The employee who was assisting me today was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I came into the store knowing exactly which item I was going to purchase, and asked for her help to simply buy. Parissa (her name) was unwilling to help me and constantly responded in a negative and almost insulting tone. She even screamed at me because she misheard what I said, and kept making nasty faces. English is my second language, but my daughter who was next to me was helping if anything seemed unclear. But I didn’t even ask any complex questions, and she was simply rude. Considering the number of money I spent, and keep in mind I was in the store for a maximum of 10 minutes, she did not greet me with any kind words or comfort. If you are an Apple Soho Manager or someone in charge, please speak to her (Parissa(Asian)) about this absurd behavior. I’m really upset and left the store with my new products feeling sad, disrespected, and unworthy of anything. I just wouldn’t want anyone else coming into this store to get their mood ruined by her negativity. Even my daughter felt the terrible vibe.

I am very disappointed, I had a hard day, the fault of the technicians on the second floor, I had an appointment to repair my iPhone 12 pro max, my phone was charging at 90 percent and when he gave it to me it was 10 percent which is ridiculous considering i came from very far away and i needed to use my google maps to find my way, shame on you

Great location, super friendly staff, and a stellar building, layout! The skylight and stairs in the center of this location brighten up the entire store. It is a very busy help desk, so be sure you schedule ahead of time or else you won’t be able to Get your questions answered.

I went into SoHo to buy a new phone and received the loveliest experience from Ishmael, who kindly welcomed me in and spoke to me like two friends simply catching up. Not only did he help me purchase a new phone but he also went beyond and helped me set it up and taught me how to use it. He also gave me a tour of the store and shared some incredible facts about the SoHo store. Ishmael was absolutely amazing and his service was something that made me love Apple even more!

What are my favorite spots to go to when I’m in New York? Is the Apple Store in Soho as it’s next to where I work when I come into the city the store is always filled with. Very very good employees that really know their stuff. They’re very welcoming and offer you all the help. You need to get done what you need to get done.

Leah's passive-aggressive demeanor was off-putting from the get-go, then i was told I can be seen in five minutes which turned into a whole hour. As if that wasn't enough, my ongoing battle with malfunctioning Air Max headphones reached a new level of frustration. Despite multiple repair attempts and assurances that they're fine, the issues persist. Even after showing the problem to the staff and reminding them of promises made by manager Mitzi that I initially spoke to, I'm still being asked to send them in again even though the Genius Bar Manager Jen and her associate witnessed the issue first hand on this visit. If you’re looking to purchase a pair of Apple Max headphones just opt out for the Bose nose canceling headphones because my Apple max constantly disconnects and malfunctions even at a $600 price point with Apple care. And to top it all off, when I requested the store manager's contact information, I was essentially told to figure it out myself and find it online (which I can’t). This whole experience has been beyond disappointing; Apple seriously needs to up their game in the customer service department. Do better

Apple used to be a really great company. So disappointed. 25 min to wait a screen protector brought up and then I got a “you need to wait 1 hour and 30 min for a technician to come at a Genius Bar to replace a broken case in warranty”. Spoke to a manager and he is totally ridiculous. TO BE NOTED: nearly 15 employees hanging and chatting to each other and none waiting. You guys should remember who APPLE was… 👎👎👎👎

I bought a new computer and got my old one fixed. The employees were so nice. Joey provided superb customer service for setting up my computer. Also had a great customer experience with two other ladies, but I can't quite place their names.

The Apple Store staff were amazing at this store, especially Patrick! They were there to help me with getting my new phone and setting it up. When I had issues with my carrier, Patrick helped me tremendously and made it his mission to help me get me my phone and set it up. Very grateful to have Patrick helping me and being at this Apple Store!

I came in today to purchase a new work phone cause I drop and cracked mines. So I told the guy i was looking for a less expensive one, so I went with the 12. The whole time he probably asked me like 8 times to purchase Apple care, he clearly didn’t understand the 7th time I don’t want/need it. Had to speak to him slowly, I came here for a iPhone, screen protector, phone case, and that’s it. Some people just don’t understand what NO! means. I bought multiple phones/laptops from here, never had any issues till today.

