Loved the ring and my proposal. Did not love seeing the band was scratched up before ever wearing it and the side of the band next to the setting is crooked. Thinking it should be no problem to pop into a location to get fixed, then learning that they don't have any jewelers on site and would have to send it out. When I asked how long, 2 to 3 weeks. On a ring thats over $20k and they can't even have jewelers present to inspect or fix. They clearly didn't inspect this before sending it to my fiance. I've made it clear to everyone I know to never bother with this company. It's a joke.

My partner and I had a great experience looking at engagement rings at Brilliant Earth. This was our first (and hopefully only) time ring shopping, so it was important to us that we could take our time and have someone help us. Our consultant, Julie Shin, was incredibly professional and patient with our many questions and requests to see custom stones and not only answered all our questions, but put in multiple orders of pieces we had an interest in seeing over a few appointments—I highly recommend booking with her. Julie also helped us with upfront pricing so that we were able to stay within budget and know exactly what to expect with insurance/protection, taxes and shell life of metals and materials. Some things to know about viewings: Appointments are an hour long in the showroom, custom gemstones and colored diamonds need to be requested in advance, some ring settings from the site are not in the showroom and will need to be ordered for a viewing, so it's best to really do research online ahead of time to utilize the hour seeing what you're interested in without having to make several appointments. Some diamonds or gemstones also require a refundable deposit for viewings. Each appointment slot only allows two people with your consultant and time slots only have a few other people in attendance with other consultants, so it doesn't get too overwhelming or crowded in the showrooms. Overall we felt really great about getting a ring from Brilliant Earth because they have so many styles to choose from–including a huge variety of lab diamonds, most importantly to us was that they have friendly, patient staff members and market that their stones are ethically sourced.

I went to the Brilliant Earth showroom to look at engagement rings and get sized. I had an idea of what I wanted as far as an oval diamond and a yellow gold setting but nothing more than that, and I had my eye on one of the settings at Brilliant Earth so it made sense to go and try it on. I loved that Brilliant Earth took time pre-appointment to ask questions about what styles and rings I was interested in looking at to make sure they had it in store for me on the day of. My appointment was with Mary Eddy and she was SO helpful through the process! We tried on a bunch of different styles, a lot of which were along the same style as the original setting I had my eye on. She also took the time to explain the 4 C's with me and really go through my preferences, along with differences between lab grown vs natural. I wasn't someone who went in the appointment knowing too much about the C's, so it was so great to be able to talk it through with her and decide what was best for me and my personal style and preferences. At the end of my appointment, we emailed my preferences over to my boyfriend who then made an appointment with Mary to choose the stone based on the preferences we discussed. I did end up going with the Versailles setting that I had my eye on and fell in love with, but I ended up realizing that the carat size I had in mind was much bigger than I preferred once seeing it on my hand. That goes to show you that trying on rings and seeing it on your hand is SO important. You really never know what looks good on you until you do. I'm so over the moon with the final product and my now fiance proposed last week in Hawaii. If it wasn't for Mary, I probably wouldn't have my DREAM ring so thank you so much Mary and Brilliant Earth. I couldn't be more obsessed with my ring! I couldn't say any more amazing things about this company -- highly recommend! We can't wait to go back for our wedding band session. :)

The shipping was incredibly smooth, and my package arrived in perfect condition and within the expected timeframe. The staff at the showroom were extremely friendly and helpful, making the whole process a breeze. I appreciated how easy it was to customize my earrings and choose the perfect diamonds. Had a lovely appointment with Sydney at the NYC location to pick an engagement ring for both myself and my boyfriend. The showroom is beautiful with an intimate feel. The health and safety measures due to the pandemic were appropriate. Brilliant Earth has such a wide variety of stunning unique setting options and stones.We had ideas of what type of rings and diamond we were looking for and had sent specific ideas beforehand. Sydney was wonderful and had those settings and examples of various diamonds available for us to try on and choose from. The experience felt seamless and low stress. Was able to easily hone in on the exact ring and diamond I wanted, as well as my boyfriend with his band. Sydney was a great listener, patient, and knowledgable - we appreciated her very much! We were able to finalize and purchase both rings by the end of the appointment. Delivery options were also easy, choosing between picking up at the NYC location vs our home vs a FedEx location near our home. Left overjoyed with our choices, can't wait for the proposal! We will definitely be going back to BE for our wedding bands.

