Reserve your entry in advance. I had to wait like 2h to get in. I visited it in November 2022 and that waiting time was probably because of the pandemic. The store is gorgeous! It’s a little piece of Harry Potter in NYC. However we had to decide very carefully on what to buy because the prices are SUPER high. Kinda hard to be a Harry Potter fan!

If you like the Potterverse even a little, you should go to this “first if it’s kind” store dedicated to all things Harry Potter. We went on a weekday so there was no line however it was still very busy. I understand there’s a QR code you can scan so you can be notified when it’s your turn to go in on the busier days. They serve both butter beer and ice cream and the store is full of merchandise and props from the films at somewhat reasonable prices. This can be a fun 20-30 minutes if you’re into it.

I guess it was an impressive store, with a lot of high-priced memorabilia and a butter beer bar to boot. Felt like I was in a Theme park store. But being one of the rare ones who hasn't read Harry Potter, I didn't connect. It's worth a wander through...

super cute store. been in to Orlando so it is super close to the store I visited in the park. DEFINITELY try their ice cream. we got their around 12pm and get into the queue. we waited maybe 20 mins on Sunday and get into the store no problem. definitely take your time and brows both floors if you haven't been into Harry Potter store in Orlando

This is a fantastic experience! Perfect for every Potterhead! We went right when it opened and stayed about 2 hours. The store was not as packed as I have read. It feels like you are actually in the work of Harry Potter! I love all the merchandise. The butterbeer is delicious! It also comes with a souvenir cup. We purchased a mini Birthday Cake. The cake is very sweet.

As a big HP fan, this place was such a fun experience. It was very busy but totally worth exploring. They had lots of cool props from the movies displayed and little photo opportunities throughout the store. I also enjoyed trying the butter beer!

We first visited in August of 2021. The store was very busy and we had to scan a QR code for the virtual line. This was a wonderful thing because we could explore the area while we waited for our turn. We were in the city for 4 days and visited the store 3 days because my daughter was obsessed. We came back again during Christmas time and again had to scan the QR code. I loved the aspect of the virtual line. I think they do a fantastic job managing large crowds. There is so much to see. We played a little scavenger hunt game throughout the store and were awarded a pin when we completed it. Overall a very cool experience and we can't wait to visit again.

Opened in April 2021, this establishment is located on Broadway next to the Flatiron Building and is certainly not an amusement park attraction. This is definitely a store entirely dedicated to the sale of Harry Potter-related merchandise. After several years, my partner finally got to see the interiors yesterday. Gone are the days upon arrival to register for the virtual queue, except during the holidays. Harry Potter New York is comprised of two floors stuffed to the gills with clothes, wands, books, and memorabilia. They brought to life things from the book that weren't in the movies. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, this store is a must-visit. Even if you’re not looking to spend any money, you can have plenty of fun here!

This place is so amazing. For them to have like 4 actual props from the movie was really cool to see. The staff is actually super friendly and mostly extremely knowledgeable. They have so many things here that you cannot find online. My fiancé loves every second of being here.

Probably the most crowded store I've been to in new york, long bathroom lines and everything was very expensive. Although it looks awesome inside and it had the best bathrooms I've seen my whole trip, it wasn't worth going into. Butterbeer tasted just like universal studios and was absolutely amazing. You can get it at the window outside and avoid the crowd inside.

The store was amazing. If you are a Harry Potter fan it's a must see. They have regular Butterbeer only. They do not serve hot or frosted. It was $12 for that and a souvenir cup. MANY different items in the shop. We did not go down to the cellar. Would recommend.

Lots of exclusive swag here (shirts, hoodies, mugs, stationery, etc). All the wands, Hagrid’s shoes to stand in while you pose for a pic. There’s a secret game/scavenger hunt to play in-store using the app to win a secret prize. Butterbeer has gotten more expensive and in a smaller cup now (although better than them charging the full price while serving in a regular disposable cup during the pandemic), and isn’t really worth it. Better to nab the Butterbeer bottles to go. Some cool customizing options for shirts, robes, notebooks, trunks and more. It’s a little hard to navigate when it’s crowded, which it usually is. But if you’re a fan of the books and movies, you’ll love this shop for its comprehensive merch.

Great store went in the beginning of December no wait to get in but it was also during the week. Lots of cute picture props. They have a place downstairs for customized quidditch shirts which looked so good! They sell butter beer on your way out. Got through the checkout line pretty quickly. Staff were very friendly!

