A delightful underground surprise at 59th Columbus St subway station open till 7pm. Over 20 shops, primarily food (snacks and meal types) with multiple cuisines from Asia, Mediterranean, South America etc. but also barber shops, gardening, clothing and collectibles/accessories. Prices are decent Good place to grab a quick bite, both sweet and savory. They do have some common shops like Frankie's but most shops are unique.

Interesting space...an underground food market/marketplace set in an extension of seemingly the subway station. The "Turnstyle" decor adds to the market's appeal. A good variety of shops and food options. Expect typical NYC prices.

This underground market is a lot of potential. My fav spot is the paella burrito spot. The family is very kind and the food is so good. There's a K-pop store, Chinese food spot, perrogie spot, and so on. I wish it was larger, or we had more of these, because this reminds me of Taiwan, which is more common.

Visited on a wed afternoon, and more than half of the vendors were closed. Cool vibe and concept. Tried a Korean Hot Dog. Not my jam, but the kid liked it.

This is like a hidden treasure. Nice selection of restaurants to choose from. Either you want a burger or pizza or ramen or dumplings you get it all there. And if craving for something sweet you got that too. You can find cute little stores too where you find something for yourself or a gift for your loved ones. I love being there.

Many great shops and good variety of food. Really recommend the down under premium coffee. They’ve many vegan / plant based options sandwiches and bakery. 🫶👍🏻👏🏻 Employees are always friendly and helpful So vegan or not go there ! + the coffee is a lot better and cheaper than the Starbucks was there before

The TurnStyle Underground Market at 59th Street is a hidden gem worth exploring. Whether you're in need of a quick bite, a caffeine fix, some trendy clothing, or just a few minutes to relax then this is the spot for you. One of the greatest advantages of TurnStyle is its convenient location within the subway station. Whether you're entering or exiting the station, catching your train, or transferring between lines, you'll find it incredibly convenient to stop by and explore the market. Its prime location within the subway station ensures easy access and makes it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors alike.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that we stumbled upon this little gem of a place. We had just biked a lot through Central Park and were exhausted. Being first time tourists and not fully comprehending how massive Central Park is. We were starving and heading down to the subway from Columbus Circle to go back to our hotel when we ended up in the underground market. This place is clean, bright and has a similar vibe and feel as some parts of Chelsea Market. We got some mini doughnuts which were really good and some freshly made dumplings which were fantastic. Even though we stumbled upon this place, I’d purposely come back if I was in the area. Cool fun place to find.

Nice selection of stores and restaurants!! The best part was that it was connected to the 1 line (as well as other lines I can't remember). I've lived half an hour away and never realized it, definitely worth checking out!

We found an amazing dumpling place under there called Lisa's Dumplings and OMG. The beef and onion dumplings were SO FRICKIN GOOD!! Going to stop by there every time we head up to Central Park. Skip the shrimp, egg and chive dumplings tho. There's barely any shrimp in them (probably price of seafood made them cut back, I don't know).

Easily accessible from the train station. nice underground atmosphere. I usually get something from Panda Tea to cool off. Come check the place out! it's not too far from the turnstiles.

Cool food court/shopping space spot tucked away under the city. There's a decent variety of food (Chinese, American, Spanish, etc.) and desserts, and it's all priced at roughly standard new York prices ($15-20 for a dinner portion, $10-15 for a lunch portion). Four stars because the vibes are just a bit empty, but it's convenient if you don't know what you want to eat

Surprised to find that the candy shop was gone. Loved that shop!!! Food good but pricey. Homeless people wandering around was not appealing though helped someone in need. It was a good change walking around the neighborhood seeing Lincoln Center and all its magnificent facilities. It' s been a long time since I visited.

Wished I had more time to visit the vendors at the underground market when I was in New York! There's this vendor you have to visit. He's near the middle of all the shops. He features a good selection of Pokemon cards, old school collectables, a pair of vintage converse, tons and tons of awesome deals and I got this set of awesome Hey Arnold earrings made by an artist in New Jersey I believe, she repurposes old trinkets/cartoon characters into earrings. he had a princes bubblegum set I wanted too! Visit the underground market and support local artists and small businesses! It's worth it!

Really great space with excellent food options!! Even attended a pop up inside another restaurant down there and it was an incredibly fun experience. They decorated the tables and served us a lovely prefix meal. Overall, loved the whole experience and concept of the underground markets!

This is actually a nice place. Dumplings are good. One star because: Down Under Coffee, coffee is subpar and the worst part, They charge extra to put cream and sugar on your coffee. That is a first!

Nice little underground market. A hidden gem. There are a variety of small businesses to support. I truly liked it wasn’t packed with people. Very clean. Some stalls are closed, hoping next time I visit they are occupied. Let’s support this market!
