By far one of the worst places I have been, they made me so uncomfortable, and I feel discriminated against because of one your thirsty employees flirting with my kids father! She was a receptionist she had blonde hair and was a big girl. They wouldn't let me go in the back with my fiance, while they let another couple go back together. After I went and sat down the two big girl receptionist huddled together talking secretly then the desperate blonde went to the back trying to gain my man's attention. My fiance was a patient there earlier today getting his finger x-rayed Damein Pendleton. So that she knows exactly who I am. She better hope I don't come back in there.

The doctor I saw was fairly rude. She never asked if I had any questions and when I did, she answered them with a rather condescending attitude. Several times she and the technician just left the room without explanation and when they were in the room, they were unhelpful and unaccommodating. Even after my consult was over, I had almost no information on what my next steps were or how to continue self-care at home. The only people in my entire visit whom I truly felt had any desire to help the patients were the receptionist and X-ray technician.

Dr. Talat and Assistant were extremely professional and accommodating. They were very patient and worked through a procedure with me very carefully. I am not the kind of patient most doctors would appreciate because of my low pain tolerance but I felt like I was in good hands with these practitioners and they were very very reassuring and kind.

I visited CityMD while I was traveling to NYC from out of state. I had been having cold symptoms and a sore throat and I didn’t want to return home without knowing if I had COVID or strep. Our train was scheduled to leave around 1pm so I needed somewhere open, efficient, & hopefully good. I was impressed with CityMD. Very clean & up-to-date facility. Staff was approachable & kind. Wait time was minimal. I got in & out in plenty of time to make our train. And even got one of two of my test results back while still in the office. Definitely a positive experience.

Front desk has a bunch of girls gossiping and fooling around. The checkin process was easy but waiting room was disorganized. They have a long wait time and they dont give you approximate wait time. The PA that greeted me was cold and spoke so low I could hardly hear her calling my name. I think her name was Sally, she rushed the intake process and was disheveled between blood pressure and pulse , I didn’t come at a late hour. The chair had old wax paper rolled from last patient. Her tone is rude in terms of questions of reasons for visit. The Dr ( dr tara?) refused to give me antibiotics that I typically use with no bad history, that was whole reason for visit. She said my cold was still in its first day and said my throat wasn’t bad, meanwhile my throat was on fire. I had to beg for prescription strength sudafed and had to demand steroid nose spray (it was obvious that I sounded congested so clearly saline spray wouldn’t be strong enough). I would come back here since its close to my job but I would ask for different staff members next time.

Nicest people at this CityMD. I took my mom there for a quick checkup but unfortunately they had to refer us out for a CT scan. Their associate Linden? went above and beyond to make sure that the lab of our choice was able to see us right away and helped us schedule an appointment. I like the people there a lot more than my primary care doctors office.

We reached out just before 30 minutes of closing to get help for my daughter sickness. Still they helped us. They searched nearby pharmacy which operating till 9pm / open 24 hrs to pickup medicine, shared phone number of pharmacy to check with them as we were in vacation in NYC and the city is not familiar for me. Nurses, Front desk staff are really kind. They are best.

Horrible experience. Attentions if you are a traveler because it’s a waste of time. The doctor said she will prescribe a med for my sickness but later when I went to my pharmacy it’s not there. Called the front desk and they said they can’t give me the med and has absolutely no idea about why. Also the front desk is extremely rude on phone, they yell at patient and cut the call in the middle.

Wow. Great experience. Was leery about using vs going to my primary care doctor. I had a really bad cough and couldn’t wait to be seen by my pcp. Walked in, saw a nurse and doctor within 10 minutes. Diagnosed, script and on my way. Walgreens across the street filled my script which is so convenient. Absolute professionals and very convenient to my work location.

From booking appointment to attending was a first class treatment. Dr was kind caring and compassionate. If you are sick this is the place to be cared for!

Staff was nice, but the doctor started talking over time the second he asked what was wrong. Then did a 10 second exam and told me to take Advil. Could’ve done that myself.

Had an urgent issue with one of my medications and I was not only seen with minimal wait times, but also received exceptional care. Would highly recommend!!!

Came here with an abdominal pain - very little wait time, exam with a blood test and a same day follow up. Was a good experience for me.

Tried to charge me the fee for a provider visit just to receive a flu shot - that’s not something I’ve seen at any other provider. Go to the Duane Reade across the street and get your flu shot for free

They are liars. I wanted them to sign a physical form that I needed for my TLC license. Basically just to say that I'm physically able to drive a car, and it took the doctor less than a minute to do so. Before going in, I asked the receptionist how much it will cost me, and she said it will be all covered by my insurance. Now I recieved a $254 bill! for one miute of their time. I definitely wouldn't go there if I knew beforehand. I don't recommend them to anybody!

