It was a very good experience. Nice vibe. French toast was unique but good, personally recommend to fellows. The smoke salmon was fab!! Just $3 when adding on. However, the Benedict was a bit disappointed as the sauce was not as expected and the toast are quite thick, just personally not a fan as it’s a-bit difficult to bite 😓 The portion was just nice. Not too much, not too little. In terms of noise, it was acceptable, can feel the busyness here. Overall, good to be here. I shall return.

It was a busy day today as the hangovers crammed into soak up any leftover alcohol from last night but despite that service was great! Dad had the typical big brekky and I went outside my comfort zone and invested in el quesadilla and I was NOT disappointed seriously yous have to break out of the eggs Benny and try this spicy chorizo, crispy bacon smashed avo pineapple chutney scrammbled egg mash up it's a winner! Service was on tee Coffee was great Met expectations and exceeded Also would be great for a large group meal etc Prices were normal but meals were good! So value for moola Thanks guys appreciate the team play:)

Beautiful breakfast, lovely flavours. I found the menu very workable which is usually a challenge for me. The portions were generous which absolutely justified it's price. I selected it based on previous reviews which did not disappoint. When I arrived, I was extremely impressed by the massive quality range in the bakery case, as usually I find very limited at most places, it is suited to many tastes. This place caters to the many and does not compromise on quality. It was busy on Monday morning and I know why!

We came here as a group after hearing so much about Unknown Chapter. The food was really good and definitely lived up to the hype. Great atmosphere and great service. The food came out really quickly given that they were extremely busy

Best breakfast, great vibe and setting, even better service. Food was superb, even catered for the young ones (see photos), the service was top notch. Cherry on top was the coffee. Very very good 🤘

Great location on St Asaph St where all the trendy cafes and restaurants are. Near the Boxed Quarter and SALT square. Cool vibes with hanging green plants from the celing and bustling atmosphere. Self-service when ordering and paying for food/drinks. Freshly made items on the cabinet. Classic brunch menu. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Some twists on food would be in line with those of Sydney of Melbourne.

Busy for a reason! Quick service, friendly staff and delicious food. The filo pastry with Moroccan chicken and cream cheese was the bomb 🤌🏽

Really cool little cafe, super busy on a Saturday morning but we were seated quickly and our meals served in a timely manner. Really lovely meals and well presented. Really good value for money too with breakfast costing $70 for both of us including a drink. I had the salad and it was a great sized serving and very flavourful. The only issue I have with the cafe is: My son and I found it difficult to converse due to the massive amount of people and their conversation. I liked the polished concrete floors however the sound just bounces around with all that glass and concrete, they need to add some soft wall hangings or something to absorb it a bit.

This is the only cafe in CHCH you need to go to. I've been to my fair share of average cafes and this one blew them out of the park. First off the coffee is dark and strong, just how I like it. And the highly recommended French toast definitely lives up to the hype. The eggs benedict was good although I prefer to have a hash stack over crunchy bread. And the cabinet food selection is decent. It is a popular spot so would recommend booking a table if you have a group. Staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

The cafe that will never disappoint you in terms of coffee and food. The food is consistently 5* and long black is 6*. MUST GO for coffee lover. Missed the coffee after moving to Auckland so will pop in whenever back in town as can't find the consistent good level of coffee in Auckland. Great vibe and always packed so will be challenging to find a seat if you pop in at the peak hours.

The wait to get in can be long without a booking. We didn't know that you had to go up to the counter to order though. The water glasses are really warm, but the water is nice and cool. I recommend letting the glass cool down so that your water doesn't heat up. (I know that it's normal but still). I ordered French toast and it was delicious, it was nice and warm too. I love this place, I'd gladly go again.

A very popular spot. Especially at peck times. We went at 9.45am and just got a table outside (worth the small wait). Lovely FOH staff, great portion size & beautiful coffee.

I've been here a few times now, always ordering a decaf flat white extra hot. I'm happy to report that their product is the best I've encountered so far in town. Specifically, the coffee has a good strong flavoursome bite unlike all other cafés I've been to here. Wait time is very good even when busy and they take your order without needing to give you an order number thingy to place on your table. So there's much good at work in this very popular spot. Well done.

We had a fantastic morning snack at UCC We loved the friendly people and the very tasty Cappuccino and Chai Latte. The Avocado Smah with Egg was super yummy and the bacon and cheese sandwich was very delicious This place seems always full, that’s a good indication! One of the best breakfast/brunch places I’ve ever had! The place gets quite packed even on weekdays so I recommend coming earlier to secure a seat. Food was delicious too! Shared three dishes with my family of four since the portions were also quite big. The coffee also hit the spot- highly recommend going for their oat latte:) There’s plenty of other food options available too. Sending love from Singapore!

What do you do when you find yourself in this part of town that you are not familiar with, and with a couple of hours to spare while waiting for your child's birthday party to end..? I rarely give 5 stars for everything as I feel we always have potential to improve. To be better, to be better than what we picture ourselves can achieve. I fortuitously find myself in a lovely perfect space. The coffee was great, right temp, right taste 😊. As it was later in the day, I got myself a chicken feta cashew filo. It's one of the yummiest I had so far. I'm impressed by the quality of the ingredients and price. Great balance going. 👍🏻 The place was packed, so it was hard to get pictures with empty seats. Did managed some what. So overall. 👋🏻 5 Stars ⭐ for us. Usually cafes are often visited in transit. This is one Cafe that will be on our list of destination. Well done crew.

Very cool cafe, exceptional service & no extra charge for cream with a long black. Beautiful looking cabinet food & a wide variety of drinks on offer. Loads of plants hanging and framing the open inviting space. Loads of tables with indoor/outdoor options. Delicious milkshakes & great coffee! Would definitely recommend and find a reason to go back!

Really great place!! I had heard really great things about this place so I know I HAD to go with my friend. We found a table straight away and the atmosphere was busy but nice. There was a wide range of cabinet food as well as a nice menu of food and drinks. We ordered the French toast and Benedict, which both came really fast which was lovely (give or take 15 minutes). Bacon was an extra $6 for French toast but I was given heaps of pieces which was lovely. Both meals were super lovely and I would DEFINITELY come back. My new favourite café in Ōtautahi!! Thanks for the lovely brunch guys :)))

Such a beautiful location with so many incredible plants hanging overhead! This place is always absolutely packed and it's very clear why... the food is absolutely delicious and the selection of sweet treats does not disappoint either! The coffee is great too and the staff are so cool and collected they pump out the orders despite an extremely busy cafe. Will definitely be back!

Seated fast. Was extremely busy. Sat for a while wasn't sure if we were meant to go up and order at the counter. So asked waitress and she took order. Quite a bit of time passed and I flagged waitress down. They had forgotten about order but offered free drinks while we waited. Then the food came very fast. Sausage was yum. Coffee brilliant. Love the plants. Can't imagine how they cope been that busy. Waitress staff were very good.

t's the best coffee I've ever tasted. Not enough variety of coffee. The cafe was busy and had to order at the counter, but the food and coffee were delivered quickly. The staff are friendly.

First time visiting today and it was superb! Busy Saturday morning but was served quickly. I didn't order from the menu but got the corn fritters from the cabinet and they were yum! All the meals being served around me looked delicious. Will definitely be back! Super cool place. Noisy but that's a small price to pay.
