While it was what I expected from a haunted house (great consumes, great scenes/ decor, good screams), the wait time was truly not fun and quite disappointing. We had bought tickets for a 9pm entry and were not let in until 10:15- (and then we were in and out of the haunted house within 10-15 minutes). We learned that the actors needed a break which is TOTALLY understandable but then please don’t sell tickets for that time slot!

Honestly. **** this place and their no refund policy I wasn’t able to attend my time slot due to personal covid issues that came up unexpectedly. I paid $100+ for those tickets. All that money wasted for ****ing nothing and absolutely zero customer support. No help. No email back. The phone number directs you to some barely understandable gargled automated voice. Ridiculous.

It was a little strange and I was more shocked and surprised that scared. Blood Manor is not for the faint of heart. If you don't like scared or shocked, don't go in. Had fun though.

Honestly one of the worst haunted houses I’ve been to, and that’s saying a lot. For $50 I was expecting it to be longer than a 5-10 minute walk thru. They have you wait outside for 10-15 min, but then once you get inside, you are once again just waiting in line not seeing anything for another ten minutes. The remaining 5-10 minutes are actually walking thru the “haunted house”, however, the decor is sub-par, rooms are pretty lame, there aren’t enough actors and it’s over before you know it. Absolutely not worth your time or money. Go elsewhere.

We have adored ! My husband doesn't like being scared, so I forced him to come with me on our trip to New York. Since the parade was a fiasco for us, Blood Manor made our Halloween evening profitable! Actors are already present in the queue to keep you waiting, and set the mood by scaring passers-by. Then once inside, the decor is just great and the actors take their roles seriously! We had some big scares but we really had fun! For people who don't like being afraid and who are sensitive, I don't recommend it, otherwise the others, go for it! Sure, it's a budget, but you won't be disappointed!

It's over too fast. You finish way too fast. It needs to be longer. My son said it was underwhelming. We did not get our money's worth that is for sure. I have to find a new haunted house for next year.

These pics were the most fun I had. It was lame. A couple people running around. The 3D part was exciting but the meals made it difficult to be pushed through with it seeing things correctly holding the glasses. The destination and the customers were great the n pay out was good too but not scary at all but worth the$50 $25 would be better value

Employees did not comply with the COVID rules listed on their site; they weren’t wearing masks. They also didn’t check anyone’s temperature before entering the facility. Many groups will be in front of you and behind you and it’s extremely hot inside. Overall, the actors were decent and it’s still a fun time, but they should take COVID far more seriously than they do. There are also no metal detectors and God forbid someone with a weapon or someone unhinged enters and harms the actors and guests.

Kind of a waste of money. We paid $234 for 3 R.I.P passes which included the shorter wait in line and a ten minute experience. Well decorated but extremely overpriced for the very short walk through. Paid $20 for a trail in CT that was over an hour and definitely a better experience overall. Blood Manor was very disappointing.

As members of the Brooklyn Paranormal Society, we recently had the opportunity to investigate Blood Manor in Manhattan. We were blown away by the level of detail and authenticity of the haunted house attraction, and we were thrilled to have some truly paranormal experiences during our visit. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a world of terror and horror. The sets were incredibly realistic, and the actors were incredibly convincing. As we made our way through the haunted house, we experienced strange noises, sudden temperature changes, and unexplained shadows and apparitions. We were truly terrified, and we were convinced that there was something supernatural going on at Blood Manor. One of the most memorable moments of our visit came when we encountered the ghost of a firefighter who had died in a tragic accident at the building many years ago. The ghost appeared out of nowhere, and we were all struck by the intensity of his presence. We could feel the sadness and anger emanating from him, and we were left with no doubt that this was a real ghost. After our investigation, we were convinced that Blood Manor is definitely haunted. The level of paranormal activity we experienced was off the charts, and we can't wait to go back and conduct further investigations. We highly recommend Blood Manor to anyone who is interested in the paranormal, and we encourage you to join us on our next visit. Five stars!

Blood Manor is a really great place if you want to feel the Halloween spirit. When you first get there you will need to find the gate that has your assigned time. THE ACTORS WILL NOT TOUCH YOU! The ambiance is creepy and the props are great. There are some very dark halls so be careful when traversing. They frightening me with jumpscares but personally I love all the actors makeup and commitment to their craft. It's only a 4/5 due to the price/time. The experience was good but very short, the price doesn't justify it making you feel wanting more from them. Overall it was great but too pricy for a short amount of time.

It's a great place to scare your self with your teenagers for Halloween. No little kids! Since it's in manhattan you can run around the city if you are a out of towner and enjoy that also because you have Little Italy and Chinatown close by(15 min walk)

We are haunted house enthusiasts been to a lot all over the USA it was cool getting to go to one in downtown Manhattan. A little shorter than most but it was a great experience with some great props and actors. Also a nice selection of shirts and merch. Which is good for us!!

It was good experience once for halloween if you don't have other plans. There was such a long line even with the pre-reserved ticket, but the halloween atmosphere was good. It was decorated well but not really scary.

