Utterly beautiful beach. We are so lucky to be able to have access to such spectacular beaches.

I arrived on a bit of a rough day but was able to take my Dog for a walk. Nice Beach and scenery.

Another wide stretch of public beach easy to walk along or have dog's sprint around. The parking lot we parked at had a toilet, but then you've got to cross over the dune pathwah to access the beach. Much less surf here than around the corner.

Delightful place to overnight stay. Beautiful sandy beach with safe swimming. Clean, well maintained toilets. A new favourite.

Gorgeous bay, perfect little waves for boogie boarding with kids.

we enjoyed the long walk along the beach. At the time there were spectacular rough waves, note that there are no life guards on the beach

If you are looking for a large sandy beach with open ocean and a bit of space to spread out then this would be a good spot to check out. Plenty of car parking and only a short (but winding) drive from Tutukaka. Take care on those bends!
