Terrible. Went there and explained my daughter was exposed to a covid positive student. my wife just had cancer surgery a few days ago so did the quick test that gives results in 15 minutes. put aside the hour wait to get tested while no one was even in the place. an hour after the test I biked back to ask and got negative results. they had not communicated results for an hour so we waited outside the apt. the staff response was "whatever". terrible place

Yes, they have an x-ray machine as advertised, but not always a tech on site who knows how to operate it. Unsuccessful visit--Yes I had an x-ray, but it was unreadable by THEIR own radiologist due to the "tech not knowing how to work it correctly" his words, not mine.. Oh and yes, I still received a whopping bill from them for this visit! Their billing department would not adjust it and sent me to collevtions.Good luc!k seeing a dime out of me! Go at your own risk/perril.

I never ever write reviews. But I just had to because this is ridiculous. I went in thinking I had a UTI. The asian doctor there told me he thinks I have appendicitis and I had to go to the ER. I told him i lost my insurance this year and currently i don’t have one and I can’t really go to the ER and to please to make sure. He insisted I had to go. 5 hours later in the ER, after they told me I don’t and they are puzzled why that doctor sent me to the ER when my urine sample and blood work is clean. I wasted bunch of money and time because this guy misdiagnosed me. This is the same doctor who told me I had a stroke when I went in for vertigo and nausea and told me to go to the Er, which I didn’t that time. He also gave my friend wrong antibiotics for two weeks when she had septic shock and she actually ended up in the ER because of it. I will never be going back here. Everyone else was professional and nice but that doctor is just incompetent.

I walked into this CityMD around 12pm this afternoon for a covid test as I have not been feeling so well and found out one of my coworkers tested positive yesterday. I had called about 15 minutes before this and was told they have tests and I do not need an appointment however, when I arrived I was turned away. The person at the desk again confirmed they had rapid tests available on hand, but told me I'd have to come back tomorrow morning. There were only about 5 people in the waiting area so I am extremely confused why I was told I would need to come back another time. No wonder covid is spreading like wildfire through the city.

This place deserves zero stars. I went there at 4pm, they told me to leave my contact and that I can only come back after I get a text from them because at the time I got there I was 21 in the line. At 6:50pm, I got a text to go there because its my turn; however, when I got to the office, there were at least 8 people there waiting and guess what, I waited another hour inside with all the sick people. So, yes, no need to mention that I was not happy. In the end, I decided to leave at 7:55pm(they close at 8pm) and I was the only person left in the hall waiting, unbelievable! What is the point of the texting if I had to wait another hour for nothing???It took me in total 4h for a rapid covid testing that I didn't get in the end. The worst!!!

The front desk staff members are incredibly rude. I say "hello"..no response. I say "excuse me"..no response. I say "I'm headed to the moon in ten minutes"..no response. Something is grumbled to me about checking in at the kiosk/machine. Machine doesn't work, I go back over to Ms. Sunshine. ...Spends an actual five minutes typing in silence while making passive aggressive sounds until I am eventually told to have a seat. Really guys? I'm here because I'm not feeling well, not because I'm looking for new friends. How about do the job you are paid to do so that I don't die while waiting to be seen...just thinking out loud here.

My doctor Staci Somerfeld was incredible. She made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as she walked in the room. She explained everything in detail to me (with no rush). Staci also happily answered all of my questions (with no rush). Probably the most pleasant doctors experience I’ve ever had! She’s amazing.

This place was amazing with our Son. He was at the playground in battery park and busted his cheek wide open. CityMD was able to get him 4 stitches and back to vacation in less than 45 minutes. The Doctor and Hunter were excellent in their bedside manners and keeping him calm and comfortable throughout the process. Thanks CityMD!