Last September, I bought the 14 Pro, and on Tuesday, my phone suddenly couldn't start without any impact or water damage. I tried charging it at home, but it didn't work. This has never happened in all my years of using Apple phones. Because I don't trust third parties, I booked an appointment with Apple's tech support, hoping to get my phone repaired there. So, early today, I took my phone to the Apple store . The genius bar staff tested various functions, but the phone still wouldn't turn on. So he asked me to sign an agreement, mentioning potential data loss. I asked if it was only partial data loss, and they assured me it would be acceptable. They took the phone to the repair department, asking me to return in a few hours. When I came back, they informed me that all the data on my phone had been deleted. Everything was gone. Can you imagine that feeling? If they had initially told me the phone couldn't be repaired and that repairing it would result in complete data loss, I wouldn't have proceeded. I specifically booked with Apple in the hope that the manufacturer could fix it, but this is how customer trust is treated. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the staff implied it was my fault for not purchasing AppleCare and updating iCloud. I don't understand why, after buying a high-capacity phone, I have to purchase various packages. I don't mind paying for repairs, but I don't like the attitude of blaming users when it's clearly a problem with your product. I feel the genu staff completely disregarded the genuine needs of customers, displaying a dismissive and indifferent attitude. I'm writing this review because my phone contains many photos and memories, including the only pictures, videos, and chat records I have of my late grandfather who passed away this year. I trusted you by making an appointment, hoping to find a solution in your store, but all I got was a brief apology, and the solution offered was to delete everything during the repair. Why didn't you communicate this clearly from the beginning? I paid $500 and received a reassembled phone devoid of any memories or records. I can't accept your approach. This is the most disappointing experience with Apple, and it will also be the last time.

Love this store. Helped to fix the issues I had with the devices I brought in to repair. Thanks to the Genius Bar folks. I feel bad that I can't remember my genius name. She was well knowledgeable of everything and took care of everything for us, including another staff member by the name of Jenn. Jenn is Gem. I spent hours in Apple, but it went by so fast as Jenn took care of us during the time my computer was backing up. Very accommodating to my kids. Immaculate service. That store is clean and beautiful. Left paying a big bill, but it's priceless to the service and products we received.

My recent visit to the Apple Store was a lifesaver. I forgot my iPhone passcode and needed it unlocked and updated. The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole process was quick, and I left with a fully functional phone. Thanks, Apple Store, for the prompt and professional service!

While some employees are nice and helpful, the service situation is terrible. Even after booking an appointment I was made to wait before somebody could see me after doing that and following all the processes of turn off find my phone etc. The technician tells me the part is not in stock and I have to come back. Why was I given the appointment on that day when the part was not in stock? After that, they said, all you need to do is come and drop off your phone at any time and it will be fixed in two hours. I go back a second time when my part arrives to drop off your phone you need to wait 15 minutes before somebody can see you , so it isn’t really a drop off at that time the staff tells me my repair will need more time and will have to be kept overnight again something that could’ve been communicated previously so I could’ve planned accordingly. So I had to go back a third time to finally get my issue, resolved in a decent time and duration, making the process extremely tedious. What bothered me was also the staff behavior because I know it’s not in their control, but it would’ve been great to get some more information with them suggesting to come back on a weekday or giving any additional information to ease my process rather than just repeating sorry that’s all weekend.

Easy scheduling an appointment to check one's product. Prompt to greet you & meet the person at the genius bar. A couple of staff wore well fitted masks. Beautiful space. Free workshops. No visible air filters.

I was nervous about coming to this store because of some of the reviews I read, but Justin was so helpful and patient. He took the time to answer my questions or any concerns I had. He was a wealth of knowledge which was so helpful in choosing a watch for my daughter. He also brought us upstairs to set up the watch which I was happy about because it was much easier to do it there. Me and my daughter left happy. Thank, Justin!

