I will not be going back again- it's a shame because they're so near my house. I've been sick all week with a throat infection and I went online to make an appt for urgent care to get a strep test. I was surprised to see they had appointments within 30 minutes, so I made it. I got there at 11:30, my appointment time, and began a 20 minute wait to even get checked in- there were only two people ahead of me in line. The place is freezing cold, and there were not enough chairs for all of the people waiting. I finally went up to the second person at the desk who didn't seem to be helping anyone and asked if she could check me in. Why wasn't she servicing all the other people in line? Then the complaints began. People had been waiting for two hours they said. Why is it so cold in here? The staff said there was only one medical provider! Okay, so that sort of thing happens, right? But then why are they accepting appointments when they're already two hours behind? And of course, everyone was rude. There was zero compassion for making people wait two hours. As I sat there, four more people got in line. And the entire time I was there, only one person got called back into the medical rooms. As I'm telling my husband on the phone what's happening, he calls another urgent care location MyDoc Urgent Care Jackson Heights on 37th Ave, and they've no wait and can see me immediately. Obviously I just walk out right then. He sends them all my info in advance and by the time I walk over there it's set up and I'm in a room getting medical care within 10 minutes. This place is extremely understaffed, the facilities are shabby (not even a water dispenser in the waiting room), and the staff that are there are rude as hell. I feel terrible for all those other people who are probably still there waiting while I'm home with my antibiotics.

My wife came here due to her ears being infected and having yellow discharge. Even with an appointment, she had to wait over 2 hours to be seen. To top it off, she was misdiagnosed with a ruptured eardrum and was given oral antibiotics. When in fact, she had an infected ear canal and needed to be given ear drops. I would recommend going elsewhere if you need urgent care. This place needs to be more organized and correctly ran with competent professionals. P.S. If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!!

My mother who only speaks Spanish came to this clinic yesterday 09/ 28 and checking in process went smoothly and that the assistants were very polite. When the doctor came in and started speaking english she advised him she only speaks Spanish and he rolled his eyes and yelled for translation and walked out the room. After a couple minutes the assistant came in with the doctor to translate and she was very nice however the doctors overall attitude was very rude and rushed the visit. I’m not one to write reviews but my mothers experience here was not pleasant.

The doctor I had on call was one of the worst ive had . I had to tell him over and over I was dehydrated I need a fluid bag and he goes no you're okay your tongue isn't white. Until he had to look for my veins and couldn't find not one BECAUSE I WAS DEHYDRATED and it took over an hour to find even one tiny one . On top of a list of other things he did completely wrong. He was so spaced out it was absolutely ridiculous. I like the place I never had not one bad experience, until that doctor. Funny after the fluid bag I did start feeling better. Oh and he didn't run the tests I needed and kept asking if I'm sure I want these tests done. IM SICK yes I do. I still never got an answer as to what was wrong because he didn't run all tests or even care to. I gave 2 stars because the staff and nurses are so attentive and so sweet and really try to help you and they actually listen to your needs.

I'm very dissapointed at this place. Stay away is a joke. I booked online an appointment for today at 9 am. When I got there I had to stand in the rain for 15 min until a very rude woman gets there and Sai she can't let us in because the front desk is 30 min late. The lights were off, no doctors or nurses, rude people ...not sure why the website let you schedule an appointment when nobody is gonna be there. The worst that rude woman did not care it was pouring rain and cold and let us outside apparently waiting God knows how long until the front desk gets there. I'm so mad and dissapointed and of course sick and couldn't get the care I needed. Stay away.

The staff was amazing. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and medical assistants were caring and listened to my concerns. They were quick and efficient while addressing my needs. So very happy I chose to visit Nao Medical. I would highly recommend them and I would choose them again if I needed to see a dr.

