This delightful delicatessen is a food lovers paradise, located in the busy Grand Central station. I had resolved not to spend much money in New York given the prices are so high these days, but I crumbled on this occasion, splashing out on some truly tempting and flavoursome tea blends, many incorporating my favourite Rooibos tea from South Africa, as well as some enticing chocolates. It was well worth the experience and next time I will return and enjoy much more. The spices, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and veg, breads, and other delicacies all look to be of excellent quality. This market is packed with flavour, tradition and exploration, expertise and adventure, colours and scents, and a real passion for quality food. Enjoy

It's a quaint and lovely market with primarily high-end goods such as spices, seafood and various cheeses. This is a great spot to pick up a little something before heading to a house gathering or BBQ. Pro-tip: Go to Bien Cuit for some delicious brownies, cookies, and other pastries!

This truly unique market, next to the busy Grand Central Station ... can be reached by either walking through the Grand Central Station's channels & main concourse or directly from 42nd street. There are lots of vendors with beautiful displays of fresh and truly tempting items for all tastes, diets and occasions. 👍😍👍 To be honest with you I was a bit overwhelmed with the variety of products on sale ... but as a true foodie loved exploring the stalls & took lots of photos; some that I'm sharing with you. 😊😍👍

Grand Central Market is a really special place. Located right there at Grand Central Station at Lexington Ave, this high end supermarket has a bit of everything, from species, caviar to aged beef, from French Macaronis to fresh fruits, from Japanese food to traditional chicken pie and lots and lots of more options. Pricy, yes! Well, it is the reality of the neighborhood… This place will waters any foodie mouth for sure. A+

This bustling marketplace offers an impressive variety of fresh produce, meats, seafood, and artisanal products, making it a one-stop-shop for all your grocery and culinary needs. The casual atmosphere and diverse selection create the perfect environment for discovering new flavors and ingredients. It's busy and beautiful. The staff are friendly most of the time. The price can be expensive in some shops, but it's worth a detour. The food looks fresh and the place is quite clean.

Incredible selection of prime meat, handmade sausage, fresh fish, artisan breads and pastries, chocolates, floral bouquets, produce, imported cheese, Italian cured meats, caviar, foie gras, loose tea blends and fine spices. How easy to swing by and grab something so wonderful for an evening meal or if dinner for two some fresh flowers. Wish it was open when I lived in Manhattan. I would have indulged regularly. Happy to go into the city often enough to make purchasing a few items a treat before getting on the train.

Really beautiful place. So I was delighted to try their salmon sushi. Ate it right away. Looked good, and rice was a bit hard, but thought nothing of it. Should of stopped eating, because I got food poisoning from it during my first trip in NYC. Not fun. I hope they rid of their bad products, so no one else gets what I got. Now I will need to spend a day laying around (in the least) of my four day trip here.