I’ve been to tons of haunted houses, and even the ones in rural counties were longer, scarier, more creative, and more intense. I really expect more from the “premiere haunted house in the Big Apple.” The actors were low effort and I just bad for them. They put your party with others so even if it were actually scary (it’s not), you’d see it coming. The actors didn’t even have masks—just a little face paint. Ridiculous and sad. Very much a ripoff. Please pay attention to the reviews that are fair and honest—not the ones who rate everything five stars, because they can’t have been to the same haunt as we went to.

I thought Blood Manor was awesome! Lots of actors, most w a ton of personality and commitment to their roles. They got me a couple times and I can usually see these guys coming from a mile away. It’s on the shorter side, 10 minutes or so, but it’s pretty densely packed so that worked for us. They also kept us in our group so we felt alone the whole time. Arrived around opening Monday before Halloween.

They put a lot of effort into Blood Manor. I went on Halloween night, so they rushed everyone. That being said, there was plenty of moving about inside of the manor. I would definitely recommend going to this place on the weekdays, the experience would probably be longer and better.

So much fun! This was one of the best haunted houses we've ever been to! The staff was very professional and accommodating, with a security presence outside keeping things orderly and moving along safely. The characters, costumes, and decor were amazing! Very professional, with all the role players staying in character throughout the event, which lasted about 20 minutes. Before and after they even took time to pose for a couple pictures. In spite of attending on Halloween weekend, the line was very manageable and about what one would expect. The spooky characters lurking around out front also kept everyone entertained as we waited to enter. A very good time for whole family! Thanks.

Was really excited about going to the scarier version of the Blood Manor Haunted House which was the Lights Out version on Nov 4. Before going in, we were told about the procedure and they emphasized the fact that we will NOT be touched. That definitely cooled some nerves before entering. However, after the first room, the actor yanked my jacket and pulled my boyfriend and I. Another room we went to, an actress held my boyfriends hand to scare him. Absolutely not worth the money and overall disappointed in this years haunted house. Would NOT recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience. Went with my girlfriend who was terrified. She sadly was so scared she could not go through but the staff was extremely kind and understanding and even offered to walk her through without all the terror. I went through the experience and thought it was amazing. I 100% recommend going and bring someone who scares easy. Makes it worth every penny.

Costume design and props look good but it's just not worth the time or price. I understand they try to maximize their profits and sell as much as they can, but the experience suffers as a result. My experience was walking from room to room with 8 other people and watching the people up at the very front get jump scared for 10 minutes as everyone behind them essentially just watched them enjoy the experience. If you're not in the very front of the group then it's not even worth the walk through. Eventually my group walked into part of the group in front of us and the group behind us caught up as well so pacing was all over the place. Next thing you know you're walking with a group of like 12 individuals through tiny hallways which was even less fun.

Just came back from here and loved it! The affects were amazing and the actors were realistic and professional! The wait time was very short and actors came out to really give you the feel before you go in. There were a lot of good scares. The customer service was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time in the haunted house! If you’re looking for a good scary place to go, you found the right place. Really scary and definitely worth every penny. The management staff were super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend everyone going

I’ll be honest… I wanted to like it but I did not. Some of the acting was off. I tried to have a good time though. I put 2 stars because of The 3D glasses part, that was really cool also the props looked really nice and realistic. I wish the whole house was with the 3D glasses. Maybe it was too packed and I could see every scare coming. If there were less people maybe it would’ve been more scary and eerie. I feel like it needs to be longer and more jump scares. Edit: added 3 stars because I actually laughed a few times

Went here a few years ago. Please avoid at all costs and go out of nyc to an attraction. This is a conveyor type attraction that takes 5 minutes to walk but at least 2 hours to wait in line. NOT SCARY AT ALL.

The Cast is great. My friend and I.love it. We go.back every year. We've been to other haunted houses and they weren't scary at all. Blood Manor will give you nightmares especially if your scared of clowns!

They delivered a terrifying experience! It is scary!! If you are looking for a good haunted house that makes you feel like a character in a scary movie this is it! Really worth it!

  • 3/5 Kai M. 6 months ago on Google • 1 review
Cool designs but it just wasn't really scary. Passageways are so cramped that the actors are going to end up touching you and they put props way too close. I was more afraid of getting hit than I was anything in the actual experience of the house. My partner's leg was grabbed and they almost tripped along with a lot of screaming in their face or ears. It was more painful than scary. Actors were amazing, but more no-contact training would have made the experience much more enjoyable.

Very pricey for a haunt that was moderate at best and definitely not disable friendly. Understandable as it may be went with my family and the last part of the haunt that requires you to put on the 3D glass. My wife can’t because he glasses which is for her legally blind disability would be interfered and she was harassed not once but twice by two different actors. Not happy

Great scares! The staff was very professional and didn’t try to touch or harass you. From the start the actors put you in the headspace to be scared. Most were easy going and fun. The worst part was the dark hallway where there is no light so we just called out “Where should we go? Left or right?” And man flashed a light for us to continue on. The scariest/ most intense room is the Dr’s Office/ Morgue where multiple people come after you. But after that it’s a neon clown escape and you can handle anything. Overall, great experience and they put on a great show. Would 10/10 recommend and go again!

👍👍 I've always wanted to review Kreischer's halloween haunts but I noticed the social media pages (Facebook etc) tend to change every year. I also believe there's no dedicated website for the attraction specifically. Anywho, the experience's I've gotten have always been top quality here. I've gone to...
