I've never heard of Matto before but I'm glad I found this place when I was looking for something to go. They definitely advertise their $2.50 per item well if you download the mobile app. So that's just what I did! Right at the front of the store. My order was ready in a few minutes. I got the egg and tomato croissant and the smoothie. Both were good, even though the croissant was premade. It was very good when heated. There's no seating, just a few outdoor tables. App was a little glitchy, but I will definitely return because the prices cannot be beat!

Nice Matto spot, right of the train stop. Very tasty croissant with eggs and avocado. Obviously coffee and tea beverages are the main reason to come here. Will be coming back.

I love Matto Espresso! I’ve been to a few locations uptown and they never disappoint. Everything there is delicious and incredibly priced. This particular location is cute and clean and the employees were so friendly. They are running a free coffee and tea promotion right now. Who doesn’t love free coffee?!

Tasty drinks & food for a very affordable price point. The cheese croissant and spinach pie was amazing. Chai latte and ice matcha latte was also very tasty. I’ve dropped Starbucks revently and started getting my morning coffee from this neighborhood gem.

Iced mocha and breakfast croissant at my go to coffee shops on UES for a beautiful sunny day. They still run free coffee promotion and the staffs are always friendly/nice!

Usually Im a big fan of matto, but this location/ products were disappointing - the coffee cake was a bit dry and the iced chai latte was way too sweet. Shoudl have gone with the hot chai which never dissappoints. Still would def come again- cannot best these prices! Make sure to download the app beforehand.

My day started out full of positive energy! Thank you! These days, I have been trying to tune out what people say or do because of all the negative depressing noises around me. I have been meditating on what Corrie ten Boom said once before “if you look at the world, you will be distressed; if you look within, you will be depressed; but if you look at Christ, you will be at rest.” But now, I want to say be hopeful, remain sanguine. Welcome any opportunity for growth, transform the tumbling block into a stepping stone. It will be better soon.

Coffee the equal of Starrbucks at about half the price with a small selection of desserts. I, surprisingly, enjoy the vegetarian croissaint.

Delicious WARM almond croissant and espresso and such friendly staff, I feel like I've left NY and am in a local community cafe! I ducked in to find a place to pull up my computer to try and get Taylor Swift tickets. The staff even offered me a seat after a prolonged visit!