I hope my voice is heard all my needs. Yesterday 10/13/10, I went to an appointment with my doctor Torres who is an excellent humane and respectful doctor. While I was waiting for her, a super rude and angry man came in with a defiant attitude, being very rude to the staff, he entered the manager's office without authorization because he did not know what he said This patient broke into the managers office. They needed a better manager or some kind of security for these women. I understand that patient care is everything but we are all human and respect should not be taken away from ANYONE. This man continued to call the manager all kinds of names and what he would do to him every time he walked away. It was very unpleasant and I felt very scared because of his attitude towards all the staff. I feel very sorry for the girl at the reception, Vanessa, because she has to put up with rudeness and aggression from those who come to this place, she very professionally attended this man and he scared her with his shouts and threats Absolutely this makes other patients not want to come here and damage the reputation of the clinic I had all the patients and staff scared and nothing was done. THERE HAVE TO BE RULES FOR THIS KIND OF THINGS AND MORE SAFETY FOR EVERYONE

I utilized their online check-in system and found it very intuitive. I was able to attach images of my documents (e.g. state ID) to their website with no issues. When I arrived at the medical care, there was a line of folks. However, the center representative prioritized those with appointments to the front of the line. I was then quickly attended. I arrived at the receptionist and was then quickly instructed to proceed to the testing room. This was a rather quick process as the receptionist had all my records that I earlier entered online. I was out within half an hour with my requested results.

Horrible wait times, especially if you arrive early, the appointment schedule makes no sense especially during covid periods, I don’t normally criticize any place because I try to understand the traffic and the protocol but no the environment was too relaxed no sense of duty to actually assist and get these patients in and out with care, I hate to say it but if someone is in pain or struggling to breath don’t you think you would expect at least a sense of hurry honestly, these are experiences I do not wish on anyone. Keep in mind the time of this post is 12:58pm And arrival was 12:15pm with only me and one more individual

From the moment I walked into this urgent care office my experience was a nice one! The front desk was prompt at greeting me and getting my profile set-up. The wait time was minimal and the nurse and doctor detailed and professional. I would definitely recommend this office.

Do not go here! I got seen for an ear infection in September. It took less than 10 min inside with the doctor. I walked out and asked if they needed anything/owed anything and they said no. Then in January I get multiple texts and emails that I have a $50 outstanding fee. Usually that wouldn’t be a problem bc I would pay right after a visit but the fact that they are saying I have an outstanding balance that I was NEVER informed doesn’t make sense. I call the billing department and ask for a statement. They say they’ve already sent one (which they didn’t) and that it’s only copay because my total was $400. I request a statement regardless and they say it take 2-3 days (let’s see if I get one). There is complete lack of transparency here!

Excellent care. Booked appointment and within minutes someone actually called to find out about my medical problem. I was seen the same day by a very understanding and competent medical assistant and Doctor. They took excellent care of me and were both very caring and gentle at the same time! The young gentleman at the front desk was also very kind and polite. Five stars!!!

I made an appt. for my mother and accompanied her. After waiting more than half an hour, the couple who was fighting about their bill when we arrived was still at the desk. Almost no one seems to work here, there is no respect for the appointments, you’ll just wait in a lobby full of other sick people for ages. Please find another option.

On Sunday I had a very poor impression of NAO. Receptionist was very unwelcoming, barely acknowledged patients. No sense of urgency. Med. staff was better but a bit unprofessional and ignored my privacy and dignity. I was on the exam table with my pants and underwear pulled down to my knees. NP left the room briefly and left the door 1/2 way open with people walking back and forth. Med. was prescribed but never called into my pharmacy as promised until I contacted NOA. Today I went in for a follow up with dread. I would not have returned if it wasn't absolutely necessary to get a dressing changed. However, much to my surprise a completely different experience. Receptionist was friendly, welcoming and thorough. Made me feel positive about returning. There was a very belligerent customer who was yelling, demanding and profane with her. I was amazed at how professionally she handled such a volatile situation. She did not lose her cool once and was responsive to all his complaints regardless of his belligerence and vulgarity. You're fortunate to have her working for NAO. The PA who treated me, Andrew, was excellent. Very professional without being cold and removed. Responsive to all my questions, gave me very good suggestions and very, very concerned for my privacy and dignity. When he left the room to retrieve some supplies he covered my backside with a chuck and closed the door. I am very thankful for that. I have to return again tomorrow for another dressing change and am hoping my experience is not a sour one like Sunday but a positive one like today.

