AVOID THIS URGENT CARE AT ALL COSTS!! Rude and incompetent doctor. DO Anisha Lashkari is a dismissive, condescending, and INCOMPETENT doctor who takes issue with parents who actually do some research into the symptoms /illness their children are experiencing. During a recent visit where we (correctly I might add) diagnosed our son with symptoms of strep throat, we brought him into City MD. During the visit she asked our son a number of questions, and given his throat was sore and swollen, my wife answered for him. This seemed to upset Lashkari, who asked to speak to my son in person because she thought my son was uncomfortable answering questions with his mother present. When my wife refused, and my son himself said wanted his mother to stay in the room, Dr. Lashkari bristled at this. Furthermore, when I went to pharmacy, the pharmacist commented that the amount prescribed per dose was very odd, and he took time to show me how much to draw into the syringe. The required amount on the bottle was 11.37ml / 2x per day. He said a typical dose for amoxycillin is 10ml dose 2x per day. This large dose per day only allowed enough medication for a 4 day regimen which did not heal the strep - and as a result, the Strep infection has returned and my son is sick AGAIN. This doctor is rude, condescending and incompetent! She failed to administer the proper antibiotics regimen to cure our son's condition. THIS DOCTOR SHOULD BE FIRED!

First of all, the MD (Mrs. Dersarkissian) who examined me did not give me a clear diagnosis to what my condition was. I had clear symptoms of seriously developed bronchitis (a viral infection), was prescribed an antibiotic, and was advised to go back to work after only two days with it in my system. After I challenged her decision asking for a longer 5-days sick leave to rest at home without having to take an antibiotic, I was told that she couldn't give me a 5-working-days sick leave, and that I would have to come back to get reexamined. She "generously" gave me 3 days of sick leave and was like: "it's up to you if you want to take antibiotic or not". After 3 days of sleeping and resting, my condition improved without having to take any antibiotic, yet I still was not fit enough to come back to an air-conditioned office environment and ended up having to work from home for the rest of the week. This is not the level of care, a sick person hopes to receive.

Avoid this office at all costs! Back in October, I was given a strep test that I was not asked for. I was told "don't worry, it's covered by insurance anyway." Turns out that was false. Now I have a $350 bill for CityMD's error that I have spent MONTHS trying to correct. No replies to email. Calling the office only refers me to a dead end "billing hotline" that it's impossible to get through to. No reply to the certified letter I sent via mail. Now I'm being threatened to have a "collections agency" come after me despite nearly 6 months of trying to reach ONE person to correct THEIR error. At this point I'll pay the unfair bill but how disgusting. This place does not care about your health - they'll just take your money. MANY better and more honest urgent care offices have popped up in the city now. Just avoid CityMD!

Doctor was extremely rude and condescending. Did not offer any solutions to my illness and after I asked him to clarify what his recommendations were, he spoke to me like I was 5 years old. Told me that he sent medication to the pharmacy but didn’t tell me which one or how to get it. I spoke to reception about the pharmacy and they had no idea how to help me and told me the doctor was already busy with another patient. Their claim of “30 minutes in and out” is also completely false. Waste of money and time.

Horrific experience. I went in with a sore throat - nothing extreme. Tested negative for everything so then had to wait 3 days for my lab culture to come back. By this point I was in excruciating pain. I got the link that I was positive for Strep but received no call from the office. After calling them 3 separate times, someone from a "care line" let me know that antibiotics weren't needed (????) Once I explained the amount of pain I was in, they prescribed THE WRONG antibiotics. My PCP was horrified that they let the infection get to this point. Negligence and carelessness - from the team that was responsible for following up, to the clinician who prescribed the wrong medicine.

The ladies at the front desk was very very nice. I have no complaints. The Doctor that I saw today is Sarah Baker, she’s is truly the sweetest doctor I’ve ever met!! She made me feel sooo comfortable with my situation, she’s very compassionate and understanding. The lady that was helping her ( I forgot her name) is very nice and understanding as well. The woman who took my blood was very nice and patient. Overall I had a great experience.