Absolutely love brilliant earth jewelry! Also, the showroom staff was amazing. I booked my appointment for the wrong day and they were able to fit me in and give me dedicated service. The person helping me was very patient as I went through a selection of rings and helped identify what it was I liked and disliked about certain rings to help find me the perfect ring! She also helped my fiancé look at rings, even though he ended up not getting one that day. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend this brand for their sustainable, earth friendly jewelry.

Hubs was looking for a Christmas present for me and after some research, we decided on purchasing from Brilliant Earth. I had spoken with an online assistant who helped me compare the different sapphire cuts and sizes online. That was convenient on its own. I later scheduled an appointment to visit the on-site location (I’m so glad I did!). Mya assisted me during my visit and helped me decide on the setting. We compared natural and lab-grown sapphires during our visit. She also followed up via email after the visit as well. Overall great customer service :) Loved the experience!

It was a pleasure working with Michelle in the showroom and fun trying on all the different options for our upcoming wedding. We had such a great experience picking out engagement rings we came back for wedding band options. We loved the personalized by appointment shopping experience and never felt pushed to make purchases or choices on the spot like it feels in a busy showroom without personal consultations. The showroom is beautiful and clean and appointments are limited each day where we’ve only ever shared space with maybe one other couple at some point in our visit. My significant other and I had 3 appointments with Mary Eddy at Brilliant Earth and we had an absolutely wonderful experience at the NYC showroom. Our first appointment with Mary was a general engagement ring appointment. This helped us feel more comfortable around the overall design we wanted for an engagement ring as well as the 4 Cs when it comes to picking a diamond. Our second appointment helped us finalize the specific band, setting, and diamond we wanted to move forward with and our final appointment was a very smooth pick-up of the final product. This was an overall amazing experience and I am looking forward to coming back to pick out wedding bands in the near future!

Brilliant Earth We didn't want to feel uncomfortable when we made the decision to shop for the perfect ring to symbolize our journey of love & life after being married over 20 years. After my wife did the research on the type of stone she wanted, we wanted to get a stone that was mined properly and had all of the paperwork. After careful online research and afterwards watching a TV news story about the most reputable places to buy gem stones, we happily decided on Brilliant Earth! Wow this is the place that you will feel welcomed when you arrive and when we met Michelle we knew this was the right place to make the investment in something beautiful and set exactly the way she wanted it. The entire process was professionally handled and every email or call we made was returned promptly. Convenient Manhattan location and discreet so when you finally make the decision to purchase an amazing piece you will be extremely happy when you see what YOU created. Be creative or be traditional but never worry about where your stones come from. Wife told me that my review was really good and she's speechless.

I do not recommend this company at all. I tried to request a refund and was made aware of their no refund policy after 30 days. They said I could by another ring and 50 % of the value of my current engagement ring would be used as credit for another ring. I told them I don’t want another ring I just want some kind of reimbursement for my ring. Right now I’m out $6,700. And it’s lab grown, I’ve gone to other jewelers and get told they could get the same ring for $600 and “sorry my friend but you were ripped off and taken advantage of”.

5 stars! Had been looking for a lab-grown diamond for quite some time and came upon Brilliant Earth as one of the recommended companies. What really drew me into Brilliant Earth as opposed to its competitors like Clean Origin or James Allen was the in-person showroom appointments and service. And let me tell you, it made all the difference! This was my first time purchasing a ring, and I was very nervous about the process (so much so that I brought my mom along with me for quality consultation lol). We worked with Michelle, who was so patient and attentive to us. We met with her twice, and by that second appt she knew exactly what we were looking for and proactively came with several viable options for us to consider purchasing. It was so helpful to be able to talk with Michelle and inspect the diamonds in person; all my nerves were calmed. I definitely am so glad to be walking away with a ring that my partner and I love!

I had difficulty with the sizing of my ring, and we were worried that it could not be sized as needed. But thanks to tremendous efforts by Brilliant Earth we were able to get the ring sized as needed. Madeline, Colleen, and especially Conrad all worked with me through the process of selecting the diamond, designing the ring, and working with a series of logistical problems cause in part by challenges in shipping due to the pandemic. Conrad in particular worked with me to try to help us get the perfect ring perfectly sized. My partner is now extremely happy with the ring, and I am very grateful for the staff at Brilliant Earth doing so much to help us. We will certainly be purchasing her wedding band from Brilliant Earth to match this gorgeous ring!
