A New York experience. The Edge is a must if you want a panoramic view of the city. The area is surrounded by glass so no view is a bad view. I recommend going at sunset/after dark so you can see the city light up. It’s a tourist attraction so have some patience and bring a camera!

We loved the edge. The view was amazing from the top. We also went to the the top of the rock and the edge was a much better experience. The ride up in the elevator was an experience in its self. The show an amazing projection on the elevator walls. There are 2 bars up at the top. The drinks are a little expensive but not horrible. The center of the floor at the top is made of glass and you can see down to the street level it pretty fantastic. As an over all experience it was great.

I have been to a lot of the rooftop viewing attractions in New York and this beats them all. The ease of getting in was quick and getting through security and to the top was very fast. The lift to the top is smooth with a cool animated view of the development of the city. The views at the top are amazing. Love the 360 degree views and it is easy to see without having to wait to your turn. Plenty of areas to see all the city. Loved it and would recommend this before any other rooftop viewing attractions. Great prices too.

I'm a proud annual pass owner and I finally had the chance to visit Observatory Edge in September. I was fortunate enough to witness the floral exhibition of Flower Bomb, which was absolutely lovely and very pretty. The place was buzzing with people taking pictures from various angles and spots, creating lasting memories. Observatory Edge offers a 360-degree view, and it's remarkably spacious. When we visited on a midweek afternoon around 2 p.m., there was no line and no wait time to use the elevator to go up or down. The view from the top is nothing short of spectacular. I stayed until sunset and enjoyed every moment of it. I can't wait to return and experience their autumn exhibition. This place is truly a gem, and as an annual pass holder, I'm delighted to have such a fantastic spot to visit. I also want to mention that the Observatory provides clean restrooms, which is a must for this popular place. Additionally, they have a convenient water refill station, making it easy to stay hydrated during your visit. It's great to see that they pay attention to the little details that make the overall experience even better.

Outstanding! Excellent Views, Entertaining Lift to the Top and Back down. Lots of choices at the bars, very spacious and open. Staff were amazing! They helped my wife overcome her Vertigo and Anxiety. It's a Great Place to visit and the drinks although costly, not over the top for the area. Certainly worth a visit l, not like any other in NYC

Edge is the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, located at 30 Hudson Yards. It offers stunning 360-degree views of the city, including the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River. The deck features a thrilling glass floor and angled glass walls that make you feel like you're floating in the sky. There's also a champagne bar where you can relax and take in the views.

I recently visited Edge with Edge Adult Premium Sunset tickets and I have to say, it was an experience of a lifetime! The wait time was around 10 to 14 minutes, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire visit. Brianna Johnson took our beautiful pictures. The price of admission is a bit on the higher side, but it is completely worth it for the stunning view from the top. The construction engineering of the attraction is truly remarkable. The structure itself is built to give you the illusion of walking on air, and the entire thing feels incredibly safe and sturdy, even though it extends 80 feet out from the building's edge! The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking, with a 360-degree view of New York City that is simply unforgettable. The sunset view from the top is especially remarkable, with the sun casting a warm and golden glow over the entire city. It's truly a sight to behold. Overall, I highly recommend Edge to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in New York City. The price may be a bit steep, but it is worth every penny for the incredible view and the engineering feat that is the attraction itself. 'General' ticket is also worth buying but it will not include the sunset time. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to see the city like never before! Tip: I visited during the winter months, and I highly recommend bringing gloves and a cap due to the heavy winds that can be quite chilly at the top. Additionally, if you plan on staying from morning to evening, I suggest bringing sunglasses to help see the view clearly.

Worth It! I loved this observation deck! The price is the same at the other towers, the $20 champagne in the plastic glass....look at my picture and tell me if you think it's worth it ..... 😏 I think not...but the view is beutiful as well as the sunset. I liked the little souvenir shop up above, the bathrooms were top notch for stalls, little place to buy snacks. The mall below had many nice stores and restaurants to visit before or after the trip up. Overall I'm very glad I went and would return with friends/family.

I typically hate touristy activities but this was SO WELL DONE from start to finish. Very organized, very spacious, very engaging! The observation deck was INSANE :) and they had a bar. Bathrooms were well placed and there were plenty of photo op areas. Would certainly recommend for the money!!!

Really enjoyed this building and this experience in this city. The building and who neighborhood concept that they are pursing is really quite interesting and honesty impressive that they've been able to complete thus far. The building is state of the art and incorporates so many LEED concepts that will add to the city and the occupants for many years to come. The viewing are is very cool, and relatively affordable considering the view you get. I also felt very safe considering all that is standing between you and a free fall is glass. Would definitely do this again.