Came here for a rapid Covid-19 test; when they called, I must’ve been in the bathroom or I just didn’t hear. I sat on the dirty floor for an hour waiting and when no one called, I asked about my place in line. They put in the back of the line behind 11 people and didn’t tell me. I inquired about getting moved up and they declined despite my explanation; they were pretty rude and unapologetic. They didn’t make eye contact and were generally unpleasant. I recommend going elsewhere (especially if you have accessibility troubles or a hearing disability)

The girl at the front desk said the MAs were prepping the room, said it would be ready shortly. An hour later every patient that came after me has already left. I go to check with the front desk if they’re ready to do the test on me. Turns out the MAs had no idea I’ve been waiting. Lack of communication, employee just playing on her phone, irresponsible.

225$ bill to be told they’d do me the favor of sending my tests to the lab and see if anything was growing. I was sent home will a throat closing up, no medication, excruciating pain and discomfort.

They move so quickly, without even explaining what they were doing. They said that they were extremely busy, but no one was in the waiting room when I left the office I saw a whole bunch of employees sitting on computers in the middle of the hallway. I guess the Rush was to get patient’s out so they wouldn’t have to deal with anyone for one reason or another . I left they’re not really getting any results on how I was feeling. Not even suggestions on what to take over the counter or even asked if I wanted something for pain or discomfort. He tried to give me some thing, but I declined because he didn’t even explain what it was until I asked. After that he seen disconnected and done. In the medical field, you are to pay attention to detail in the patient and empathize with how they’re feeling when you’re moving like speed racer that’s impossible!

The doctor was fine. The first assistant was rough and rude. She yanked the blood pressure collar off of my arm, leaving a mark, and lowered the examination chair back, without letting me know, causing me to fall back (I have a bad back and have had 4 spinal surgeries. Her behavior caused a spasm). The second assistant, was fine but muttered, so I couldn't understand her. I was nervous I had COVID, so I’m glad I went but NOBODY listened to me or my symptoms.

At the NoHO location of City MD Urgent Care I was treated well and given great service. The wait to see the doctor may be a little while, but other then that I recieved great care and I was allowed to recieve a doctor's note to cover my absence for work and get treated.

The staff was very accommodating, comforting, and efficient. The nurses knew I was nervous about my accident (split my chin open) and kept me calm. They got me the first available room and was made a priority in line to see Dr. Calvin. Even though they didn't give me the stitches, the recommended Lenox Hospital to see a plastic surgeon. I appreciate them stepping back and referring me to a more refined and skilled doctor to give me the best stitching results possible. I will use this staff and City MD going forward and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs urgent care. Thank you City MD staff for the pleasant experience!

Worst place rude staff .. I came and took a rapid test and pcr both and asked for both specifically. So they did both test . The rapid came out positive for COVID . So I was waiting 3 day for the PCR TEST for my job. Never received it . I called them and they said because the rapid came out positive they did not send in the PcR . They are disgusting humans there . Stay away and go somewhere else

I got a bill of $225 without letting me know first. I didn’t order whatever it is but I was sent a bill. I tried calling the billing department but the number just puts me on hold forever. Hopefully it gets solved but just don’t go here..

Get your PCR test done here if you want a hole poked through your brain. I’ve never experienced a place that sticks a test swab so far up your nose. They’re going to wind up getting hit with a lawsuit. So disturbing their practice. Needless to say, I won’t be back!

Zero stars: I had a terrible experience at this CityMD. I came in with a minor stomach issue and was diagnosed by Dr. Mohsin Saber as having a large pulsatile mass in my stomach and was told to go to the ER right away. There was no attempt to calm me down, this doctor ignited fear in me and didn't provide any other possible explanation. Upon arrival to the ER, that doctor told me he felt nothing in my stomach, but did a cat scan anyways and there was nothing in my stomach. The CityMD doctor had zero bedside manner and sent me into a panic attack that lasted over an hour until I was seen by an ER doctor. Do not use their service.