*STAY AWAY FROM* If You Value Your Health. Consistently mix up patients insurance, Names, Prescriptions. It’s been 7 days still can’t get Antibiotic sent to correct pharmacy. A one cut, finger has now turned to a gangrenous whole hand infection due to their incompetence. Went there twice, told me corrected go back home still at pharmacy 30 miles away. Waited till after weekend. Still get texts from incorrect pharmacy. Called CityMD, she couldn’t get name correct, person assumed spelling, rather than listen to what I was saying. Then tells me its at pharmacy…Back to square 1. I explain again after 2 visits, calls, & 3 Staff telling me it’s corrected, that it’s not at my pharmacy. I explain it might be corrected on file, but prescription was not shifted to correct pharmacy. Now she starts challenging me. I explain I only received texts from the incorrect pharmacy. She asks me if I went to the pharmacy to see, which is not at a convenient location, I asked her why would I go there, if I only keep receiving texts from the incorrect pharmacy they sent it to 30 miles away. All this as my finger turned black, & hand is now Green & Swollen & progressing up my wrist, due to No Antibiotics for 7 days. She becomes belligerent, & insistent even after I asked nicely, if she could please call the pharmacy to ensure it was switched to them, she asked What? I repeated and added it’s difficult for me, could she please…Her reply “Did I go to the pharmacy to check”.? (Back to Square 1). My response “ Why would I go to my Pharmacy if the incorrect Pharmacy just sent me another text it’s still waiting to be picked up. She hung up on me. I looked up the number to Costco Manhattan, called them. They confirmed it was waiting to be picked up in Queens, and they don’t have any they would need to order it, it will take a day. Another day without antibiotics, as I now developed chest pains, as pus is now oozing from my cut finger, and hole they made on the opposite side to relieve pressure. To be fair, Dr. Is excellent, but staff can cause your death, and/or destroy your finances, as they constantly mix up prescriptions, and patients insurance coverage. Worst part is they had me in Queens, with NJ Insurance. The two worst places on the planet. While I lived in Manhattan for over 60 years. STAY AWAY!

Quick in and out on a Saturday morning for an ear piercing gone haywire. Got there a few minutes before opening and waited at the Blue Bottle conveniently situated next door. Hasan and Dr. Zhang were empathetic and efficient in their services, I felt like I was in great hands. Thank you both!

I am an Army vet that lives in Fidi. There were a few times where i couldn't go all the way up to the VA hospital in midtown. CityMD has been a lifesaver for me. The staff are polite, professional, and efficient. Will be my go-to doctor in fidi for the foreseeable future.

Dr Barrett and Angel were very quick and professional when I came in. The two people at the front desk were also super helpful and friendly. I’ve been to this location a few times and will be returning in the future for urgent medical attention.

I just have to say how kind the staff is here. From the doctors to the managers to the receptionists, truly everyone is so warm and helpful. Sometimes you’ll be waiting for a while etc. but they really do their best here. Love this location

As another reviewer said, it seems like most of these 1 star ratings are from peak covid spikes. I went at noon on a Saturday for a rapid test, no line, nice and efficient staff, they called my name within minutes. Nurse did the test quick and painless, the doctor came in minutes later to make sure I had no questions and then I was out the door. Spent a total of 15 mins there and got my results emailed to me in less than 2 hours. Clean, spacious office. Maybe more crowded on work days when all the nearby office buildings are full, but on a weekend it was empty and quick!

Pretty sure all the reviews were from when the pandemic was at its peak. Front desk and staff were helpful and sweet. In and out quick and results for rapid covid test was quick.

Ratchet af office. Excuse my language. They must have hired the most uneducated people there. I went in for an appointment and felt like I was being framed for something. Not friendly. The office may look clean but the front desk definitely do not know anything about hospitality. Waited so long for a checkup. I asked for the assistant manager munham or whatever you say her name. She was clearly into looks instead of working there. This is the financial district, like come on. Completely trash

Excellent experience. Staff was kind and sincere in their care, and on-point regarding all issues and questions. The 4+ hour wait was acceptable because it was virtual. Results came back faster than predicted. Extremely convenient location.

Last appointment May2022 The provider I saw was extremely nice, careful, never made me feel rushed. I am Italian, and she really cared that I understood everything - she googled one word for me and showed me picture of a recommended medication I was not familiar with. The wait depends on how many people are there - mine wasn't long. The provider asked me lots of relevant questions, recommended me to book an appointment with a specialist - which I did. I was very happy about my last appointment!

Very clean and efficient location and check in progress. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful, check-in was a breeze and both practitioners I saw were extraordinarily professional and kind.

obscene and inhumane company. i was sent a bill in 2022 for rapid tests in early 2021. i can't appeal with my insurance company because it is "180 days" after the claim date, even though cityMD sent a bill over 14 months after the date. i am extremely upset and frustrated that cityMD is price-gouging and billing rapid tests as entire doctor visits. keep in mind this was during the time before vaccines became available, when rapid tests were free from the city. this company sees a public health crisis as an opportunity for profit. i called both cityMD and my insurance company 4 times, with no one having any accountability whatsoever. do not go here unless you want to be scammed.

Save yourself and go to the Fulton location down the street. The staff here is inept, judgey, and you’ll wait longer than an hour. Always. It’s run on a skeleton crew and they’re all low skill no skill