Highly recommended by local friends as a great place for a night out. During our last night visiting NYC, we wanted a memorable fine dining experience with a panoramic view of the city during sunset and evening. We had done our homework and reserved a table weeks in advance at the Peak. We timed our dinner reservation just before sunset, and we got a "free" ride up the elevator to the Edge 30 minutes before our reservation for some spectacular open-air views of the Manhattan skyline from the outdoor observation deck during golden hour. Dinner was pricy, but the food and atmosphere made it worthwhile. After dinner, we had a second chance to see the Manhattan skyline at night. Bring a warm jacket, as it gets quite cold and breezy at night.

My experience at The Edge in NYC was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to its exceptional views of the city. The panoramic sight from the top provided a breathtaking perspective of New York, making it well worth the visit. However, it's worth mentioning that the experience comes at a price, and it is a bit expensive compared to other viewpoints in the city. Nevertheless, the added cost is justified by the unique features The Edge offers. The see-through floor on certain sections of the platform added an exhilarating sense of height. It's not for the faint of heart but certainly enhances the overall thrill of the experience. One notable advantage was the speed at which we ascended to the top. The process was swift and efficient, allowing more time to enjoy the stunning views. I highly recommend purchasing tickets online to skip any potential lines and ensure a smoother entry. Additionally, it's crucial to pick a good date for your visit, as clouds and fog could easily impact the experience. Optimal weather conditions will ensure an unforgettable visit to The Edge, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Beats the Empire State Building for views and experience (minus the history of course). Stunning wraparound views and a lovely, contemporary setting. Perfect time is 30 minutes before sunset- elevates the experience. This is a must see for any NYC trip. My kids loved it as well.

We booked the tickets in advance! The time indicated on the ticket was 14:40. We reached the top around 15:52. Only 2 elevators and they only letting in 10-11 people. There was no AC while waiting and no possibilities to sit down or go to a restroom… After you get up, you get an amazing view and that is the only positive thing I can say about this observation deck. It was not crowded up there, probably because everyone was fed up already and wanted to go down again. If you decided to go down again, calculate another 1 hour to get down… We stood in the line and some lady decided to let people use the elevator on another floor, which was nowhere indicated… For some reason she chose the people from the back of the line and those who were in the middle or in the front of the line, had no choose but to wait even more… When she was asked about this, she said that she has her reasons… Amazing view, but calculate with that your will spend hours-and hours of your life with standing in a line…

This was a great experience. We came here after seeing that it was covered under our New York pass. It was relatively quick in terms of getting inside, and going up to the top. Once you get there, the facilities are brilliant and the viewing platform is fantastic. Unfortunately it can be a bit difficult to take good pictures of the city because of the dirty plastic sheets in front of you. Ideally, there would be small gaps that would allow you to take pictures, such as in the Rockefeller. However a highlight is the glass floor, which is pretty terrifying. The viewing platform is also quite large, so you can see different sections of the city. Overall, I’d recommend this experience.

We went to the skyline view. The view is spectacular. The staff was disciplined. It was crowned and they were allowing people to enter as per their ticket slots. You can see informative boards about buildings and other Nyc architecture. It was a decent experience. We entered the inside edge through the shopping center. You can roam around the building as it has food and drink options around

Strongly recommend this place! You WILL enjoy the view even more at night! You can use the stairs there (for better pictures) just if you buy something in the coffee shop. We bought souvenirs there so be prepared to find beautiful things ✨

Great views. The views outside are pretty extraordinary. The glass view down is a bit scary. Crowds on. Tuesday were low intensity. Souvenirs are well made, but not cheap! I am a New Yorker and I am happy I visited with a friend from out of town. And a walk down south on the High Line is a good ending (or beginning). ✌🏽💗🙏🏽

Some of the BEST views in the entire city. Buy tickets in advance, because they sell put fast. It also has a bar, and I store inside. The drinks were SO good. This is a great place to go out & have fun with family, friends or a solo date.

Best viewing platform in NYC. We went in January and had to wait not even a minute to go up the elevator (same on the way down). The staff if very friendly and the view all over New York is absolutely amazing! I‘d recommend you to come 1 hour before sunset, so you can see it during day time, sunset and night time, when all the light are on! Dress appropriately, since it can be quite windy up there! Would also recommend booking through booking.com- the price is a lot cheaper there!

We had a great time at the Edge. We went on a day that was sunny and warm, which definitely drew in a lot of crowds. Try to go during a time that would be less crowded if you want the best experience. Despite the crowds though, we were still able to enjoy the views. We waited maybe about 20 minutes to get to the elevators and they really pack you in. At the top, you can enjoy views both indoors and outdoors.

