Very slow service and poorly made subs. zero urgency from young, unmotivated and seemingly oblivious workers. This is peak unskilled whangarei.

Worst service ever if you want a quick lunch do not go here. The staff are clearly under trained and have no idea what customer service is as we were first in line the girl making the sandwich decided her friends that came in were more important and left our subs waiting while she made small talk and made their food! I asked if they had a manager there and there was not, which was really no surprise. I told them they were really slow and needed to do better they didn’t even look at me and said nothing. I am appalled to have gone here and spent money for these so called “subway artists” to have made my cold sandwich. Do better subway group your training is obviously ineffective.

Warning: No Paywave (no excuses, won't be back until that is fixed). Not accessible (my wife chose to stay outside while I ordered. Tight space when customers are waiting). Workers didn't seem very happy or attentive, but friendly and did reply when spoken to.

It was good, they have their tape markers out for where to stand. The young lady who served me was really nice and moved as quickly as she could. The only problem I have is when a few more customers turned up and she called out to her co-worker Glen to come and help he just looked at her and stayed in the back. The food is always good though and sandwiches are packed also they add such a good amount of sauce it fabulous xx

Loved it!! When I walked in I was greeted by an amazing staff member named Sera, great customer service. Also remember a lady named Lilly, where did she go? She was great just like Sera! I would really recommend getting air conditioning for this place, it's starting to get HAWT! 🤠 Put on your hats! Thank you to all the staff that make this place great!

This place varies a lot, always friendly staff but the quality of how the sandwiches are made is poor. Lots of the time the salad you get is very minimal and you feel like you've come away with half a sandwich. Don't go here of you are in a hurry

Poor service from some extremely unenthusiastic staff who were more worried about the hair over their cap then saying hello or acknowledging you. 3 kids with miserable attitudes running the show.

Extremely poor and disgraceful service from the lady who obvious does not like serving customers who totally ignored me. I spent my money elsewhere!! happened today 13-10-22 and last week by same lady. That's twice now at the Okara Subway NZ!! So won't be going back.

Obviously the Franchise Owners (Cardin Family) have no regard for their business, this has to be one of the worst Subway restaurants ever. The customer service does not exist, no acknowledgement from staff, stood there waiting to be served with 3 other customers behind me after no response from staff all customers behind me walked out. Seems their online order was more important than customers in the store..... Can't blame the staff its Management's lack of direction or does any management even exist.... Come on "Cardins" start caring about your franchise, Absolutely appalling. Be the last time I ever go back there again! Don't recommend at all! And the amount of staff turnover clearly demonstrates something is not right at a higher level!

Lovely staff and service! However there is no aircon or fan in store!! Definitely a health and safety hazard in the summer. As soon as I walked in the heat was insane. Please get your staff a fan or something!!

On my last visit to this Subway not to long ago was not good at all. Since it is summer time right now. At this Subway there is flys all over the place near the subway sandwiches been made and also fly's landing on the sandwiches. I told them I see a fly on my sandwich they didn't care and just expected me to still pay for the sandwich no refund and no new sandwich offered to me. They who served me only asked another worker if the sprays were working in store I don't think the sprays were working at all since there was flys every where. I would not be buying from this Subway restaurant in summer that is for sure. I may not buy my subway sandwiches from there again.

45 minutes to make two subs. The place has gone down hill. Egg wasn’t cooked properly, not toasted tho asked. Staff couldn’t care less.

I ordered sub they put one veggie petty and when I asked they said don’t have more and I asked if they can put some falafel and plz pack veggies petty separately. They want to charge more by saying I order two separate sandwiches.I was used to get sub from there but this was my worst experience ever. Prefer not to get anything. They don’t know how to deal and communicate with customers.
