We’ve visited the shop a couple of times since opening and they have a great range of bread. The shop is quirky and a lot of thought has gone into styling and presentation. The doughnuts are delicious and if you’re lucky enough to get one when they are warm you are in for a treat. Last night we tried their pizza for the first time. We bought one of each pizza and experimented with a Grandma D’s special. The pizzas were flawless, unique flavours. The cheese was excellent and the tomato base was flavoursome. The children loved the pizzas too. Our only “complaint” about the GMaD’s special was that the base was so filling it made it hard to try one of all the other slices.. but the concept was great and we loved the fresh salad on top. Impeccable customer service. Thanks for an awesome meal!

I got wind of a place in Lincoln that did good pizza. So I said to my friend 'I'll be the judge of that' being a pizza connoisseur myself. I walked into Dalante's and saw the wood fired oven, this looks promising. I saw loaves of bread, this is already looking like an affair to me. I then saw baked goods in the form of donuts, mascapone puff pastry with berries on top.....stop it I said as I forgot I had my girlfriend by my side. I then ordered a puff pastry and a pizza and forgot to consult my girlfriend as at this point she didn't exist....I quickly redeemed myself. Service was great! So friendly and welcoming being a virgin to this amazing place. The food was next level yummy, so simple yet so traditional as it should be. I did ask 'do you serve coffee', unfortunately not but the girl behind the counter recommended a place next door. So I thought while I sin in my new favourite food shop I'll send my girlfriend to get coffee while we waited for the food. 10/10 for everything there. Yummy coffee, yummy pizza and yummy cream pastry. I will be back so watch out Dalante...you have a new admirer.

Wonderful staff, welcoming and great service. Freshly baked bread daily - my personal favourite and a great selection. Also plenty of takeaway meal and dine in options along with refreshing cold drink selection. Well worth a visit.

Had been told the food was good so decided to stop in, grabbed a meat sandwich, I can honestly say it was the best sandwich I have ever had. I am now pretty sure I am addicted to this place. Totally amazing food, service was fantastic and the shop is very nice and relaxing. Also portions for the sandwich was massive. 1 sandwich cut in half, 1 half is heaps for a feed and the other half later for dinner. Highest recommendations for this place to eat.

My absolute favorite take away. I got the falafel plate to take away and it was so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was made with care. This is an absolute gem! It’s hard to find such delicious yet healthy take out.

Fantastic Margherita pizza! Cool to have the wood fired oven and prep area in view too, the passion of the chef was clearly evident. Only thing missing was a glass of wine.

Delicious four-meat sandwiches! Huge portions! Fresh baked bread! Delicious condiments! Excellent value for money! Perfecto!

This place is so cute! Food was delicious and pretty well priced! Their pita sandwich was on another level, how did they get the pita so soft?! It's like a fluffy pillow. The décor is so adorable and really sets the scene, great for brunch dates. They do takeout as well, and the staff are super friendly. Wishing this place all the best, honestly one of my fave new spots!

This is a must-visit in Lincoln. By far the best food in town, and probably one of the best pizza places in New Zealand. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Their wood-fired pizzas in particular are excellent. The owner and pizza chef pays incredible attention to details. The pepperoni was spread evenly, crust perfectly golden, and he even packed the basil in a separate bag to ensure it wasn't wilted and soggy by the time we got home. Definitely call your order in ahead of time if you prefer wood-fired over deck oven: This place gets very busy, with good reason!

OMG-eee is all I can say! What an amazing little find. Their pizza was amazing, such flavour and perfect base and their donuts were even better - what a treat. Great service and atmosphere. The 03 definitely needs more authentic places like this <3