This is one of the must visit attractions in New York City. It is recommended to reserve tickets ahead of time. Also weekdays are less crowded, we didn't have to wait for the elevator to go up 100+ floors. Once you are on the Edge, you can enjoy the spectacular views of New York City, New Jersey from here. The day we visited there were several rain clouds, made the view even more spectacular. Walking on the glass floor made me dizzy :) Highly recommend this place. There is a bar, where you can buy, beer, wine etc. Also a restaurant on top.

Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, located at 30 Hudson Yards in New York City. It offers 360-degree views of the city, from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty. The deck is designed to give visitors the feeling of floating in the air, with glass walls and floors that provide unobstructed views. There are several things that make Edge a unique and worthwhile experience. First, the height is simply staggering. Standing on the deck, you feel like you can reach out and touch the clouds. Second, the design is truly innovative. The glass walls and floors make you feel like you're part of the cityscape, rather than just looking at it from afar. Third, the views are simply unbeatable. On a clear day, you can see for miles in every direction. Of course, there are some drawbacks to visiting Edge. The tickets can be expensive, and the lines can be long. Additionally, the deck can be crowded, especially during peak times. However, if you're looking for a truly unforgettable experience, Edge is definitely worth the visit. Here are some of the pros and cons of visiting Edge: Pros: * Highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere * Unobstructed 360-degree views of the city * Innovative design with glass walls and floors * Breathtaking views on a clear day Cons: * Expensive tickets * Long lines * Can be crowded, especially during peak times Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting Edge if you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Just be prepared to pay a bit of a premium and be patient with the crowds. Here are some tips for visiting Edge: * Book your tickets in advance, especially if you're visiting during peak times. * Go during the week if possible, to avoid the crowds. * Arrive early to beat the lines. * Be prepared for the height. If you're afraid of heights, you may want to reconsider visiting. * Take your time and enjoy the views. There's no need to rush. I hope this helps!

What a neat experience to go just before sunset and watch the city light up below you in minutes. Taking photos through the glass is challenging and visiting on busy days keeps you waiting in line for that edge view. Took my 16 year old son, we enjoyed it. There are bleachers to sit up higher and get a good view. A must go!! Adventures folks can climb on the outside.

The story behind the building and the vision for buildings that are more sustainable for the future and work with the environment was really interesting. Then you go into the elevator and shoot up to the 100th floor, step out and see NYC. The view is amazing, it's designed not to be obstructed by walls, instead, it's all glass all around. One of the coolest parts is when you walk on glass and see the street 100 stories down. Great experience. Get your tickets in advance, you only enter at specific ticketed times.

This place is pure magic, it's not just another skyscraper, it's the best city sunsets 🌇 my eyes have ever seen. Although for some the entrance can be a bit expensive, I recommend everyone to visit it and live the experience. The best time to go is at sunset. I recommend everyone to buy tickets in advance. Eating in its restaurant many times includes going out to the terrace. Enjoy a lot this work of art in the best city in the world.

I’ve wanted to visit for a long time. You need to purchase tickets in advance and it takes forever to get in the elevator to get up to the floor The Edge is on as well as a long line to leave on the elevator. Full disclaimer, I’m not sure if there is even a better way for them to do it and the process is well worth waiting through. The views are absolutely amazing. I went on the weekend and definitely plan to visit again on a weekday when it may not be as hectic. They also have very interesting displays as you wait in line showing you the history of the city as well as the construction and features of the building the Edge is in.

Fast elevators. Quick lines. Amazing views. There are nice restrooms at the top and a bar with wine, beer, and mixed drinks. They’re pricey, but… deal with it. It rained a bit and the lightning forced us inside for half an hour, but it was kind of nice to sit on a bench and look out. HUGE pro tip - when you’re ready to go down, walk up the staircase behind the long line of people waiting to go down. There is another, almost always empty line upstairs in info down. You’re welcome.

We were worried about using this attraction as one of our City Pass choices because other reviews said the lines were long but we had zero issues. We went on a Tuesday at around 11:45 AM. The elevator wait was under 5 minutes and there was plenty of room to view from up top. You also had several options for different areas indoors and outdoors to sightsee. Definitely a cool experience and glad we went for it.

We had a nice time at the Edge with barely any waiting time and the deck wasn't too overcrowded. We pre-booked tickets for 11am which seemed like a good time to be there. Before entrance you're taken through a hall of an exhibition of sustainability that Hudson hopes to expand to other areas and cities. A very interesting perspective and makes the wait in the hall an informative experience. Once taken to the Edge you're met with a bunch of colorful and decorative fake flowers, and the deck outside offers a beautiful view of the city. Upstairs has a bar offering a wide variety of beverages and snacks. A nice experience and good opportunity to get an idea of just how big the city and skyscrapers are.

