What an incredible experience! I was a little nervous going in as this was my first time skydiving, but as soon as I got chatting with all of the instructors, all the nerves went away. They all make you feel so comfortable and make sure you have the best experience. Liam D was my instructor and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to be strapped to as I plummet out of the sky. He was so kind, informative and super funny. Thankful for him and the rest of the crew for making the day so fun - such beauties! My boyfriend was teamed up with Andrew G and he was incredible as well! 👏👏👏 My sister came to Taupo Tandem 7 years ago and made sure I went here as well and now I know why. 12/10 recommend. Oh, and the skydiving itself was the most surreal experience. If you’re debating it, just send it! Disclaimer: These are just screenshots from my video, not the pics they take!

First time skydiving and tandem master Adam made me feel so assured that I’d be safe and encouraged me to have fun. Really appreciated it! Views were out of this world, overall amazing experience! Definitely worth going for 🪂

My skydiving experience was great, totally recommended, an activity that you have to try at least once in your life. In addition, I couldn't have been better accompanied, my instructor Adam explained everything to perfection and made me relax, he is also very nice and funny. My experience was excellent

My first time skydiving in 2019 was at this location, and it was absolutely a phenomenal experience. I did the 15,000 ft jump as part of a Contiki trip, and despite being 102kg they were willing to make an exception that day due to good weather (max is 100kg) and allow me to jump. What an exhilarating time! The instructors were amazing, and the quality of the photos afterwards were unmatched. Would definitely go back here.

Very pleased with our experience at this Skydiving operation. The staff and skydiving instructors were freindly all round. In particular Ben D was a great instructor for someone who wasnt too sure about the whole jumping out of a plane. There is a large "hangout" area which you can hang out in while waiting for your turn. The whole setup was quite streamlined and simple enough. The landing zone being so close is alot of fun being able to watch them come in to land. Having the parachute numbered so you know who is the person is was also great for the spectators.

Have just completed a 15,000ft jump at Taupō Tandem and just have to say an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I went with two friends and initially was very happy just going to watch as I was slightly over the weight limit (100kg) but as it was great conditions they said I could jump (no time to build up any nervousness I told myself). My instructor Benny was a legend, ensuring I was ok through the whole flight, cracking jokes, and being super keen which then rubbed off on me. In fact big shout out to all the instructors who looked after us - Benny, Linley, and Laura. Fantastic team. We went for the Guru media package, which means you get a second skydiver with your instructor who’s there to film your jump - footage was mind blowing btw. And you get a free T-shirt with all the media packages. The cameraman (I unfortunately forgot his name) was great at settling nerves, and between him and Benny were the stars of the show. I could not be happier with the footage and the photos of my jump, they’re just mind blowing. 10/10. If you’ve ever been on the fence about skydiving, I can’t think of a better place to do it. What a day.

My husband and 15 year old boy did it and they loved it!! Instructors were amazing and staff were great.. my 15 year old is already going on he wants to save up and come back for the 16500ft one lol

The most amazing experience ever, thanks too my amazing instructor Laura Bamford, felt so safe and not many nerves and the camera man unfortunately can remember his name for getting some bloody awesome shots and videos! , wanted to do it again the same day! Definitely will be back couple times more!

To fly you need to jump, did my first tandem jump with Taupo Tandem Skydiving & I must admit they have one of the best tandem instructors & staff , they just make you feel so comfortable & confident that you completely forget that you are petrified of the fact that in sometime you will jumping off a plane. My tandem instructor was Matias & it was lovely to jump with him. Linley another tandem instructor who didn’t fly with me but was with someone else on the same plane was super funny & he really helped me relax with his jokes. All in all had the best experience of my life & it was the best birthday gift that I gave myself !! Started saving already for my next jump 🤣😉

It was my first skydiving, jumping from 15000 ft and I had a great experience! My instructor, Benjamin (Benny), took great care in making sure I was feeling okay, geared up properly, and most importantly, having a good time! He made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable! It was really a brilliant experience! The facilities at Taupo Tandem Skydiving are proper and the entire crew is helpful, friendly and supportive, making sure you are very well looked after!

What an amazing experience! Thank you to Laura who was my tandem master. Laura was very knowledgeable and put me at ease. I had the most incredible time and am so happy I decided to go for it after years of thinking it was too scary. Wicked experience and highly recommend Taupō. The scenery is incredible.

My first skydive and I couldn't have felt in safer hands - despite chickening out the day my friends did it and having to come back the next day when I got FOMO from how much fun they had!! There was a long wait to jump because of the changing weather so make sure you allow for this, but they can't control the weather and it's good to know they prioritise safety at all times over everything. Communication about this could have been a bit better but that's a small thing really. Jarod Herrick was a brilliant tandem master, he explained absolutely everything methodically and clearly and answered all my questions even at the last minute! I'm pretty sure I was too stunned when we landed to say thank you properly, but it was a great experience and I'm so pleased I did it!

