6 hour wait to get Rapid Covid test. S I X H O U R S 830 am - 230pm

This place is fraudulently trying to overcharge services and copays. The insurance clearly states the price and they doubled that, they put the burden of proof on you to call the insurance, the staff are utterly clueless and useless robots trying to scam you out of money. Avoid this fraudulent ridden chain at all costs.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to such a terrible urgent care facility. The workers are incompetent and seriously couldnt care less about you or your well being. Not one “health care professional” could treat me properly which resulted in me going back 3 other times, none of which giving me any good answers or proper treatment. Find somewhere else to go. Rude, unprofessional, unqualified. Best thing they did for me was refer me to a primary care physician because they couldn’t figure it out themselves. If you need to get ur temperature taken then that’s the best they will provide you with. Took my blood pressure with my jacket on and belittled me for wanting to get tested for mono because there was no “medical reason”. Appalling and despicable service. ANYWHERE else.

2 starts as opposed to 1 only because the front desk staff and the medical assistants are great - professional and friendly. the level of medical care is appalling. I complained of a sore throat and a sinus congestion - didn't even get examined. frankly i feel like complaining about this facility to my insurance plan.

I give this place 1 Star because there is no Option for NO stars !! This place is horrible , The front desk staff are rude and unprofessional , Not to mention the 300+ LB lady that works at the end of the desk thinks that because she weighs 300+ LBS that she is intimidatingly !! I was Talking to the office manager and all she did was stare at me and continuously roll her eyes as if I was directing convo her way !! I called to find out about Covid Testing and was told to come down and put my name on the list being that I was at work . I left early for my lunch break just to put my name on this List just to be told when I GOT THERE THAT THEY STOP ADDING NAMES TO SAID LIST AT 9AM !! I know there is no CAP to how many people they see daily I will be reporting this location to the State as they do receive State funding . Now here is the kicker !! As im leaving this TRASH location there was a women outside with 2 small children in a stroller ( she was also told to come and put her name on the list) but when she got there the man at the door turned her and her small children away because she was not there at 8am and they " Stop adding names to said List at 9am" !!! This place needs to be shut down or the need to be taken over with new emplyees

Wow! An unexpected injury while in NYC led me to search for an urgent care center the following day when realizing my wound was deeper than I thought. This location was right around from my hotel and got mostly positive reviews. I was hoping that would be the same for me. I arrived shortly after opening on a Monday morning only finding about 6 other patients, all in for COVID testing in the waiting room. I can tell you the waiting room is not designed for social distancing as the chairs were close together, but it looked very clean. I was having issues with the kiosk and a nice girl came over to assist. My wait was super short. I was taken back, examined and then wound cleaning, bandaged and tetanus shot by Heather assisted by both a male and female. They all were amazing, including the girls at the kiosk and the front desk! Friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. I was in and out within 25 minutes. I would recommend this location for your urgent care needs.

Front desk staff was rude, i arrived at 5:10 after getting off of work. They stated that they were no longer taking any patients 2 hours before closing. Very disappointed, what are y'all purpose if you are not taking patients

12/05/2022 visit: when I walked in stating I was very sick barely able to speak could not lift my head up the person at the desk said “do u have a mask?, do you have ID?” No concern about my condition. While in the exam room the “nurse” sat in front of her computer as I’m throwing up in a bucket she was silent and did nothing. Doctor walks in after u repeat that I’m nausea dizzy etc. he said “u need to go hospital because u might being having a stroke later he said it could be bleeding in brain after I said no I’m not going to hospital he leaves comes back in and ask “do u want an EKG” throughout this craziness that “nurse” just sat there doing nothing. Later doctor return request I sign form that I refuse ER.

We visited here yesterday because my daughter was complaining of UTI symptoms. Illness is never easy, especially when traveling out of state. However, the staff at this location is incredible. They were quick and helpful, and everything in the office is modern and super clean. They tested her urine and had results back in minutes. They helped me locate the nearest pharmacy to call in the prescription. We saw Dr. Wagoner and he was wonderful at making my daughter feel comfortable, as was the entire nursing staff.

Went in @ this location to inquire about flu vaccines…since I was in the neighborhood…I decided to go in-for my vaccine…receptionist needed to check in the back, to see if they had the vaccine for SENIORS…one of the front desk receptionist decided to go to the back to make sure they had the serum…I waited and waited, the young man was busy chatting and laughing in the back, while I was standing @ the desk, waiting , waiting & waiting, for a response….the lady @ the front desk was extremely rude…I-got so fed up with their unprofessional behavior, that I walked out…. I worked in the medical profession for 37 years and I NEVER treated a patient the way I was treated….this is one location that I will NOT refer patients to…your staff needs to take classes on how to treat patients….

I came in after injuring my ribs and was seen quickly and kindly, X-rays and all, about 45 mins. Thank you!

The facilities were extremely clean and I had almost zero wait before being seen. Every single person I interacted with was kind, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend this location.

The doctor unwilling to do her job...routine blood work that I have been doing for years in other City MD branches she refused to do.. she had no idea what she was doing... unqualified.. Bad communication, lacking basic social skill..first time encountering such a grandiose MD.