It was definitely an awesome experience to be going up in a few seconds to the 100th floor to see NYC skyscrapers. We reserved the time slot to see the sunset and city lights. There were a lot of tourists from all over the world for this attraction. The views are amazing!! It’s understandable that there was a long line to take the elevator downstairs. I totally recommend to go at least one time when you are visiting NYC!!

BEST VIEW IN NYC, IT IS IN-SA-NE!!! The building itself is just GORGEOUS, and to access it, you go through the Hudson Gardens, which are amazing too!! I would say that this was the most exciting place that I went in my trip to NYC! Go there around 5pm and stay to see the sunset: you will not regret it! It has also a beautiful lounge, where you can stay sit and relax, while eating/drinking.

Arguably one of the better rooftop experiences in NYC. Very unique design throughout building, speedy elevator ride with video, top is quite roomy, doesn't feel 'packed' as many locations do. Glass floor was a great experience, not often you get to look straight down 100 stories. Stunning views of Brooklyn, Hudson and Central Park areas. Tickets: We purchased the New York Pass (Which gets you in, but does not reserve a timed spot). Showed up at 9:50am, first trip up is at 10am and is for reserved tickets only. Was told we would have to wait until 10:20 which was fine, but at 10:05 they let us head in. Very courteous employees throughout, Vaccine/ ID check is smooth and quick. Highly recommended.

This was a highlight of a recent trip to NYC. I would definitely do it again. We went in Nov 2021, they did have a vaccine check, and security check before loading into the elevator. The elevator ride was extremely fast with a short video. Once at the top you are free to roam around the two levels. There is a store and small bar. We went during sunset which is recommended but there was plenty of people trying to take pictures. We had to wait in line to take a picture in the corner about 5-10 minute wait. Highly recommend.

Here you'll find some really stellar views of the city, and you can even see Lady Liberty in the distance, if your camera has enough zoom! The glass panes aren't as smudged as you'd expect, and it was really fun to take a lot of photos with so much sprawling cityscape as the backdrop! I was also surprised snacks and beverages were sold inside and then allowed out on the observation deck. There's even a large section set up like bleachers where you can sit and stare at the city peacefully. But of course, the main event is the triangular window straight down to the ground far below, where the classic NY taxis look like tiny ants, and the people seem almost microscopic. It's a really cool experience to stand on this and look down at the city! I personally liked the Empire State Building and the Top of the Rock better for their city views, but it's true that they didn't have anything like this particular attraction. I will say, I found Edge just a little bit overrated. The triangle isn't very large, and it can get crowded. It's also just not a particularly incredible view down. You see a street and the top of another building or two, but for some reason, I wanted it to feel higher or more unbelievable - or maybe even dangerous, which somehow I really didn't feel. It was a really cool experience, don't get me wrong! But if I could go back, I would try out Summit One instead, because it looks like the fully realized version of all Edge offers. Functionally, this place was great! The snacks and drinks feature was great. The bathrooms in the mall area were clean, and the signage to get from entering Hudson Yards to Edge was clear. We arrived during our booked window on a Sunday afternoon in mid-May, and there was no wait. If you have tickets here, you'll have a great time and really enjoy yourself! If you don't have tickets yet, take a look at Summit One and see which you'd really prefer!

This place was highly recommended by several friends, and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. We paid extra online for the express pass. Upon arrival, we we were whisked away from the regular line and led down some hallways to our own elevator that took us up the 100 floors in mere seconds. The doors opened, and we were slapped in the face by the best view of the city by far! The staff we encountered were all nice and helpful. The glass panel area was super busy and definitely worth checking out. If you plan ahead and get reservations at the restaurant PEAK, you will get access to this attraction for free!

Listen, the edge has a great views of the city for sure! You need to purchase timed ticket slots to go up and you can do it online or in person when you get there. I definitely suggest online though as they seem to sell out quick and the people buying at the site has 2+ hour wait before they could go up. You have an hour to get in line from your selected time slot. The views are beautiful but the line/wait time is ridiculous. Just when you think you are at the front of the line, you find yourself at another one. It took us about 50 mins to actually get to the top. (I think there are options to bypass the lines but I can’t imagine how expensive that gets). We purchased the tickets for mid day so we could see it in the day/night. By the time we got up there we just barely had any time to see the ‘day’ portion of it. And the tickets are insanely expensive in general and more-so depending on the time slot you choose. I’d say it was a fun one time experience.

Whether you're admiring the city lights twinkling at night or taking in the hustle and bustle of Manhattan below during the day, The Edge provides a stunning backdrop for any occasion. It's a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike, offering a new perspective on the beauty of New York City.

