My very selective senior dog has been picky and sometimes not eating the food he has always loved. I am glad I found Petqua. My dog loves the snacks and treats I purchase from there, and he loves the new dog food I purchased there which you see in the picture. He has more energy, and his bowel movements are much better. The ingredients in this dog food are healthy.

Pet Aqua is a great place to buy a goldfish or resources for a fish. Upstairs, there is a wide array of things like tanks and decorations, (as well as a parrot that can stay stuff). Down stairs there is a tourist with is named George from my memory and he is a legend. Anyway, there are lovebirds downs status and an interesting array of fish. Recommended!

The owner and staff are super nice and very helpful! I always stop by to get crickets for my leopard gecko and their large crickets are genuinely large lol. I used to go to the Petsmart a couple blocks down but I wasnt a fan of their location. The prices are the same too. Also recommend going downstairs, they have very cool animals and a large turtle that roams around lol! If you have pets i recommend this place!

i LOVE this pet shop a lot, especially for feeders for my chameleon. The owners are super nice and helpful and aren’t pushy when it comes to taking your time and shopping. I was also greeted by a talking parakeet that kept saying “hello”. The also have a downstairs section with fish, reptiles, HUGE dubia roaches, hamsters, guinea bigs, doves, turtles and you’ll be greeted by a ginormous 20 year old tortoise. The only reason i’m giving it 4 stars is because in one of the hamster tanks, there was no water in the water container and there were small roaches all over it. it made me feel bad for the hamster and also stressed me out quite a bit. nonetheless, this is a great store with great prices. oh! and they also offer onboarding for reptiles (everything included for $10 a day). Things purchased: 10 dubia roaches (66¢ each) Reptile calcium with and without vitamin D3 Reptile multivitamin Small hornworms

My go-to local pet supply store. The staff are friendly and quick to try and help. Decent array of products but while they may carry a specific item their selection within that item may be limited (i.e. one tick remover, or one kind of nail clippers). Store was clean and tidy (though it may not look it since pretty products all over the walls is hard to make look tidy).

Inconsistent inventory and inconsistent pricing one week feeders 28 a box of 1000next week 38 the next week back to 28, tell you to come get box of feeders on shipping day ( we’d) to try not to get you to buy inventory boost prices so they can sell part out for more, or staff call personal dibs. Improper pet housing. Inadequate lighting, and some species that should be housed alone will have 3 or more in enclosure like leopards and gargoyles geckos. Bare minimum needs are met. If that I won’t get started on the fish ! But the bettas suffering. Ide shop around first I’ve given them almost a year of business with my first couple transactions Being several hundred, hoping the next week would be better experience then I the last, hoping they see the value in the returning customer, but each time I’m proven they can careless of my business with they way the conversations go. So this is the last week I’ll return. The convinces of working two train stops away was the main drive to further business but honestly it’s worth my time to go out my way from now on.

The fish section is kept in horrible condition. The tanks are full of algae and a lot of dead fish. I understand that they are a small business but doesn’t mean that they can neglect the fish tanks in basement. The staff are friendly but never wear masks which makes me feel uneasy to go inside the store or even ask them questions. Probably for dog and cat sections, they are doing better because I see they have well stocked shelves, that’s why I give them 2 stars.

Petqua is an uptown gem! The store carries a wide variety of pet supplies and also offers temporary boarding for small exotic pets. Sam and the rest of the staff are friendly and approachable, but George the store tortoise (storetoise?) is my favorite employee.

I was looking for a local pet store and found this special place. Not only do they have a great selection, but the staff and owners are so nice. Sam set me up and his colleague gave my sweet lab a treat on our way out. A new loyal customer!

Petqua is a pillar of the community. Where would we be without them? I cannot imagine a better neighborhood pet store. They always have what I need, and if they don’t, they will order it. Simply the best.

My favorite place to buy fish. Have never had one die on me straight after I bought them and they have a great selection. Unfortunately they do run low on stock sometimes.

The supplies I purchase are of very good quality. The beautiful birds are a breath of fresh air and the parrot actually said, Hi to me.

Awesome local pet supply store with friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Delivery is also quick and efficient. If they don't have what you need in stock, they are always happy to order and deliver it. Great small business.

i went back in december a little before closing time for the first time & i was really happy with the experience. i had a nice women help me test the water for free, i was buying fish for my 29 gal that i had just finished cycling ☺️ she escorted me downstairs with the tanks are. Even tho i supposedly went the day before they were going to add more stock they had a really nice selection compared to petco. all of the fish looked healthy, there wasn't any duckweed i saw some reviews mention that but i only say it in 2 or 3 tanks top, free of ick, not to mentioned they had a really nice selection of angelfish & guppies, had this nice little pea puffer too. i bought a chinese algae eater & a shoal of zebras danios for a good price & im soo happy bc they get along with my rosey barbs & tetras just fine the danios grew nicely. Im definitely going back to get a centrepiece for my tank. 🙂
