One word...terrible! I was only 15 minutes late to a 7:30am appointment on a Thursday and had already been marked down as a "no show". I am 34 weeks pregnant and commuted from Westchester. I was also informed, after the fact, that either way the doctor would not have seen me because they don't have the "equipment" to accomodate 36+ weeks pregnant women. As I mentioned I'm only 34 weeks along and it would have been nice if the person who called me the day prior to confirm the appointment would have let me know I wasn't going to be able to be seen. This was such a waste of time, I requested a late start for work and I paid for parking at a local garage to make this appointment. I tried to call the front desk on my way in to let them know I was running a little behind but no one picked up. I get it, I was 15 minutes late, but this practice should be more understanding/flexible with their patients. This practice is all about money, I do not recommend Juno!

TLDR; Good standard of care, obnoxious late policy I’ve became a patient at Juno Medical when my OBGYN joined the practice. I mentioned to her that I needed a primary care physician and she mentioned that this practice had them, so I made an appointment. I’ve been had a few primary care physician appointments here without incident. I normally go once a year for routine checkups. I scheduled a follow-up appointment this last Friday with Dr. Mendoza. Apparently they’ve changed the late policy to a five minute grace period since I last went. After traveling from Brooklyn to Harlem, I got to the office at 4:37 p.m. for my scheduled 4:30 appointment. I was informed by the receptionist that I had passed the five minute period ( by two minutes) and that I may have to reschedule. The receptionist then told me that I had to reschedule bc the doctor was with another patient. It was the end of the day, but no one else was in the waiting room. I declined and left. I’d wasted an hour traveling to the doctor to be turned away, why would I want to reschedule with a medical practice with, what I believe to be, an unreasonable late policy. It’s NYC, things happen while commuting. As I reached the train, I received a message that my appointment had been cancelled ( by Juno Medical) and that I was now going to be charged a $30 cancellation fee for an appointment that I DID NOT CANCEL outside of the cancellation window. Before I get the autogenerated response to this review, I’ve already emailed my grievances to the Juno email. Btw, emailing or sending a portal message is the only way to get in contact with a live person at this practice. I was excited for this medical practice, as they staff POC. The standard of care offered is good, which is the only reason I gave three stars, but you’ve lost a patient due to your inflexible lateness policy. It’s hard enough finding black and brown physicians and this policy adds another barrier to care and medical access.

Two stars because the Physicians Assistant who took care of me was kind and the young blond hair Black woman was kind too, but as for the rest of the front desk staff. Have better customer service. I had an 11am appointment, arrived at least 10 minutes before my appointment time and was having trouble obtaining my health insurance info from my cell phone. As I tried to get my information, the front desk woman yells out “it’s 11:05am and you have a 5 minutes grace period I can reschedule you for 12:30” I said, “okay” and finished getting my health insurance information at 11:14am and went to have lunch and came back at 12:30. These women did not smile, did not alert me to this grace period when I walked in and only asked if I needed help minutes into me standing in front of the kiosk. Also, what medical space is unable to retrieve your health insurance info in their system. If for the front desk staff at Juno throw the whole clinic away!

Similar to other reviews I had a negative experience with the clinic. After countless tests, the doctor gave me a diagnosis and found that there were other issues in addition to what we originally suspected. I requested a work form. The doctor refused to add my diagnosis and the quality of the letter was that of a high schooler. This clinic is messy and unorganized. I paid to compensate the doctor for the time it takes to write the letter and it was so sloppy. In addition, every time I speak to one specific receptionist I have to pay a deductible, while on the iPad I never have one. I was a patient for years but I think the quality of service is down. This could be a much better place and policies could be clearer.

Unresponsive to emails on prescription refills, and I received a $900 medical bill for an annual routine lab. Someone said all their mistakes become your problem to solve - this is very true. The staff are nice but it's easy to fall through the cracks here.

Had an initial diagnosis, was put on medications, then upon follow up when I had no improvement I was told I actually didn’t have the disease I was diagnosed with. My symptoms were so bad I had to take FMLA, I asked to get paperwork and was told I had to come for a visit. After the visit I was told they no longer do the paperwork. While I hate to leave a bad review I would definitely avoid this place.