It is the perfect Observatory to visit during sunset! Even when I did not get the chance to do that. However, I managed to watch the sunset from across the Hudson (the view of the station, right behind the Vessel). How I wish that I knew that I had to make a reservation far in advance because I came at around 1800 and got an available time after the 2050. All and all, from 3 observatory towers I visited I personally think The Edge should have managed their checkin process much better and also the getting out process! I got to the Observatory floor at 2124 which was like 30 minutes waiting! I spent 30 minutes at the top to enjoy the view because it was too crowded and some people just did not want to take turn of the front view which was unfortunate. I decided to get out but had to wait for around an hour just to get to the ground floor due to extremely long queue, too exhausting! Had it not been that crowded, the edge would have been an excellent observatory place because it had proper sitting places to enjoy the view. Maybe I was just coming at the wrong time. Bonus the picture of the sunset you can enjoy outside when you don't get to see it up there.

Expensive but it offers a different view from Manhattan and its neighborhoods. We were lucky to go in a day where the weather was very clear. There were essentially no lines in a weekday morning. A decent zoom in your camera will allow you to capture even the Statue of Liberty from a distance. The process of getting tickets and being shepherded towards the observatory was very easy.

What a spectacular place to visit. One of the best sunsets I’ve encountered in my life. It’s worth 49 $ for one if you can spend endless time up there with 360 degrees view of NYC. I could recommend everyone I know to visit Edge and Hudson Yard.

Want to feel on top of the world? Head straight to The Edge at NYC! Climb 100 floors, walk to the Edge and you are looking 1000 feet below at the tiny vehicles pass by. Heck, you are even looking across at the WTC1 and down at the Empire State Building. We booked for our spot online and headed to the Hudson Yards. The check in process was smooth and has information on the building’s history written on a lot of walls. Please make sure you carry your vaccination proof (hard/soft copy). Plan to visit in the evening hours so that you can enjoy the fantastic view in clear daylight, watch the sunset and the legendary NYC lights. Sitting on top of a section of glass floor was just terrific feeling. We just didn’t time the time of the year as we visited this in a freezing February evening. The view from this place is just a modern day dream that needs to be experienced.

Hovering 100 stories over sleek and shiny Hudson Yard, this establishment is suspended in mid-air, giving one the unique feeling of floating in the sky. The Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, offering a jaw-dropping view of Manhattan from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty. My colleague and I came today as first-timers, with the weather being sunny, warm, and perfect. Assuming the timed entry system would mean little or no queueing once you were in at 130 p.m., that is absolutely not the case, as we waited about 45 minutes to get to the elevator. However, the moment you step onto the deck, you can't help but feel a rush of excitement, as there are four areas of viewing. The indoor viewing room is decorated with an autumn theme, a gift shop and the restaurant, which was closed due to a private event. The outside viewing deck is broken down into two sections. The main viewing deck has a triangle glass floor section you can walk across and a staircase-style seating area. The glass panels offer unobstructed views and are even angled for a bit of an adrenaline experience! There were plenty of people, but it didn't feel crowded at all. While the city buzzes below, up there, it's just you and the skyline, which we can recommend and advise to go on weekdays when it's less crowded.

The express admission is definitely worth it. You get to show up anytime during business hours. As well having priority access to the elevator and skip the line. We were able to check in and get to the observation deck in less than 15 minutes. The view is definitely worth it 📸🌉🌃😌

This place is really amazing if you like Sky cropper, if you like adrenaline if you like skyline, this is the bright place and the best that I never seen in my lifetime I suggest you to book online spend less, and to be sure that you can enter to this experience . At the top level 101 floor you can see all the skyline and city landscape is just a glass in between you and the city. The glass is very clean so you can take a really beautiful picture that is also a glass on the floor at the top of the triangle so you can see down Really amazing

Had an amazing experience. We went on Christmas morning and it was quite foggy due to rain. The staff informed us there was 0 visibility, but also let us know that we could stay up there as long as we want. Because of this we had no wait and still got great views. The views were great and I would definitely recommend doing on any trip to New York City.

The Edge is one of five observation decks in Manhattan. Each observation deck offers a different experience. The Edge is worth it, in my opinion. With the glass paneled floor, angled glass walls, and suspended sky deck, this is one of the most thrilling views in NYC. Edge is more spectacular, more extraordinary and the 700 square meter outside area is simply breathtaking. The tapered, glass platform has a distinctive design and is a must for all vertigo-free New York tourists. It is definitely worth visiting Edge, because you do not just walk around in a building, such as the WTC.

Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere located at 30 Hudson Yards, with a one-of-a-kind design. It has a beautiful view of the entire city. You can look down, its kinda scary but very cool!

Early arrival - there at 8:10am and so glad we got up early. Didn't have to "share" the experience with masses of other people. It was an amazing experience on a clear morning. Stunning views...we even stayed for breakfast to soak up the views for a little while longer. Beautifully clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The history and idea behind the Edge is fascinating! The Hudson Yards is a beautiful place in the city and would highly recommend visiting. The Edge observatory itself is a great experience for a nice sunny day. I went in the evening but the weather was cloudy and windy! So be sure you don’t fly away if that’s the case for you!! The views are breathtaking and it’s definitely a must visit if you’re a thrill seeker! I wouldn’t say it is the best observatory in NYC but it’s worth a visit for the views!

Hands down the best observatory deck in Manhattan. No constructed view, decent seating areas to keep from the wind. Also nice shop section inside the building to buy a memento. I like the fact that the location is very strategic, near the vessel and the river, offering view of New Jersey. Try coming here at sunset; the view is breathtaking.

We booked tickets in advance of our trip to NY. We were booked in for 10:00. The que time was about 10 minutes when we got there. It was a clear morning when we got to the top so we had good views of city. We then upgraded our tickets and did the climb up the outside to the top of the building. It was cold but it was a great experience leaning out looking over the city. Well worth doing.

Such an unexpectedly cool experience from start to finish! Unbeatable 360 views both inside and out. The deck itself is incredible with unrestricted views from every angle, even down through the glass floor! We didn’t dine but the restaurant looked amazing, and is the perfect place for a drink at the bar. I’ve done all the observation decks in nyc, but this is by far my fave. If you only choose one this is it!

Visited around 6.30pm on a weekend and there was no queue we went straight in. Fantastic views across to downtown and midtown, great perspective with the full height angled glass although did get some glare on some photos. Overall great experience, and great nightime views.

Great experience when visiting Hudson Yards on the upper west side of NYC. The wait wasn’t too long because we purchased tickets beforehand and they have time slots for each group to go up. While waiting they have this interactive experience where they show you all about the Hudson Yards project. It’s pretty cool. Once you’re up at the observatory deck (100 floors up), the views are breathtaking. You’re literally on top of the city. I definitely recommend touring Edge!!

The experience at Edge was great! I went alone, but the company of others was engaging. The views of the city were breathtaking. I didn't experience the cafe, but I will try next time. It's inside a beautiful mall. It's worth it to get the membership if you plan to go more than twice a year. I will return for a sunset view. The Hudson Yards experience was an afternoon well spent!

The best view of New York from the height of 101 floors. It's better to buy a ticket online, it's faster and a little cheaper. A high-speed elevator will take you to a height of ~300 meters in about 10 seconds. The view opens onto Manhattan, starting from the Brooklyn Bridge and ending far beyond Central Park. Very very beautiful. There is a triangle of glass floor from where you can look straight down. Too many people unfortunately

Oh my god the view was soooo beautiful, I saw straight down, and also I saw so many beautiful buildings and places to the point I was in awe! The river added some really nice photos! No regrets needed for this one! The price was good but there were a lot of people

Waiting time.. Came on a weekday it took us 10 minutes to reach the top. The place was not crowded so you can enjoy the inside view and the outside. It took us about 1/H and 30 minutes from start to end. Price.. $47 for adults we booked for 5:40 Pm price will increase if you book around sunset. Great atmosphere at the top where you can see Manhattan from all sides. Also, you can enjoy shopping after the tour in the Hudson Yard mall in the building.

Gorgeous view of the City! It is cool and scary to stand on the glass bottom area. Giving it less stars as we have been to all the observatories, if we had to choose just one- would recommend going to the Summit Vanderbilt though.

  • 5/5 Justin N. 2 years ago on Google
A breathtaking view of the city. I bought tickets online ahead of time. The walls of the elevator going up to the deck are covered with monitors that shows a small presentation of the city before reaching the top. The top has a bar and a restaurant (I did not check out the restaurant). The view was amazing even though it was cold. My only complaint would be that I could see the elevator presentation riding down could give some motion sickness (the video shows a fly through video of New York like you’re Spider-man himself).

We went this evening during “sunset hours”. “Sunset hours” are an additional $10 on top of the admission fee. The space was beautifully done and the sunset view over NJ was breathtaking! Obviously we were there during “peak hours”, so it was very crowded and hard to get a perfect picture of NYC. Overall it was a good experience, but I would recommend to try and go when it may not be as busy.