I walked in around 12:10 and was the only one in the waiting room. When I asked to speak to a doctor about my lab results, the person at the desk told me that it shouldn’t be a long wait. After almost 30 minutes waiting, I asked her for a refund on my copay cause I needed to go (and I still haven’t talked to the doctor). At that point, she hesitated, and as there was a doctor sitting with her up front he brought me right back to the exam room. He said he wasn’t aware there were any patients waiting and said no one let him know.

I had a great experience in Nao Medical - JH. The people who helped me were very friendly and knowledgeable. I needed to get several testing done and they gave me the price of each one and solved all of my questions. Briana was very attentive and kind and she even followed up with me after the results. Milay was also very nice and helpful. Thank you so much for your help! Also, the place was super clean, I went around 7:00pm and there was no waiting line.

I've been to few urgent care centers and this by far was the best. I was able to call and make an appointment for my daughter. When we arrived we waited less than 5 minutes and was directed to the room. The ladies up front were friendly, very helpful, and amazing. Excellent customer service Answered any questions I had regarding my daughter insurance. I need to give a huge shout out to Stephanie R, Kim and Shea. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful front desk staff. One member of the team that stood out to me was Shea, great customer service and the only reason I can honestly give even 2 stars. The doctor I saw was very condescending and dismissive. Dr. Chandra should reconsider a career in medicine.

These people lied. I have called several times asking if my 95 yo mother could come without any wait time to get a test done. I spoke to several people, explaining to them that at 95 she has difficulties walking and moving. That she cannot come back for another appointment. Upon coming there, the receptionist told her that she had to wait for 4 hours. I asked the receptionist to make an exception because of her advanced age. The receptionist refused. My 95-year-old mother had wasted her energy and had to go back. There was no compassion at all. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I had an appointment today at 4:45pm, I was a little late due to getting off work late. But as soon as I arrived at Nao Medical I was greeted by the Lead PCA Shea & Vanessa. They both immediately took care of me. Also it was Vanessa’s Birthday :-) ! I would recommend anyone coming here if they have anything urgent they want to take care of.

Went in for a Covid test. If you arrive during non-peak times then you’re able to be seen as son as it’s your appointment time. Staff was very friendly and quick. During the consultation the provider gave me a lot of useful information and advice. The only thing that was unclear was wether the “provider” was an actual MD which is something they should be disclosing upfront.

Great facility. Took care of all my needs during such a stressful time in my life, health-wise (I'm sure everyone can relate given the year we've had). I think what makes this place so nice to come to is the attention from the people at the front desk. Although we're all wearing masks, I can tell I'm being greeted with smiling eyes :). The people at the desk are patient, direct, and explain everything that is being done for me in detail. Keep it up!

Go there for emergencies only, don't accept them as primary care. One of their doctors forgot to give me antibiotics and I ended up getting an infection cause of it, and recently my appointment was moved a day later because they deemed it fit for me to have a virtual appointment on the day the doctors and I agreed I would visit.

Everyone at the front desk was helpful, polite. The PA’s and their support person’s were knowledgeable, professional, and I felt confident in their expertise. They treated my wound w care and I felt much better simply because of the perfect bandaging. I was instructed to come back I. 2-3 days for them to examine the wound for any signs of infection. I am very pleased w my experience and will not hesitate to use this urgent care facility again should the need arise.

Worst experience ever. If you need a PCR for traveling, DO NOT GO HERE. They’ll tell you that you would get your test result back within 24 hours (customer service even said 6-12 hours). 48 hours and 12 phone calls later I still didn’t get my result and had to scramble last minute before my trip to find some place else. It’s dishonest to promise something and completely not deliver. Avoid at all cost.

Would not recommend Nao Medical due to their disorganized and shady billing practices. I have received multiple messages from different emails, directing me to different websites to pay conflicting amounts. No one picks up the billing phone number - everything must be communicated through email and they are slow to respond.

I waited 2 hours from 10:20am to 12:30pm & I had an appointment booked, because the medical assistant up front never logged me in & when approached , gave me negative energy & attitude & didn't make sure I was next immediately. They need more staff , especially at the front desk, she can't handle it alone, she was overwhelmed & speaking to the patients rudely. The doctor & back medical assts were pleasant & fast. But because of this experience, I won't be returning to this location, unless I need a rapid covid test. They also only have about 7 chairs in the waiting area, which caused people to stand over an hour wait.