My experience was amazing. David made the experience even better. As it was my first ever jump, it was pretty nerve recking, but hes professionalism and chating with him along the way carmed my nerves. I can honestly say, it was the best experience ever. Thank you David and the team at Taupo tandem skydiving. I definately will be reccommending you guys and i will definately be back. A+++++++++++

Damian Malkin and the Taupo Tandem Skydive team were outstanding. My first ever skydive and at 15000ft. I didn't know what to expect, but trusted in the knowledge and expertise shown from orientation and during the flight and skydive. Was exhilarating riding the winds of Tawhirimatea above Taupo Moana and Taupo nui a Tia. Yes, I would do it again!

Great experience with my tandem master Laura Bamford. From beginning till the end it was amazing. Infortunately i had to drive myself because i had young children but it wasnt that big of an issue. I came there and everything was fast but relaxed. From start to finish Laura talked me trough what was going to happen and i enjoyed the experience. I was off course nervous but somehow never scared and when you jump out of that plane; WOW. Amazing experience and amazing view. So definately something i want to do again. Thanks guys.

WOW what an amazing experience, I wish I had booked a higher jump so it lasted longer! The free fall barely feels like a free fall, I was expecting a lot worse. The glide down has incredible views of the lake and Taupo. David was informative and extremely good at keeping me calm in the plane. The photo package is 100% worth it!!! You can purchase this on the day right before your jump. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I will be doing again!

Unbelievable experience. I expected to be a lot more nervous for my first jump but the staff make everything fun and stress free. You’re in good hands and the camera work is amazingly good. Highly recommend to anyone!

First of all, A big thank you to my Tandem skydiving instructor G Hemingway! For making the dive so much fun. My instructor was precise and clear with the instructions and also reminded me to be present and take in all the scenery and experience the free fall in all its glory while it's happening, and it was adventurous!, I had a great time!. The Tandem team was a bunch of high energy individuals whose enthusiasm will instantly charge you up, it's safe it's fun and if you get the guru package it's well shot on camera, i regret not making a complete vlog this time but I could always go back and dive again, I will! .. a couple of points for people thinking of doing this: 1) Make sure you clear out your clogged sinuses incase you have a sinus issue. 2)get the guru package, you'll get to keep and cherish the memories forever. (You also get a cool tee shirt) That's it. 👍🏻

I was absolutely stoked with my whole experience, the staff at reception were polite and cheerful, the gear up staff were awesome and my instructor David Du Plessis was professional and comical, cant wait to do it again, and I'm bringing others for the ride

Easy and smooth operations, did the highest point and made me wanted to do another one. However a bit confused about the package, I never got the certificate of jumping from the highest point? Not sure if it is only given by request but surely It’s in the Pro Package listed online.

Had my first skydive at 15000ft with Ricky Anderson. Absolutely Amazing. He made my very Nervous skydive, so much Fun. Definitely a big huge tick of my bucket list...Sorry about the screaming 😱 .. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Words can't explain the excitement from the adrenaline rush, which carried on for hours after the action. Great organisation, great staff, fantastic Tandem Master (Elad Berger) who kept communications going, and I can't wait to go the next step!!!!!!

Diving from sky with Taupo Tandem guys was mesmerizing and one of the amazing adventure of my life. This sport activity was in my bucket list and this team made it comes true. The whole experience was terrific and unforgettable. The team was very well prepared to give us a lifetime experience. We never had second thoughts after arriving at the place. from the booking at the website till the completion, the whole process was a warm and welcoming. Albert Schuerman, my tandem master ensured that I felt safe and enjoyed every bit of it. The skydiver who took photos of my freefall did an incredible job too. I would highly recommend them.

AMAZING experience!!!! The staff were so welcoming, friendly, fun, & totally accommodating! I was jumping for the cancer society but my friends who wanted to jump with me and booked at separate times were accommodated on the day with ease! It was a special moment for me as my first time so was really great to be able to share that with my friends, & the team here made that so easy. Loved my instructor Ian Tomkinson! He was a fountain of knowledge with about 18 years experience of jumping if I remember correctly! He was professional, calm, patient, explained things well, & made me feel so safe!! 😊 He even hummed a little tune in the air just before we jumped to make me feel at ease I think (or he just enjoys his job that much!!! 😁). Wonderful experience. I would DEF recommend it & this place! 👌🏽 Add crystal clear blue skies to the equation (as it was) & that makes a UNFORGETTABLE day! Thank YOU!!!! 🤗