I rarely give 5 stars. The Edge is cool. The whole redeveloped area has many shops and eateries. And to walk along this high rise platform is thrilling. I did nighttime. But day is great. A sight to see.

Such beautiful and magical view of manhattan! edge is the highest open air/space and unique experience in New York City you can have. Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Rainy, Foggy, any season and anytime you can imagine, you will enjoy being on top. Best way to not wasting your time is, get your tickets online directly from their website, have your proof of vaccination and ID, walk in, pass the security, scan your ticket, don’t forget to look around 😁😁 take the sexy elevator 🛗 and listen what you hear 👂. The only thing I didn’t like is: photography part 😅 very low quality, fake photoshop and such a waste of paper, printer and ink. I do not recommend to anyone. shopping place on top is pretty and great, don’t waste your money for photography, buy something from shopping center and have it as a memory. here’s my recommendation for people: * if you are taking your loved ones 👩‍❤️‍👨, get sunset tickets with champagne 🥂 🍾 and create a outstanding memory. * If you are planning to enjoy the view with family (group of 4-5ppl) get morning tickets. * If you are a tourist and want to see a real magic 🪄 of Manhattan, get evening tickets with drinks 🍹.

Awesome 360 views of the city! Make a reservation, I suggest earlier in the morning less crowded. You will want to enter through the mall to get to the sky deck. The deck has a gift shop and bar area which was neat!

One of the best viewpoints you’ll find in the world having been up many different places. Would recommend checking the sunset time and aiming to go up 30 mins before so you can see daytime, the sunset and night time New York. It is crowded but it is a big space so you can always find a good view point. The day I went there was no waiting time

I went to the skyline view. The view is spectacular, and they immerse you in a whole experience on your way up to the deck. Staff was great with us. The day we booked happened to be foggy so they let us replace our tickets with no cost. I haven’t been to other sky decks but people say that the edge sky deck is more fun than other ones.

Entrance is located within a shopping centre at Hudson Yard. An impressive building with sustainability at its core. What makes this experience different is that you not only have great views but also the opportunity to walk out on a ledge over part of New York, which is 102 floors below you. Timed tickets need to be obtained outside the entrance to the experience. You will not be disappointed!

Mind blowing! Such an elevated experience. They have great cocktails. They have a small cafe as well. I loved there summer bloom floral decorations. I would definitely recommend to go check that out.

Visiting The Edge in New York City was a truly awe-inspiring experience that left me captivated by its breathtaking views and unmatched beauty. It offered a unique perspective of this iconic city. The moment I stepped onto the observation deck of The Edge, I was greeted with a panoramic view that took my breath away. The 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the sprawling cityscape, iconic skyscrapers, and famous landmarks. The architectural marvel of the building itself only added to the experience, with its sleek, modern design seamlessly merging with the surrounding The Edge provided an immersive experience like no other. I marveled at the feeling of being suspended in the air, as the glass floor extended out from the building, giving me a vertigo-inducing sense of floating above the city. It was thrilling to walk along the edge of this architectural masterpiece, taking in the unmatched beauty of New York City from such a beautiful view. The Edge also impressed with its impeccable service and amenities. The staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and ensured a smooth and enjoyable visit. The facilities, including the well-maintained observation decks and comfortable seating areas, made the experience even more pleasant. The Edge delivers an extraordinary experience filled with awe and wonder. The stunning views, unique design, and exceptional service make it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a mesmerizing and unforgettable encounter with the beauty of New York City.

This seems to be the best view deck, but it isn't. This top view deck has the highest view possible in NYC, but if you want the best view is on top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center. It is 40 dollars to get into the Edge, but if you reserve in the Peak Restaurant and consume more than 40 dollars, you can enter the Edge for free. I like the service in the Peak, Annie, our bartender was amazing. But still, if you want the best picture showing the Empire State, The One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge, The Statue of Liberty and part of Jersey City, and even the Edge, the Top of the Rock is the best one. But the Edge is a good place to visit and is recommended.

The Edge is a amazing attraction that provides an incredible view of lower Manhatten. Although there were a lot of people during our visit, it never felt too crowded or uncomfortable. Our visit lasted two hours, but we could have easily stayed longer, just examing the New York city skyline. The visit was well worth the price of admission.

  • 5/5 Rachel A. 8 months ago on Google
Beautiful views and overall experience! It's probably one of the best rooftop views of the city! The experience from when you enter the event, including the elevator ride to the observation deck is fantastic! I went during the day, which was great, but a visit in the evening would be way better!

I thought it wouldn’t be worth the money but for me it was worth the money. Going to the edge was a cool, unique, and strange experience. Not only would I go back again but I would put it on my to go list when I have friends and family visiting NYC. FYI, I would suggest going at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time so you have ample time to find parking if your driving. Don’t end up like me that payed double the price for rushing and parking at a garage.