I've had 3 interactions with them: 1) They cancelled my appointment due to insurance mishap on their end. 2) Billed me for "missed appointment" they had rescheduled themselves. 3) Booked same day care online and they didn't receive it. This place is a mess, and all their mistakes become your problem.

Dr Mendoza, is phenomenal. I originally visited this location back in January for a physical. I haven’t had one in years and I was kind of hesitant to visit a doctor’s office due to fear of having health issues I didn’t want to know about. Dr Mendoza was kind and informative, he definitely makes you feel comfortable to discuss any concerns you have. Due to this great visit, I have since had two of my close friends also attend this office and have visits with him personally. When he told me he also sees children I changed my son now to this location. He had his first visit with Dr Mendoza and he is fantastic with kids, definitely makes them informed about their own body and apart of any action plan that is needed to better their health. He did not rush and took his time. Most doctors rush through visits only addressing why you came not asking further questions that can enhance the visit. Dr Mendoza address many things without being prompted, he explained clear and with language that is easy for any one to understand. Will continue to visit this office and recommend this location due to the amazing service I have gotten from Dr Mendoza.

I have been on the search for a primary care physician for a while now, and Juno Medical was the right choice. My first visit made me feel as if I was exactly where I needed to be. I as a patient, felt empowered and fully equipped in having control in my patient journey. Everyone who worked there made me feel validated, welcome and at ease. I hate going to the doctors, because I usually feel detached and unimportant, but not with the team at Juno Medical. Thank you so much for being a team of caring medical professionals.

Great experience! Front desk staff was very efficient and welcoming, the nurses were courteous and professional. Went in for my booster and flu shots, and I was provided efficient service with no wait time, and warm smiles on everyone's faces. The clinic itself is lovely: great design, wonderful, clean and well kept. Thank you for helping make my winter safer. :-)

I just needed a work vaccine verification form filled out, and A. Walker required me to take all of these immunity tests before signing the form. I think it was a $$ play because I've never ever had to get any immunity test done before (and have had to get a similar form signed at least 5 times). The form had to be signed urgently so I went ahead and did the tests.. and ended up getting $1000 in bills. I find out they didn't file these tests with my insurance, even though I was a prior patient of Juno. Very negative experience and A. Walker made me feel like I was stupid for "not knowing" about the tests requirement. Again never in my life have have I had to test my immunity to Mumps or Rubella.... I have two MMR vaccines on record.

I went to Juno on June 23rd to see Ogochukwu Anagboso, NP, and the visit was excellent! She made a very sensitive visit comfortable, and I never felt rushed. She was able to ease any worries I had and responded to all my clarifying questions with the most informative answers. I also would like to highlight Jasmine, the medical assistant who was very kind and great at the initial introduction and drawing my blood. Also, not to mention I had my five-year-old with me. They were very understanding and even interacted with her to keep her busy. As a black woman, it has been tough to find a provider who genuinely cares, and to have a space where I am seen and heard was a fantastic feeling. Thank you to the Juno staff, and I will continue to use your services in the future. I live on Roosevelt Island and can unequivocally say that taking two trains to your office for future care is worth it.

Nice Doctors, clean office... I just wish the receptionists would answer the phones. I've never had a problem with reaching out to someone at a doctor's office (via phone) before. At one point- none of my calls were going through after a miscommunication with my pharmacy, regarding medication. I thought it was my imagination, so I tested the theory. I called 3 times in a row once- nothing. But, when I called directly afterwards from my husband's phone, miraculously someone answered. Common courtesy only takes a second.

As a patient of Juno Medical. I highly recommend this practice. The care and concern is genuine, finding a female Ob/Gyn Dr. Fraser is comforting. I never wait more than 10-15 minutes. I’m very satisfied with the over all services. The location is great. Thank you Juno Medical.

I seen Dr. Mendoza today and I’m extremely satisfied. Not only was he very polite he made sure that I understood literally everything and was very open to answering and addressing all my questions and concerns. It’s been a long time since I felt like every single base possible was covered after leaving a doctor’s office. To top it off the staff was great and very nice as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendoza as well as this facility.

