The best Japanese restaurant in Blenheim!!!Staff were very welcoming, The restaurant has such a lovely cosy and homely atmosphere. The food was so delicious. We tried a range of dishes and were amazed by each one. And drink was so fancy and good combination with the food, we recommend “Sake”. Definitely will come back again !!!

Real japanese taste!! Highly recommended , I order Kamo(duck) negi Bao its was so yummy also Curry with pork fillet katsu too good. Staff was so nice.I will back for sure

They service authentic Japanese and Korean style cuisines. The server gave us nice guide and the food was too fantastic, the starter and main are all impressed. It's a dining restaurant hiding in a hotel which you definitely won't regret to dig it.

If u miss Japanese or Asia flavor, please don’t hesitate to have SASA tonight. Squid chilli impressed me and it’s truly spicy like its name, yum! Stuffed mushrooms is my favorite one, must try it! Juicy, crunchy n comfortable, such a rich taste starter. Also, please enjoy their after meals desserts, such as cheesecake n ice cream, Fantastic! Nice environment and friendly staffs! Good dining experience.

Great tasting Asian food at a cozy restaurant in the heart of Blenheim. Helpful and kind staff will take care of you. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Located inside The Riverside Hotel down Nelson street, Blenheim Is Restaurant Sasa, Japanese cuisine. You can sit inside or by the pool. A beautiful setting. I recommend the Sashimi it was so fresh and delicious. Well done.

I have dined here 3 times and each time the food has been fantastic. Three standout dishes for me are the duck curry, the duck bao buns and Korean style chicken nibbles. I'll definitely come back when I'm back in Blenheim.

I had dinner with my family in sasa today .Great food and nice atmosphere. They have modern Japanese food , traditional Japanese alcohol which is sake as well. We enjoyed meals and talked with kind staff . Everything was great 👍 I think Sasa is the best Japanese restaurant in Blenheim . We will recommend our friends to go there 😀

Everything was just perfect, just that we can’t try all the menus. The service was excellent and the food are all amazing. My favorites will be Squid chili crunch and Sticky chicken, spicy and really tasty. Strongly recommended to try the Japanese cheesecake and green tea ice cream after meals, you won’t regret it.

This has to be hands down one of our favorite restaurants in Blenheim. It's tucked away inside a hotel, I think one thing I'd suggest is maybe some nice music playing during dinner and some candles or mood lighting, but apart from that, it's absolutely incredible. The food is outstanding, it's a Japanese Asian style and each dish we've ever had there is memorable. The entrées are our fav, from the tasty housemade Gyozas to the succulent Karaage nibbles with their spicy honey mayo dip to the Squid Chilli Crunch with chilli and coriander to the melt in your mouth Buta Kakuni which comes with a silky, sweet broth....omg you just got to try these for yourself because they are insanely delicious. They have amazing mains as well. You have to try Miso teriyaki crispy chicken. Their menu has a perfect selection and also has an incredible menu for those who are gluten-free, which is awesome. Great drink selections, too. Total compliments to the amazing chef, keep doing what you do....Blenheim has a real treasure in this cute restaurant. The staff are always lovely and friendly, the food is quick to the table. It's a buzzing little restaurant, so make sure you book a table in advance. Plenty of parking as well. We would 100% recommend Sasa Restaurant to anyone living in Blenheim or visiting you will not be disappointed.

Delicious food, excellent service and cheerful staff. It's a little bit noisy at times, but it was busy and not a big place so that's to be expected. While I'm neither vegan or gluten intolerant, I think the separate menus in an different colours is a great idea for people who are.

Absolutely hands-down as good as any restaurant in Japan! We will definitely go back. Amazing food and service, beautifully situated with lovely garden and pool views from the restaurant. The Japanese plum wine was delicious and a must-try for everyone!

Food was great, but service was slow. Friendly staff though. I found the surf and turf a bit to expensive for the portion I received. Took a very long time to get our drinks. We would have preferred to atleast have our drinks served earlier so we could wait for our food. The flavours were great so no problem with the quality of food that was served.
