IF YOU ARE BEING SEEN BY PA KATHRYN WERRELL, YOU SHOULD ASK TO BE SEEN BY SOMEONE ELSE. I don't write reviews often, but I was so disgusted in my service from PA Kathryn Werrell that I decided I needed to let people know to try to avoid her. Hopefully one of these reviews gets to her and she tries to change. I came in because my tonsils/throat were hurting and I suspected that it was mono or strep. An assistant asked about what is bothering me and took notes and my vitals. First, PA Kathryn Werrell looked at my tonsils and knew that they were in bad shape. Next, I got tested for strep which came out to be negative. This is where PA Kathryn Werrell started to be rude, dismissive, and condescending. I asked, "could it be mono"? Instead of acting like a medical professional and explaining why it could or couldn't be mono and if we should test for it, she responds "I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE. DO YOU WANT A TEST?" Um, I didn't know I has to make a medical decision here without any other context just because I asked a very valid question. I ended up saying yes to be safe and that also came back negative. She decided to give me antibiotics to treat strep, which I was a bit confused about since my strep test came back negative. I tried to ask about details about taking the medication, but it was SO clear she did not want to give me any of her time to answer my questions. This was honestly quite disheartening because I love how doctors can articulate knowledge so that a layperson like me can better understand my health and what is going on with my body. I actually had to read all about what I was taking online and ask my friends who are in medicine. The real kicker was when I asked if I could be given something for comfort since I was in pain. Her answer? "Oh, do you want me to pull out my magic wand and make you feel better???" Again, I asked a valid question and was met with an extremely unnecessary attitude. I really just had to wonder "what does she think she gains from being rude like that?" I really wanted to level with her and asked "why are you being so rude to me?", but she was in a position of power over me since she had knowledge that I wanted access to. Looking at Yelp, there is already a 1-star review specifically about PA Kathryn Werrell. I want to reiterate that I am writing this to warn other people to stay away from PA Kathryn Werrell. Hopefully, she can change one day to better serve those in need.

The Doctor I saw was condescending and arrogant. Rich Park he ain’t. His assistant with a “I hate myself” attitude was insufferable. The receptionists were very polite and professional. But, no more storefront medicine for me. Hey, maybe they’ll lose the lease and a martial arts studio will put it to good use.

My daughter called and asked if they took our insurance and they said yes. She went for an annual physical and all went will until the bill came, and insurance would not pay it. They continued to harass my daughter with bills, while at the same time did not answer their phones and in person told my daughter she had to fight with corporate. In the end, my daughter paid this bill against my advice, so CityMD won this fight but not the war, because not all member of my family are told DO NOT GO HERE. Although the care if fine, the billing department is not existent if there are issues, like my daughters paperwork no submitted properly. I highly recommend going elsewhere unless an emergency and expect to pay out of pocket, because they fib about accepting insurance.

The staff was ok. The doctor was very rude. I have only been there one time before this last visit and the doctor asked with a very rude tone “now for what are you here?” She was acting like I have been there a million times before. I think behaving properly is part of her job and people have the right to be there as much as they feel they need it. I would never go there for anything, seems like the doctor simply does not want to see patients. Please, if the staff behaves decently why can’t the doctor behave properly? If she doesn’t like her job she should be something that doesn’t require her to meet with people.

It's the LACK OF FOLLOW-THRU!!! The ONLY saving grace there was the office manager. I feel certain the upfront staff is too inexperienced to have have knowledge of how to diffuse situations and just make up things rather than asking questions. LITERALLY went there and stated that since I had been calling repeatedly, AND a Doctor, lab tech, hadn't had the DECENCY to call me regarding my lab results, I wanted to see the office manager. She, receptionist in the front with EXTREMELY low cut shirt, stated that there wasn't an office manager... QUE literal office manager stepping out from the back 🙄. He was gracious and apologized for the lack of communication. He explained the process...the lab, etc, holds the report until the patient contacts them... I left feeling better... GUESS WHAT???! I call the place that did my medical test and was told that my results were sent to a Dr. Catherine Werrell at CityMD. I call CityMD AGAIN and ask to speak to said doctor... Different receptionist, British accent(?), tells me she can't tell me when the doctor will be in because it's against privacy rules...????? The randomness of their made up rules, compared to other clinics, are ridiculous. I'm checking my insurance charges to make CERTAIN they didn't bill me for retrieval or delivery of results that they REFUSE to share with me, the patient... Be CAREFUL with these new age medical providers.

