Jewelry store Jeweler Jewelry repair service Watch repair service

😠 The worse customer service ever. I went to replace the battery watch, not only they wanted to triple charge me for the battery asking me to pay $40.00 when they had previously changed it this year for $13.00 but when I disagree with the price, the guy with the only attitude scratched my watch becaus... I brought a couple of times some watches, one for strap adjustment and the other for battery replacement. They did a great job and fast, very nice and polite people. I've recommended them to a couple of friends.

I have been coming to this store for over 15 years for watch repair and battery and band changes. My recent visit was expensive with a few watches needing batteries. I needed a sports band for 2 watches but they had none in stock. In the past I was always able to get bands there. In addition, the store was uncomfortably hot due to the ceiling lights and no AC on. Maybe it was the post pandemic business blues but I was glad to finish my visit. I will still return to do business there, I just wish it was more comfortable.

We regularly come here with my husband for the past 7 years. They have one of the finest selection of jewelry in NY. Small, but VERY nice!! It is a small shop ran by husband and wife, who do the best repair work I have seen. ( actually I ended up visiting their place for the very first time because Zales ruined one of my gold rings..., which they fixed brilliantly... since than I brought here my mother’s and other family jewelry for repair and they have done commissioned pieces also beautifully ). The prices are very reasonable and they are always very kind. I highly recommend them!!

Cheap and overpriced inventory. Would not recommend buying any jewelry here. If you need a watch battery replaced and that’s fine, but their jewelry looks cheap. I bought a ring here and asked for an engraving done. The ring came back scratched up and the engraving was done extremely poorly. I won’t wear this ring now because it just looks bad.

highly recommend! nice people, they remember your name when you walk in and make me feel welcome in their store. it's a good way to run a business. their prices are reasonable, and they do repairs quickly and efficiently. if there ever is an error (very rarely) they always will cheerfully fix it. plus they play good classical music in the store, a relief for me from a lot of loud music in other stores

Highly recommend this business. The owner is an amazing, humble man. He made our wedding bands for us exactly how we wanted. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but here for your custom jewelry needs and repairs!

I’m giving it 5 stars for the quality of the work. BUT: it is expensive. I go there because the workmanship is so good. Wish it were just a little bit more affordable. I paid $271 to have a beautiful old Art Nouveau watch I bought about five years ago, restored. The watch itself was about $350. I also had a gorgeous silver bracelet with an Aztec design and a turquoise cleaned. Price $25. After Mr. Park, the owner, cleaned it, it was spectacular, like a whole new bracelet. So I dunno. Maybe it isn’t too expensive- if you can afford it.

Not surprising that this place has so many positive reviews. The store has a very decent array of pieces to choose from, and the prices are quite fair. Most importantly, the people are very polite and patient. I once tried on almost three racks of jewelry and was not hurried along or pressured to buy. If you are looking for some great pieces to add to your jewelry collection, check this place out. They also buy scrap gold/unwanted gold jewelry. Very transparent with how they calculate the buying price.

They are efficient, friendly and trustworthy. I always go there when batteries need replacement or when timepieces need repair. Highly recommend.

Good price and great and quick service. I went there to get a battery and three tiny screws for an old 100M rated Timex Oceania watch. They were able to make it work. They also have a large selection of 100M watches which is the minimum rating necessary for swimming as I do.

I’m giving this place 1 star only bc I have to. They’d get 0 if it were up to me. Just to preface this I was shocked by how unkind and unwelcoming they were considering they sold me something faulty. They are mean, unwilling to help, and just plain impossible to deal with. The owner of the store sold me a vintage LeCoultre watch for 1000$. I had been there in previous days to check some things out. The original price of this watch was 1500$. And he next time I went in it had dropped to 1000$. So I took my opportunity and purchased it. Later that day while i was wearing it the crystal falls off the wrist watch. This guy knew it that this watch was faulty. When I brought it back to return it, he says his policy is no refunds, store credit only. There was nothing else i wanted there so store credit was useless. Plus he was rude and obnoxious. It was a horrible experience xperience. What a as interesting though was that the last time I had been there, there was another man in the store very unhappy. The owner is dishonest, lies, and won’t even logically reason with you. He took no fault nor did he apologize for the faulty watch. Instead he stood there with cold eyes. I finally decided this isn’t going anywhere so I’ll take the equivalent of 1000$ in gold. So hopefully by selling it ill get at least something back. My prediction though is that I’m only able to get a few hundred back when I sell it. I have to cut my losses at that point. Never go to this place. Jewelry Land is one of the worst if not the very worst jewelry stores he ever been to.!! Gigantic rip off. Don’t go !! Update: so I went to sell the gold and got a total of 225$. This man stole 800$ from me. This is from another customer: Brought a gold diamond engagement ring here to be resized in February. They measured her finger to determine the size that was needed. Came back a few days later to pick it up and it was still just as big as it was before. Called them twice to ask about it and the only thing he said was that if I brought it in again I would need to pay full price to get him to do any work on it, even though it seemed like he didn't do anything the first time. Just brought it to another jeweler who confirmed the ring was the same size as before. They refused to refund me and took the money and didn't do any work on the ring. Absolutely not confused this place with another store. Really would kinda just like my money back because they charged me $87 to size the ring from a size 4.5 to a size 4 and when I brought it to another jeweler to measure he confirmed it's still a size 4.5.

Great shop! Very professional. Replaced my watch battery in seconds for a very reasonable price.

Pricey and I thought they switched out something I gave them.. I don’t have confirmation but the item was incredibly light when I received it back?? Asked to see them working on it and they said they can’t.

Finally he manage to close my watch, and then he had the nerves to tell me that he should have charge me for that. Ridiculous !!!!

These folks know their business, do their work thoroughly and well. I had a watch that I bought in Italy. After years it stopped working, I brought it to a jeweler in NY, they said it couldn't be fixed. Brought it with me to Italy, they said they couldn't fix it. On a whim last year I brought it to Jewelry Land. Two days later my watch was working, and stayed working! I needed to have some turquoise restrung. She did a beautiful job with it and with a knotted amber necklace. These folks are the very best. And nice too.