This is an amazing experience to have as a family or if you feeling a bit romantic. The excitement and anticipation as you move towards the entrance of the edge. They have a lot to offer and is worth every expensive cent spent. The building itself is a masterpiece and you should see the show and tell they have on the construction and how the building functions…….. and then you step outside. Go at dusk to experience a bit of daylight and the the beautiful views as the night sky lights up. If you had a choose between the Empire State Building and the Edge, hands down the Edge every time as you have the Empire State in the background of the pics you will take. What you waiting for book it now..

Nice place but the reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because there are quite a few similar places in New York as well as in other cities and I have been to quite a few of them. It is no longer a unique experience although the flower arrangement was beautiful and the open sidewalk too. The lines for returning back to the ground are long and tiring especially for us older people. Since this was our second experience on a glass floor we were prepared and able to walk on it without getting scared unlike our first time in Calgary.

Recently had the chance to visit The Edge, the view is truly majestic. It’s by far one of the best views I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s the perfect opportunity to see all New York City front aboveboard 🗽 If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend buying yours ticket online before arriving to the Edge, it’s a great way to save time and money, especially during peak travel season.

Amazing experience. The panoramic views are spectacular! 1100 feet above NYC. 50 feet higher than the Empire State Building. Very smooth and fast elevator experience with a time lapse video. The sky deck Outdoor area is beautiful and not at all crowded. Full bar service is available with cocktails priced at a very greedy $20. Nice shaded tiered sitting area with plenty of seating to enjoy the southern view. The staff throughout this experience were absolutely amazing! Very cordial, polite and informative. Great attitudes. Time slot tickets (1 hour window) are $38 for adults & $33 kids ages 6-12. Other ticket options available. Definitely worth doing.

Wanted to check out the city from above so I was debating between One World, Top of the Rock, Empire State Building, and the Edge observatories. Ended up picking the latter because it’s in the newest building quite high up with a good view of the city next to other cool sights around Hudson Yards. I’m glad I did :) There a cool light exhibit that gives a very brief intro of the Hudson Yards area as well as the building itself. It’s a popular attraction that gets very busy so plan your time accordingly. Gives a great view of the city with a triangular glass pane on the floor looking directly down. Definitely use one of those city passes to save some money.

Night was foggy, super cold, long lineup but we manage to take some pics, it was a quick stop. It's nice to have a few stops for pics, the floral swing was beautiful, the worker at the wing super friendly and helped us for pics. We took some pics and quickly left. It was so busy. Good to do a quick stop and that it. I would say summit was way better.

Amazing view. I will recommend it highly. It feels much better than the other skyscrapers such as Empire State or Sears tower. Best time to visit is during sunset. Make sure you buy tickets online in advance. Onspot price is 25% higher.

We did The Climb at the Edge and had a great time. The views and experience were incredible and the professionalism of the staff helped to calm any nerves (mostly) before we essentially hung off a skyscraper! As we had just been at the very top we didn’t actually spend much time on the Edge viewing deck, but it was very spacious and no where near as crammed with tourists as Summit One Vanderbilt. Though it was a Monday so maybe that was why? Anyways, an absolute must if you’re visiting NYC. 👏🏼

I had an absolutely amazing experience seeing The Edge in New York and doing the City Climb! The Edge's stunning panoramic views of the city are truly breathtaking, and it's an exhilarating feeling being on the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. The modern architecture and glass floor panels added to the excitement, making it a truly unique and unforgettable experience. As for the City Climb, it was an adventure like no other. Scaling the iconic skyscraper the feeling was both thrilling and surreal. The guides made sure we were safe throughout the climb, and the whole journey was well organised and smooth. From the top, the city looked like a dazzling wonderland, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and awe. It's an activity that pushes your boundaries and rewards you with unmatched views of the city's skyline. Overall, I highly recommend both The Edge and the City Climb to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in New York City. It's an absolute must do, and the memories of these adventures will stay with me forever.

Great views of the city, but long lines to get in and to get out diminish the experience. The glass floor was cool but was very scratched up, so it wasn't very clear. There is a flower room which reminded me of the Summit at Vanderbilt but on a much smaller scale. Great views of the other skyscrapers in town. We've been to three of five observation decks, this one was my second favorite (Summit) is number one.

Absolutely stunning experience! We had a great time doing the Edge. Our NY born friends were great guide and helped everyone feel comfortable during the tour. We were able to take pictures and have a good time without feeling rushed. Worth every penny and one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Stunning photo shoot location. Better than the khalifa itself i think because you can have the best building in the picture.