An exceptional customer experience. Smart color scheme to the stairway to heaven effect via floating steps positioned under the well placed skylight. Great support staff from the greeter in the lobby to the assistance provided at the genius bar. Excellent.

It took me so long to write this review since I bought my MacBook back in December ‘21, but I just wanted to say that Alex, if Im not hopefully mistaken with his name, was the sweetest person. He helped me set up my computer since it was my very first personal computer ever. He was very kind and understanding and made this experience unforgettable for me. So, thank you so so much, Alex!!

At the genius bar are the nicest employees. The managers though on the main floor disaster. Horrid attitudes. Wow! Especially one specific middle aged horrible human being who I was told is not even a manager who wears glasses and has kind of a sleek hairdo with not much hair. I wish I took a photo of them.

Less efficiently run than the 5th Avenue Apple store. My wait time on a weekday was at least 20 mins, which has not been my experience with Apple appointments at other stores before this (it's usually quicker, even over the weekend, especially if you already have an appointment). The issue I came with was addressed professionally and as quickly as possible though, once it was my turn.

I’m actually surprised by all these negative reviews. I think the issue is that ppl go their wanting a certain outcome & that doesn’t happen. EVERYONE I’ve encountered at this store is so friendly and pleasant. There’s 2 apple stores in my area and I’d rather come to this store which says a lot. I’m always out of there within a half an hour; today it was literally 15 minutes. They actually listen to the customers needs and problems rather than tell you what they think is wrong. Keep up the good work guys!!!!

We bought an old house with a lot of old bathroom fixtures that needed to be replaced or refinished. Because I had so many expenses during those times, I didn't have enough money, so I decided to refinish instead. I called this company because they came highly recommended by my best friend. They were very professional from start to finish and did take their work seriously. I was able to save money and still have a gorgeous bathroom. Thank you guys!!

I just love this store! I've been shopping here for many years and every time it is a pleasure. Today was no exception. I walked in with a question and was immediately engaged in conversation with a knowledgeable staff member Chris. He took his time, answered all of my questions, and patiently helped with ideas for our small business. In the end, I left with a brand new grey MacBook Air and a smile. It was the exact experience you hope to have when making a big investment. Thank you!!!!!!

Honestly, the wait times are something beyond their control but some of these employees are SO dismissive. Today, I had a guy who gave me nothing but attitude and then told me I need to do a return on the phone and apple support was so confused as to why he told me that. When I went the previous time before pickup, the lady told me they didn't have the item I needed (literally a replacement item) in stock. I said ok cool and asked if I can order it in the store as to which she said no. I did it online and somehow my card got charged multiple times for multiple orders of the same replacement which is why I needed to make a return on an item I didn't need. Mind you the items I all ordered went directly to the apple store and were IN THE STORE and he still wouldn't do it which made me spend 30 minutes on the phone with apple support.

The workers here don’t take any responsibility and they kick you as a ball among different colleagues. Just checking the AirPods can cost me 1.5 hours… The non white and non black man worked on 2024/3/7 with 170 cm tall and black shirt hair who said his name is Fred (maybe it’s a fake name since he tried not to tell me his name) acted REALLY BAD. I could say he just walked around and ignore your requirement. Also, he seems not understand English. It was so tough to talk to him in English. There’s also a thing that he took out his employee ID card so that ppl would not know his name. Obviously, he was concerning sb complain about him. No worries, Fred, your boss gonna know this from me. No way to escape. Another lady Angelina also disappeared right away even though she didn’t finish the service. This is also why other workers were kicking me as ball and didn’t want to respond to my requests. The Genius Bar coordinator, a black woman wore mask and pulled up her curvy hair, acted as a NPC. She could say nothing but repeat “ did you make an appointment?” even though I was forced to make 3 different appointments within 1.5 hours.