Got in for COVID rapid and PCR tests within a half hour... But it's been 7 days since my PCR test (results expected within 3-5days and I can't get any answers on my results. Tried calling the Aftercare team multiple times and sat on hold for a half hour and no one ever picks up, the line eventually disconnects. Tried emailing today, they first told me to call, and then after relaying my experience they asked for my full name and DOB.... And now 6 hrs later, still no response from them either. I will be in contact with unvaxd individuals this coming week and need to know ASAP if I am a risk to them (they cannot get vax'd due to age). I only went to CityMD because the mobile COVID testing truck had been having technical issues that day and was unavailable - hopefully will not need to use this location again.

Kathryn has no integrity to be a doctor. Imagine going to a doctor with a sore throat, and she walks in and tell you “suck it up, everybody get some virus these days, and they don’t know what it is.” Without even take a look at anything, just let you go without any treatments or proper answers. Some of the doctors here do not have the integrity to be doctors. Horrible.

Great location and great workers. If you have thin veins the doctor here will be able to get ahold of them. No collapsing or rolling. So have no fear, when you are here.

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. My son needed a shot and his doctor was very nice and put him at ease. I would definitely recommend this place to others in need.

I have visited this facility a few times in the past couple of years and every time the staff have been fantastic. The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring, and their staff kind and compassionate. Everything runs efficiently with only a short wait (if any) to be seen.

Complete idiots. Wouldn’t even let me talk to a real doctor. Sent here for symptoms after er ruled not an emergency, no help with headache or nausea, nothing for acis reflux. What can they do besides giving me a concussion evaluation when i was clear i already had one confirmed seeing a specialist for weeks. If you want help dont go here

My son received excellent care at the CityMd on Fulton Street (on a Sunday!) for a broken wrist. Dr. Rex Waggoner provided an accurate diagnosis as well as proper treatment for the fracture. We followed up with HSS for ongoing care after the CityMd visit and were informed that the split that was put on by Dr Waggoner was put on extremely well. We also appreciated Dr. Waggoner’s pleasant demeanor. Thank you!

Great Service with some concerns. Last one disappointing. Based on EKG they were ready to send me to ER ASAP with concerns about my heart. Two Cardiologist confirmed it was nothing. This is concerning.

I had a good experience here. My only complaint is that I needed an X-ray, and they must've been backed up (although there seemed to be few people there) because there was a 45 minute wait for that.

Dr, Weinstein was great and his medical assistant who helped take care of me this morning. I was seen within about 6-7 mins and I was out within 20 mins all together. Clean place and receptionists are kind too. They acknowledge you and everyone treat the patients with respect, I’m glad because I came from Staten Island. Thank you every individual for your service!

When I went to City MD, it was to get the flu shot. I was in and out of City MD in no time. Thank you very much again and enjoy the night.

This is a very efficient and professional medical clinic. They are timely and kind to their patients. I would bring my family here for urgent care.

I came across 3 staff members when I went it for a flu shot. They were all really friendly and helpful. Wait time was not long either.

I came this location for a quick test and the medical assistant went in my file and cancelled my medicine subscribed by another CityMD for an ear infection. I was waiting to pick up my prescription from nearby CVS. Once, I made it to the CVS, they informed me the ‘doctor’ cancel it. I’m like the doctor cancelled it?! How could that be? I received a text message saying pick up was ready and then I received a second message stating it was cancelled. The pharmacist told me to call, City MD and I called the operator and they said ‘Daisy’ cancelled it. I never experience anything like this before. The staff seems very lackadaisical about the situation. I don’t recommend this location.

Kristin Langford refused to prescribe emergency epilepsy medication, even with evidence of prior prescription and warning symptoms of incoming seizure. Note, the reasoning was not that it was beyond her jurisdiction to do so, but that she simply did not feel “comfortable.” With a background in aesthetics (botox, fillings, etc.), I’m not sure of the experience with medications and actual treatment beyond extremely basic urgent care triaging — e.g., I tripped and need a band-aid. Would not recommend this as an urgent care.

No star is terrible the personal and the guy who thinks he the owner I just wanted to punch him in the face and let him wait 5 hours outside when they had empty chairs inside plus they said they closed at 8.00pm. But they really closed and 1.00pm. Maybe someone should look at there payroll and find out what happening plus 4 n.y.pd.off duty cops came in at 1.00pm. And they were serve without even making a line plus they were technically closed so please upper management take a look at this.....horrible

Tired of their stupid emails. It says that I’ve been there recently but I wasn’t there. Stop sending emails 500 times a day if you want a good feedback

I visited this facility seeking medical attention due to severe throat pain, accompanied by redness and white spots in my throat. Upon consultation, the attending doctor concurred that something was amiss. Another physician swabbed me for Covid, flu, and strep, and sent samples for testing. Despite the test results returning negative, the doctor acknowledged that something was still wrong based on their examination. Patients are required to pay a $100 co-pay, yet I believe the city MD facility should improve its patient care standards. When I voiced my concerns and dissatisfaction, I was informed that I would need to pay for a reevaluation, which I find unjust considering the persistence of my symptoms. Subsequently, my primary doctor confirmed that I indeed had strep throat. Even though the tests at city MD were negative, I expected the doctor to provide some form of treatment. It is disheartening to witness paying patients being treated in such a manner. Healthcare facilities should prioritize patient well-being and strive to offer effective and empathetic care, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary attention and support they require.

This is the worst place to go to if you’re sick. They give no medical attention and it’s sad.

Extremely prompt and courteous. Everyone spoke to me nicely. And the technician was very skilled. I did not feel the needle at all and afterwards I didn’t bruise.
