Sushi taste not bad, many people here during lunch time. Good one.

I'm not a sushi lover at all, but my lunch at this place changed my mind. I actually went to Thai restaurant but decided to give sushi a chance and, omg, it was one of the best decisions of the day😂 So many options to choose,veges, chiken, calamari, just impressing size, price and taste🤤I guess everyone can find something. I don't like a dry seaweed taste, but I still could enjoy niguiri, fried fish balls and bbq tuna sushi, highly recommended this place👌the queue was endless during lunch time, so be ready to wait a bit👌😊😊

This place is dangerously good, What I mean by dangerous is that every piece that they sell is so good that i literally pack my container up with NO CARE about the price, It’s so good that when I look at the -$30 sun court sushi in my bank account I don’t even mind. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS, A personal thing about me is that I LOVE MAYO WITH ALL MY HEART and lucky for me + everyone who loves mayo too, they have a self serve mayo + A SPECIAL SAUCE. Sorry suncourt sushi I’m the reason you always run out of mayo BUT ITS SO PERFECT AND DELICIOUS. Here’s some advice when you come here, if it looks good but you’ve never tried it GET IT, Unfortunately i done this and now I have 10 more sushi’s I put into my container because they’re just to good . THANK YOU SUNCOURT SUSHI, Everytime I come here we go straight to the lake front and demolish our sushi, And every single time even tho it’s hundreds of times, I can’t wait to go back. Freaken awesome selection of beautifully crafted sushi 🍣 There was a line out the door and through the courtyard.. so worth the wait.

I was wanting to take a Sashimi Tuna Platter to a function and I knew Taupo had a few Sushi places. To my surprise i only manage to find two. The first one was too expensive for 9 pieces. Then I found this place Suncourt Sushi. I was so happy when the lady said yes we can and their prices were reasonable. I got my Tuna Sashimi Platter it looked so pretty on the plate and I got a little extra it made my day I definitely would recommend this place to anyone thank you.

Self serve sushi restaurant. Decently priced, free wasabi and ginger at the cashier. The sushi was too sweet for my taste, but it's Americanized sushi so the sweetness is normal. Seating is fairly limited but you have the option of taking the food away in a plastic container. Everything is disposable except for the plates.

Everytime I came to Taupo, I will come to buy their sushi ! Very large portion, yummy and tasty ! This is my second times and I will come back again and recommended all my friends and relatives to visit this sushi shop ! 😍

Correct asian food for correct prices. Some of the pieces were a bit dry. There are a few tables outside and inside as well.

This is the best sushi you’ll have in Taupo! So many choices, and my favourite you can add kewpie mayo to your pieces at the end.

Great spot for sushi, stopped on the way through and was pleasantly surprised by how yummy it was. Each item I chose, which there was a good selection from, I thought was good quality. Would definitely go back.

Pick your own sushi by counter, price per piece is reasonable, quite fresh and delicious. Good for a quick lunch or snacks.

Fantastic selection of sushi, both hot and cold. Labelled well and presented beautifully. Self service was great and staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely place to eat. Clean and tidy shop. Definitely will be back when we pass through Taupo again.

Went in today and WOW!! HANDS DOWN MOST DOPEST SUSHI I'VE EVER HAD IN NZ!! GOOD WASABI! NOT THE WATERED DOWN BS. THIS WAS AWESOME! CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

If you like sushi, this place is a MUST, great value for money, low prices and lots of ingredients on each piece. Great for travelers on budget if you are craving for sushi. Staff is very nice, you can eat there or take away. Lots of different options, beef, chicken, salmon, veggie etc... I’ll be back everytime I want sushi. Go early if you want to try all the different options, is so good that everything will be gone before closing

Sushi was alright. But I haven’t seen plastic packaging at a sushi joint in NZ in years, not only this but some sushi rolls are wrapped in glad wrap. They should really consider the environment

Fresh sushi, decent prices and excellent flavor -- what more could you ask for?! The portion sizes are generous and the staff is friendly. The only thing I wish was that they were open with later hours and all days.

Had the BBQ Tuna and my gosh it was better than I had imagined. Definitely recommend getting that and the salmon was nice with rice that doesn't crumble so it's very satisfying to eat. Can't wait to visit again!
