What a great ride. You get to see parts of the Waikato River you would not. Great for families.

We started off our weekend stay in Taupo with Rapids Jets on Friday afternoon and had the most amazing experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gabe was our driver and was such a great & knowledgeable guide. We were the last cruise of the day so got to take our time and really take in the view of the might river and its beautiful rapids coming down from the dam. We had such a great time we had to go back on Sunday and do it again as our final trip before leaving and coming back home. We had Shannon the second time round and had just as great of a trip as our first. What a way to start and finish our amazing trip!!!! NEVER A DULL MOMENT!!! This was definitely the highlight of my stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a frill seeking, action packed experience. We will definitely be back again next time we’re passing through. Worth the money spent. Better than Huka falls jet boat trip. Would definitely recommend the experience. The drivers give interesting information about the history of the area and movies that had been filmed in the area. Also the are there to have a good laugh with you and enjoy the experience. Shout out to our driver Shannon. Extremely friendly and had everyone in the boat laughing multiple times. Ask to be with Shannon if you can choose your driver. The man deserves a raise 😃

Awesome jet boat ride heading north on the mighty Waikato river from the aratiatia power station. Gabe,our jet boat driver was awesome filling us in on some local knowledge and thrills as he navigated the rapids. It's the third jet boat ride I've been on now, and by far the most fun. Stunning scenery, fast rides, thrills with the 360's.

We had an amazing ride with James today, definitely worth giving it a go for alot of fun and laughs, we had two 10 yr olds with us and they had a blast. Would definitely go again.

Great day out. Initially booked for the afternoon but the staff emailed asking if we could come early due to the weather which luckily we could. Really good fun. Staff very friendly and informative. Recommend for anyone families/groups/couples.

We did the Rapids Jet at Taupo a couple of days ago. I have been in 5 different jet boat rides in Australia and New Zealand in my life so far and this one is the best by far. The 1st rapids are exhilarating the 3rdset were monstrous, what an adrenalin rush. 5 stars out of 5 🌟🤩⭐️🌠🖖

WOW this is one activity that's unbeatable. Best jet boat experience ever and driver Shannon is so funny. After First spin he does a headcount. His jokes are so funny. Full of knowledge and full of skill. Oh and thanks for the drenching lol. Anyone visiting Taupo should put rapid jet as one of the top things they must do in taupo. Jetboating isn't just for young adrenaline junkies. Look forward to next time.

Rapid Jet Boats in Taupo gets a perfect 10 out of 10 from me! I would highly recommend to anyone seeking an adrenaline-pumping adventure. The combination of stunning scenery and great banta from the team made it an unforgettable experience.

Cannot rate the total experience highly enough. From when Rapids Jet waited for us to arrive (went to the opposition by mistake) to our time on the water, the staff were polite and informative and the ride was just great. Well done Rapids Jet.

What an amazing experience. If you are ever in Taupo or passing, then take some time to go to the Rapids Jet. The staff are super friendly and the boats are a lot of fun. The photos they take are also amazing quality and worth the price. Can't wait to come back. 😁🙃🙂

We had Shannon welcome us and help us to gear up. And we had Gabe as our driver last week. Both very friendly and knowledgeable about the area we went down. Great communication as we were given the option to come earlier before the rain set in and we were given plenty of time to get there. We had a great time and highly recommend 😊

Great trip and I thought It was reasonably priced the boat holds nine people and they take you right to the edge of the first power station in the river. You head down stream for a 7.5ks and play in the rapids i the there and back. There are several spots where movies have been made. Cabe the driver was very good and the 360 turns were a lot of fun including the rapid play.

Wonderful and exhilarating. Staff was very kind and patient. We found the pricing a little bit more expensive than what we've had with other jet boat rides/tours. No regrets though. Photos and video was well done. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. Even with covid traffic lights booking in was easy and the standards were good. Since we got there early Gabe told us where to go to see the dam gates open and it was well worth it. The jet boat trip was great and we learnt a lot about the river. Well worth a few splashes for the adrenaline rush! Thanks team!

Beautiful scenic drive to Rapid Jets and the location was great! Staff super friendly & efficient. The ride was fantastic, James gave us lots of thrilled up & down the rapids and 360 spins! He shared info. about that stretch of the Waikato river which was really interesting and the filing of Yogi Bear, The Hobart that was made there. I really recommend the Rapids Jet, 35 mins of exhilaration and prepare to get a little wet….all part of the fun!!!

If you are wanting to experience the speed and thrills in a jet boat, riding the rapids, this is the trip you are looking for! Great for all ages and we all left with smiles on our faces. The beauty of that part of the river is so unique. Highly recommend. Awesome experience. Memories for life.
