Seriously I love this place. Best part the sea front walk way, happy friendly people, happy friendly dogs. Clean public toilets great kids play grounds awesome fairy community, wonderful beach.

Nice freedom camping in a well maintained/ nicely landscaped reserve. Lovely safe, clean beach. Nice walking paths over full length of beach. Quite a populated area....very dog friendly! Popular for wind surfers. Great views to Kawau Island.

Such a great beach to visit. I love how long the beach is. So many options on where to sit. Vehicle access is good to park up close to where you sit/swim/explore is handy. There's a kids playground also.

Perfect beach for the littlies as the waves are very very small. Nice amount of parking right at the beach front. Really big park there for the kids too

Not a great beach, tide moves way out. Nice walks but lots of dogs. Depends what you want to do. It was a one night stop over for us. Wouldn't stay any longer.

Love this beach, so safe and sheltered; easy to launch boats, great for kayaking, wind surfing, long board paddling,swimming.

Great spot to go for a walk. It is nice to walk along the sand one way then on the return to walk along the concrete path. There are wooden tables and plenty of seats available and also toilets. Also a childrens play area with swings, etc. Nice big grass area as well.