Very disappointed, I was super optimistic about coming here and they failed to do their job including Judy the office manager and Dr. Mendoza. I have recommended several patients and now I regret to say there customer service/ correspondence needs drastic change and action

The front office is friendly and Dr. Frasier is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. She is patient and actually listens to you. I feel confident that my health is in the capable hands. I would recommend her to all women in every age bracket.

From the minute I walked in, it was a nice and quiet environment. The receptionist immediately greeted me and confirmed my appointment. I was seen in less than 5 mins even earlier than my scheduled appointment. NP, Ogo was kind, very attentive and helped talk me through the pros and cons of the decision that I wanted to make. I highly recommend this clinic. They are professionals, attentive and better yet black women which is very important to me.

This was my first visit at Juno Medical. The process to make an appointment was easy, check-in was seamless on their touch pads. Met with Dr. Fraser, she was very kind, welcoming and gave me a chance to ask any questions that I had. I highly recommend Dr. Fraser for any gynecology needs.

I am writing this review for my elderly aunt. She had been having joint pain for some time. Her PCP referred her to a rheumatologist. That doctor didn't have any new appts until NOVEMBER! Mind you this was in late July when my aunt was trying to make an appt. I remembered that Juno Medical has a rheumatologist on staff. I made the appt with Dr. Hinson. Dr. Hinson was personable and professional. She took her time with my aunt . Which my aunt greatly appreciated. My aunt cannot stop thanking me for finding her new favorite dr.

Coming to Juno has easily been one of the best experiences I've had with a medical facility. Dr. Hinson is kind and attentive, and her care has definitely made me a healthier person. Also, I appreciate that such a great resource is in our community!

I found Juno as I searched for a new OB/GYN. I came across Juno and found that it was in my community. I must say I was not disappointed. From the receptionist to the medical assistant all the way to the doctor. They make you feel comfortable. They made sure if I had any question that they were answered. I would recommend anyone to Juno. We need more places Juno in our community.

Dr. Sarnelli was an incredible listener. I really felt like she was really trying to get to know me and answer any questions I had. I did not feel judged or rushed which is really important to me because I have felt that way at previous doctors' offices. I felt like I was in a safe space and felt very comfortable with the doctors there. It was important to me that I connected with my doctor on a cultural level and she spoke the same language as me. I look forward to my next appointment at Juno Medical.

Took my toddler for her covid vaccine since her regular pediatrician didn't know when they would be getting their supply delivered. The Juno office was bright and open and we waited no more than a few minutes. Doctor Mendoza was sweet and attentive with my shy baby girl. He explained the side effects of the vaccine, and what to look out for. And he took care to use a small massaging device I have never seen before, but which made the shot a quick event that my toddler barely paid attention to - not one tear! Overall it was a great experience and we will return there for her subsequent 2 covid shots over the next few months.

Everyone was really efficient but still listened. It felt very judgement free and welcoming. The assistant who took my blood was so patient and was able to get a vein quickly and painlessly, where in the past it’s taken three people to get a vein from me for blood work. This is a great place, especially for women of color where you will feel seen and heard.

I have been a patient at Juno for over a year now and it has been an excellent experience. Dr. Hinson is an excellent listener, and I feel well cared for by her and her staff. When I had trouble getting my insurance to cover my blood tests the staff at Juno were responsive, efficient, and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this practice.

Can someone from the billing team PLEASE reply? I had a pleasant visit and getting an appointment was a breeze. Everyone was professional, warm, and welcoming. Unfortunately I’ve been trying to reach the Juno billing team for over a month now and all I’ve been getting are automated responses. I’m hoping to resolve a significant billing error and feel completely stuck.

Probably the best clinic I’ve visited in a long time, I was very happy with the care and attention they give. I was there for no longer than 20 mins for my appointment and all my needs were met, I would highly recommend this place to a family member/friend. Scheduling an appointment was quick and stress free, I did everything online and they sent updates through text/email. I will definitely be coming back!