Dr. Laurel Edmundson had me pay $300 for a COVID related visit which was supposed to covered fully by insurance because she billed it as Emergency visit. It was impossible to reach the customer service. What a scammer! Stay away from this clinician Lauren Edmundson

Staff here are wonderful! I've been here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience with the staff and Dr. Reddy. He has always been professional, knowledgeable, respectful, kind and gentle. This place can get very busy. The building's A/C sucks but that's not the company's fault. It's a good neighborhood go-to when you need something checked out fast.

We were visiting the city and our child needed medical attention on a Sunday afternoon. This was the closest urgent care and I am so glad it was. The staff and medical team were amazing- nice, professional, and efficient. We were in and out in about an hour and our kid walked out with 6 stitches.

I wish all other City MD's would follow this one. I arrived at 8:30 AM to take a covid test. Instead of having us freeze in line outside, they took down our phone # and texted us when it was almost our turn. A 4-5 hour wait turned into a 30 minute wait, inside. Staff were courteous and friendly despite having to repeat themselves over and over again that they weren't doing walk-in appointments.

I'de advise to just get your tests done and leave. Unless you want to risk a one minute stop in by a condescending doctor who feels the need to lecture you on why you shouldn't have come in and are just being overly fearful.

Physician was Extremely rude and unprofessional. He barely examined me, had a preconceived notion I was there for antibiotics, which I wasn’t. I just wanted to know what was going on. He barely examined me, and then told me there was nothing wrong with me yet gave me a prescription for steroids and cough medicine which I did not use by the way. I would suggest some training for this very unprofessional individual.

I walked into the Chambers St branch from an accident in the street and was seen very promptly. Received some stitches right away and advice for follow up. Over the following days, I was scheduled for x-rays and cat scans. Follow-up was very prompt and efficient. Very happy with the level of care and consultation.

Went in for a PCR Covid test. Had a 6-hour wait the previous day and missed my turn, so decided to get there early to make the front of the virtual line the next morning. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly, and Dr Ramzan is the coolest! Test barely took 10 minutes.

Just went to this City MD - and the staff went above and beyond to help me figure how can I travel outside the country with the appropriate tests results for Covid. They even googled which test I need. I was astonished how great everyone was. Great job. The staff and the one who hired them should be proud of themselves.

I was given inadequate service. The workers there should not be working in the medical field. They’re very unprofessional. They did not provide any type of help at all. I was told I’d be given a referral, those idiots didn’t even give one.

I don’t know why I need to be seen by a doctor for a COVID test. The doctor won’t even the person who performed the test and all she did was asked me 3 questions. This is their way of making money . Instead of billing the insurance for just the test. This is one reason why the insurance fee keeps increasing. Unnecessary service

DR.SATISH REDDY is hands down the most unprofessional, rude, vile excuse for a doctor I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with in my 22 years of life. I had a contact eye issue that I needed examined and after looking at my eye with a mirror for 2 careless seconds (something I could've done at home myself AND came with a copay of $75), he decided himself there was no issue or no contact present after I repeatedly expressed discomfort and pain. When I asked him to check again, he touched my face and eye so roughly that I visibly jumped back and again expressed my discomfort. THEN AGAIN HE PROCEEDS TO TOUCH MY EYE WHILE BOTH HANDS WERE VIOLENTLY SHAKING, and says there's "nothing". When I continued to ask questions about solutions and what to do since my eye still hurt and no contact was ever found (and I know for a fact there was one there), he goes "I'm done now" and storms out the room. The technician and I were horrified. Literally just looked at each other in awe and then she proceeded to profusely apologize for his behavior. Never go to CityMD, Tribeca. If you ever come across Dr. Satish Reddy in a medical environment, RUN,

I took my mother there, and the entire staff—medical and administrative—was outstanding. The physician assistant, Lisa Altin, and her team of medical assistants were incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive to my mother's medical needs. For instance, the staff right away made arrangements for a necessary radiology test to be performed at another hospital on the same day after learning from my mother that she had fallen at home a few days earlier (even I only learned about it!). Additionally, they offered immediate follow-ups, such as phoning me following my radiological session, contacting me by phone and email regarding my mother's medicine prescriptions, and calling me to discuss the lab findings from the day of the visit. I've always been a patient there as well, and