A must go if you are a HP fan! A fun experience with some unique products. The butterbeer was amazing, nice seating area outside. We squeezed this on our last day of our trip and I am so glad that we did. Some great photo spots inside and overall good pricing, even some sale and clearance spots. Loved the ability to customize wands, notebooks and trunks!

Visited here during a trip to New York City on Monday February 12th and absolutely loved it..it’s like heaven on earth for Harry Potter fans like me. I didn’t want to leave..perfect design for each House with many different choices of merchandise, I especially loved the giant Fawkes bird that overlooks the entrance as you walked in the store. One of my highlights I enjoyed was the personalization section I was able to get a wand engraved with my name. Amazing! I can’t wait to come back to New York City again soon and check out more of what this store has to offer!

Happily surprised by how much we loved it! As life long lovers of the series (books and movies) we thought the selection of items was expansive and good quality. The different themed rooms were different and just down right fun! We even indulged in the butter beer (which we didn’t have high expectations for) but it was surprisingly delicious! Reminiscent of a sweet root beer float (would highly recommend splitting it) and was more than happy to keep the souvenir cup! Wait time: Arrived 10 am on a Friday and there was no line either.

I like (not LOVE) Harry Potter, so I was only mildly interested in this store, but it ended up being one of my favorite shops in NYC. The have decorated the store in such a whimsy and magical way that you feel like you could be inside the books/movies. There are authentic props in cases all around the store and tons of art work. Even if you don't think you'll buy anything, I'd recommend stopping inside. If you go earlier in the day, there were fewer people and I felt like I had more time to stop and look at the items. We went twice (to go back for a gift) and the afternoon trip was not as pleasant.

If you are a Harry Potter fan I highly recommend you stop by this place. They offer everything from butter beer to personalized wands and clothing. The decoration and layout of the store is perfectly mapped out and full of little Easter eggs and hidden surprises. I recommend you download the Harry Potter app because there are QR codes scattered throughout the store with lore about the universe

Loved this store. If you are a HP fan it's a must. I loved being able to scan the key codes to get more information and hidden secrets. I could spend hours in the store and never get bored. The Butterbeer was delicious, and things inside the store were reasonably priced

Harry Potter Fans Assemble! Love the store and all the decor. We swung by the store during our January 2023 trip to NYC. There was no wait to get in and the store wasn’t super crowded which allowed us ample time/space to explore. If you’re in town, this is definitely worth a stop and shop.

The Harry Potter shop with almost everything shown in the movies. It's definitely a must go for Harry Potter fan. U can get all the characters wand here as well we the clock and robes from each of the hagwart houses. Even wands that do not exist in the movies specially made for each of the houses and the items in the franchise. Also other clothing as well as books, toys, drinks, food... anything magical u can think of. I would highly suggest finding out your house on the Harry Potter fan site before going =]

⚡🤓 rejoice!! This place is incredible. So many fun and quirky products to delight you and bring the world to life. Prices were decent, I was expecting products to be much more expensive than they were. I even scored a big beautiful golf umbrella for $25. My tip for real potter heads is to only go with other die hards. Don't try too hard to convince anyone who just casually "likes" HP to go with you. Maybe find another store or attraction in the area and give them permission to escape there while you take your time. There's a lot of little tiny details that will delight you while boring your companions to tears. My kids thought the store was cool but I would have lingered longer left to my own devices. Butterbeer was fun and didnt taste bad but it's cloyingly sweet. I love candy and was delighted in the honey dukes section but I probably could have saved $8 by splitting the butterbeer with the other adult. Once we'd had a few tastes we were both over it and ended up pouring the drink into a garbage can so we could keep the cup. I'll definitely visit again once the holidays are over and the crowds die down. And hopefully with someone who also loves HP enough to audibly squeak with delight at the hidden details for 2-3 hours 😉

A great experience for all the Potter and Fantastic beasts fans. Seems like they have everything 😁The butterbeer was tasty but might be too sweet for someone. I bought some cute Christmas ornaments and bookmarks. Better to visit on weekdays! Our first visit on Saturday was a failure, it was packed like an eve at Rockefeller’s tree.

If you love Harry Potter, you will LOVE this place! The only thing is that it is very very busy. This is basically a giant gift shop with so many cool props and other Harry Potter memorabilia displayed throughout the store! They also have their take on "Butter Beer" and other treats/drinks.
