Recently went to buy a loose diamond for an engagement ring, was fortunate enough that my fiancee let me pick my own ring. was recommended Malidani by my very good friend who got her diamond, and setting from them. They are absolutely amazing, we got an amazing price for a beautiful diamond. The reason I am even writing this review is because I just had it appraised and the appraiser was very impressed with the quality of the diamond. My friend also has a beautiful impressive princess cut, so I felt it necessary to let others know that the quality of diamond they carry is amazing. Just as long as you do your research and you know what you are looking for. I went there last minute before they were closing and I know it was probably annoying to have someone come in at the last second but they accommodated me, and it was a crazy rushed situation but they were amazing. I just want to say how thankful I am. And make it known how gorgeous my princess cut diamond turned out to be !!!

We bought my engagement ring and our wedding rings here on two separate occasions. Both times, Malidani Jewellers were extremely helpful and fair with pricing. In fact, they also replaced one of our GIA valuation certificates which we had lost in the hurricane. This was fedexed to us as a courtesy at no extra charge. That is true customer service!! I recently stopped into this jeweler on my last trip to New York City (Dec 2023). I have previously purchased jewelry from this location many year ago but hadn’t visited the city in quite a few years. I knew as soon as I got to the Diamond District that I had to stop in and check out what they had. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about diamonds. Although I didn’t purchase from them on this past trip I definitely will in the future.

My Fiance and I were going to the diamond district today to just look for wedding rings to get some ideas. Our first stop was Malidani as we were invited in. Ephraim helped us and he made the experience as smooth as possible. He was very patient and answered all our questions. We ended up buying our weddings rings here! This review is about a year overdue. Spent several months researching and trying on different jewelers before finally buying from Malidani. Of course you can’t avoid a little haggling in the diamond district if you want a good deal, and Nissan and company were happy to give me a good deal on a great stone. They also made a custom band and turned out exactly how my fiancé wanted it. Very nice folks at Malidani, would easily recommend them to serious engagement ring shoppers.

Great selection and great service. Fair prices, will definitely recommend. I had a necklace made and it came out perfect! The presentation box and bow are an elegant added touch.

Nice people however make sure they explain “everything “ to you. We almost spent 50k and realised that the stone was HPHT which doesn’t even have half the value. They “ forgot “ - So if you buy a diamond there read the certificate well and make sure that if the mention “ color has gone through process “ is mentioned and you see a * next to the color , Know that this diamond has approx 25% of the value they are asking. I Am being nice on this review.

I’m happy to say that this is a trustworthy jewelry store where you can find a lot of interesting and quite affordable earrings, wedding bands and necklaces. All diamonds are GIA certified, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Nissan is a great sales rep, so you’ll be in good hands.

My fiancé and I recently went to browse in Diamond District for wedding rings. We didn’t really intend to buy our rings the first time we looked, but the selection and service at Malidani Jewelry was so impressive, we bought both of ours together for a great price. David took the time to learn what we were looking for in our rings and using his years of experience, found a beautiful and timeless wedding band for me, better than anything I had seen before. He was able to customize everything, including the number of stones since I only wanted diamonds along the top half of the band. He made sure the metal matched my engagement ring and tightened and cleaned the engagement ring complimentary, even though it wasn’t purchased from him. He shared a lot of advice with my fiancé about what to look for in a wedding band, and let us engrave our wedding date on the inside of the band for a more personalized touch. The quality of diamonds and number of settings are impressive, but David really made the experience hassle free and enjoyable. I would recommend stopping by his store to anyone looking for diamonds for any occasion - very different, almost laid back energy compared to other shops in the Diamond District. It’s easy to see he really enjoys what he does, and he’s very good at it.

BUYER BEWARE: The owner is a crook, and the store is a front. I bought an engagement ring from Malidani Jewelry Corp. in 2001 and paid $2,000. Unbeknown to me, they wrote phony details of the stone on our receipt, which is a stamped "Seven Day Money Back Guarantee If Jewelry Does Not Appraise For Purchase Price Or More At Independent Appraiser." I went back in 2022 to sell the stone, and the owner told me it was worth $400. Then I brought out my receipt, and he laughed and said "you still have your receipt," and walked away without a proper conclusion. So it seems my experience was identical to another person (John) who reviewed Malidani Jewelry Corp. If I had it to do again, definitely buy from a dealer who gives you the GIA paperwork certifying the grade and value.

When I was shopping for a ring, Mr. Malidani helped me out. He allowed me to try on several different options. I was quite picky, but he was more than patient with me and serviced my needs with a smile.

I purchased a ring and thought that it fit while I was in the store but when I got home, I could not get it to fully go on my finger. I called the shop immediately and they told me to bring it in the next day. They were happy to size it for me and now it fits perfectly.

Was just cleaning today and I found the receipts from the engagement ring I bought from that amazing store! Wonderful people and ever so helpful! Knowledgeable and patient! And I wasn’t exactly buying the hope diamond, but they took time to make sure I was happy! And when we brought the ring back for adjustment they were just as friendly and professional!!!

Great experience and very friendly, but I wasn’t there for the experience. I was out to find a great deal on a beautiful diamond. I was suspicious at all points of the sale, ring re-sizing, etc but they were straight up and legit. I still came home (back to Utah) and had a local jeweler check out the ring I bought from them and everything matched. From the serial number etched on the diamond, to the platinum the setting was made of. Turns out I bought a very beautiful diamond/setting set at a deep discount. This trip paid for itself with the money I saved, and my girl and I got a great weekend in NYC out of it. I still recommend you do your homework when buying any jewelry, but I’d definitely give these guys a shot. You might walk away with want you wanted or more, at a great deal, and saved the time in running around with the 100’s of other little jewelers up and down the block