  • 1/5 David P. 1 year ago on Google
The front desk is dishonest about billing. They charged me 3 hidden fees. They specify the cost of any testing but omit that there will be a visit fee as well as other fees that the doctor will bill. I don't recommend visiting this clinic unless you want to walk away with a lot of fees you were not made aware of before or at any point during your visit.

It was very unpleasant experience. I never met a Dr. who even wanted to listen to my issues and did not exam me properly. It took him 45 seconds to check me.

I went in for some feminine issues and the doctor assigned to me couldn’t be bothered with my issues. Other than that, the staff was nice and friendly! But the female doctor, ILL PASS!

This is the best urgent care office my family has used (and with two kids we have used several ). They are caring, thorough, and responsive. I was recently there with my daughter who was thrown by a horse and broke her shoulder bone. The doctor quickly (and as we now know) accurately assessed the damage, gave her the proper advice and equipment. Even more amazing was the receptionist Basanty Baldeo who managed to get my daughter seen immediately and in a convenient location. The pediatric orthopedist confirmed everything we were told at citymd, and it was comforting to know we had been following the correct precautions. Thank you to this whole office for the great job of cutting straight to the solutions and help we needed. Particular shout out to Ms. Baldeo. We are very impressed with this whole experience.

The managers there are incompetent. Beware. I am a doctor and sent patients over there. The requirement from these patients is to collect proof that they have indeed submitted samples. So i asked for them (patients) be allowed to take a photo of the sample with the patient’s name, DOB and the all important barcode. The manager refused citing HIPA regulations. Which is 100% incorrect since nowhere HIPA prevents patients from collecting THEIR OWN DATA. Very sad and brings to question why they are so hesitant. i.e. are they actually collecting samples properly? Sending for diagnosing properly?

After going through two citymds, one did not have rapid testing and another one had a full capacity, I started feeling hopeless. I wasn't feeling well already but decided to go to this location and the receptionists were really nice and although there was a 4 hour wait time, I got my name checked in and was able to leave and go back. Went back after 3 hours, it was a bit longer wait but it didn't matter cause I really needed to take the rapid test to make sure I was ok. The people there are super nice especially when getting my rapid and pcr test! Will definitely go back again if I need another test!

I arrived early yesterday morning too take a covid test and was informed that it was a 8hour wait to see anyone. I gave the receptionist my name and number and never was contacted. I never received a text to acknowledge that I was even on a wait list.

This was my first visit to one of your facilities and from the moment I walked in I was impressed with the staff the cleanliness the ease with which I could check in. The staff is exceptionally friendly and these are people that have to deal with the public when the public is under duress. I was ushered into a clean examination room and moments later after I was interviewed and my blood pressure was taken the doctor came in. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable cordial and pleasant and treated me and provided me with a letter advising that I am positive with Covid. I cannot say enough about this facility and every staff member that I met including on the way out when I needed to ask for a letter stating that I had Covid. The doctor (Amanda Graziano) was out within five minutes with a form letter and signed it. You have a magic formula if all your other facilitiesAre anything like this one in New York City. The facility I visited was on 29th St. and seventh Avenue. The staff there and apparently your corporation has done an unbelievable job at a very difficult time in our country’s medical history and in a difficult city; because we all know that dealing with the public is not always easy. Whoever selected the staff for this location should get a raise.

My family and I needed to have rapid antigen test to fly back to Canada and CityMD staff were very kind and helpful to book a walk in appointment for us. Quick and easy, results come by email within the hour. Highly recommended.

This placed isn't managed well or staffed by competent people. I went here in the height of the recent omicron outbreak in January waiting outside for about an hour. When I finally made it inside the building although there was an empty seat one of the front desk workers was combative and wanted to refuse me from sitting there giving no explanation. After explaining 3 times the seat is empty why can't I sit there they finally relented. When I got to actually be seen the medical scribe took my blood pressure and thought I had an underlying problem and I chalked it up to not having drank water which he said wouldn't cause the problem. However when the oaychians assistant came in although looking flustered and overworked corrected the scribe. The main problem is the support staff here it seems as if they are improperly trained and unprepared, although working in a pandemic is extraordinary circumstances I kind of thought two years in they would have got a handle on it.

Don't seek urgent care for a problem with dermatitis unless you agree to a steroid based ointment prescription. A non-steroid cream costs $200.00 and don't expect CityMD to follow-up with you if your insurance carrier doesn't approve. People are professional and respectful; however, filling prescriptions simply don't work.

The doctor who treated me at the time was very unkind, she behaved in an unpleasant way, I feel that she is not fully trained and patient to have a patient for the first time that this has happened to me, instead it was something very sad with the treatment.

😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider.