I had a very traumatic experience: I was attacked by a rat while dining at a restaurant. the staff was very helpful and empathetic. City MD, regardless of location, has the best, most caring staff

The service and care my mother in law received at this CityMed location was exceptional. Nurse Practioner Jonathan and Dr. Tahzib took the time to thoroughly ask questions and seemed genuinely concerned about her issues. This CityMed location isn’t the closest to my mother in law’s apt but moving forward, it will be the first one she visits whenever she needs urgent care.

I went there yesterday with my mom, a 69 year old lady with 3 broken vertebras that can’t stand for long hours. I went inside explaining the lady at check in that we had an emergency (my mom was leaving to Italy and 4 hours before her departure time she had to take a rapid test within 24 hours from departure) and that my mom was old and had to go to the airport, if they could help her and do the test instead of letting her wait online in the cold. She said “no, everybody has an emergency” i explained again that my mom was old and she urgently needed to get to the airport and she said NO again. My mom spent from 5:15PM to 7:30PM outside waiting, she got her test done and at 8:30PM when she got to the airport there was still no results on top of all. I was able to talk to a customer service and begged to help us but the end of this is that my mom got on the plane shivering and while on a plane got FEVER And now she got a flu because NOBODY could be flexible and help a 69 year old lady. There are rules but there are also exceptions especially when it comes to sick, people with limited mobility or elderly. GOOD JOB!

Went here recently after taking a backwards spill on my stairs and puncturing my elbow pretty deeply, all while also stressed due to work deadlines. I can't thank the staff here enough...the PA, Alexandra, assessed my arm quickly, got it wrapped quickly but delicately, and got me over to another CityMD location with an X-ray tech straight away. That location (Financial District) was also amazing, as the got me X-ray'd ASAP and got the X-ray over to Alexandra, who was kind enough to call straight away to let me know nothing was broken. The people at both of these locations were amazing. Thank you all so much!

Been to this location multiple times. Providers and doctors are usually respectful and give you the time of day. My complaint is with the Asian male medical assistant. Cut me off multiple times on different visits and inserts his assessment very condescendingly, often retracted his word or became silent once I finished giving my history. Not necessarily unprofessional but definitely left each time feeling horrible after letting him talk down to me.

I had a very pleasant visit here — everyone was so friendly, thorough, and helpful. The nurse and doctor had great bedside manner (and senses of humor!) and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I had a follow up question for the doctor after my visit and she kindly took the time to talk to me again on the phone. So appreciative of the care I received. Thank you CityMD team! ❤️

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ...I went to citymd in NoHo because I had a sore throat they immediately tested me for STD gave me a shot put me on medication without even knowing if I had anything which I ended up not having it and didn't even put that in the email to let me know if I did or didn't have it had me worrying almost a week until I finally called to find out my results which was negative I never heard of a place putting you on medication without finding out if you have an std the doctor seem like he couldn't be bothered put the light in my mouth for two seconds and said your throat is fine but do you continue to put me on medication for something I don't have I will take this a step further and I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to citymd in NoHo very very unprofessional I think we should all get together and put in a complaint and have the medical license reviewed or maybe all of us take out a lawsuit against them they're unfit doctors working there

Clean, friendly and professional. I didn’t wait long and was treated and given a prescription, even checked to see which pharmacy was still open as it was late.

Walked in here because I had severe back pain , I could barely stand up straight and the receptionist were honestly terrible , I just started a new job so I didn’t have my insurance card or Id and that’s on me however for an urgent care center i won’t consider ever coming here again , regardless ,

Wish I could give zero stars. I went to cityMD feeling dizzy, sick and faint. They brought me to room talked to me for a minute, did nothing medical for me and then sent me a bill for $225. My insurance company said CityMD stated the visit was not urgent so the insurance company won’t pay. If CityMD classifies being sick, dizzy and feeling faint to not be urgent I’m not sure what is. Also if they don’t consider this urgent why not tell you when you get there?? I’m assuming because $225 for one minute of their time is not something they want to turn down.
