Diana was a HUGE help to me yesterday! Diana is an experienced knitter, and even right at the end of the day, she really kindly & patiently walked & talked me through choosing some essential tools, a good project book to build up from my basic skills, and showed me around the right kind of yarn to get for those types of projects. I had a lot of questions and difficulty deciding; she provided thoughtful answers and helped narrow my choices with her considerate manner. Exactly the experience & advice a beginner would need to feel welcomed into a craft and encouraged onto the right path to the next step in upskilling! Thanks so much! Made my shopping trip *much* more effective than just buying a mountain of pretty yarns!!

Bought a denim jacket for My Grandaughter for her Birthday. Picked out these iron on transfers. I did end up by catch stitching them in place to be sure they stayed on in the wash. She loved it so much that i bought another jacket for her friends Birthday & did the same but a rainbow & Stars. Thanks spotlight for having such a huge collection to choose from. Two very happy Girls.

Very friendly and fast service. Not a big store compare to stores in other cities so narrower isles to navigate through. It still has everything that a typical Spotlight shop offers. Ample parking spaces out in front but given this is an old shopping centre site, those parking spaces are small and tight. There are other shops/cafe/Fast food in the vicinity so can get all you shopping done in one go. Overall a pleasant shopping experience and will return again. Recommending for others to visit the store.

Helpful Staff but seriously understaffed. Might have to wait 30 minutes to get assistance. Kinda ridiculous really. I have noticed lots of reviews have mentioned this

This is easily my favorite shop in town. I usually find everything I need and the service is friendly and helpful. I made these reusable makeup cleansers with 100% cotton yarn from Spotlight.

Went to get some paper machete treasure chests they couldn't find them so was told to buy online but their website was out of order for the whole day and up to 10 o'clock at night when I gave up ànf brought from a craft shop in south island which was same price but came with 2 smaller treasure chests inside , sometimes the big players aren't cheaper and customer friendly, 1 star

For around your home Spotlight is the place to go to. There is plenty of stock on the shelves and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
