Went here to pass the time on a Monday afternoon. The pub has very good selection of craft beers so it was pretty hard to choose which beer to try! I opted to first try out the Mcleods Southern Paradise NZ IPA, which has 7.2% ABV. It has a crisp taste and I could probably down a few more pints if I wanted to. The second beer I tried is the Spring and Fern Oast House Party NZ IPA. There is something off for me in the taste but it was still an OK beer. Overall, I will rate this place a 4.5/5.0!

Lots of hype about the burgers down the street, why waste time waiting when you can have an awesome burger here along with great brews! The pretzel is as good as any in Germany! Delish! Great friendly service and no crazy lines for great food!

Amazing huge flights, great poutine. It was pretty crazy to find a Canadian guy running a restaurant in Queenstown making authentic poutine. Huge portions, great staff and a great location. The price is about right for the quality and quantity in a tourist town. Highly recommend!

Great selection of craft beers and other drinks for the non beer lovers. The Wahoo Chicken was tasty AF The homemade pretzel (you wait 20mins for it to be baked - but meh that’s another round) is worth it! Just go!

Iconic beer house in the centre of Queenstown. The first trip I had to Queenstown in 2019, Smith's had an Epic tap takeover, which was perfect as they're one of my favourite breweries! They've always got one or two of the Smith's IPA challenge beers on tap, so there's always excellent beers to be drank!

Huge selection of New Zealand beers. Get the flight. We ordered the French fries (deliciously seasoned and not too thick). We also go the wings and the cauliflower wings. Loved the honey garlic flavor.

Best soft pretzel in Queenstown! Perfectly salty and totally worth the 20 mins for them to make it fresh.

Called in for a lunch on a Friday. Great chilled out space. A huge selection of beers to chose from. The Poutine had been recommended by a Canadian friend. A great bowl of comfort food for sure. Hero of the day however would be the freshly baked pretzel with Mustard dipping sauce. We'll be back for sure

Many varieties of craft beer to choose and great advice from experienced bartender. Food was very good and portions enormous. Right what one craves after coming down from Ben Lomond 😀

Something like 33 beers to choose from, great for those looking for some variety. Really enjoyed the paddle which was $35 for 6 beers, definitely worth the value. The winner for me was the Sawmill, a great ale with a bit of haze. Venue had a great atmosphere, will definitely go again!

Smoky beef short rib burger with crispy thick fries and a savoury cheese mayo dip was the BOMB! Also shout out to the bearded manager / bartender / waiter / cashier who deserves a promotion as he was clearly doing 3 persons job!

A great find for craft beer lovers. Has a hugeee section of craft beers and has great bar bites and foods. Had tried their popcorn chicken with fries. They were kind enough to put their chook sauce onto it. Absolutely amazing customer service. Very helpful staff. Had a great experience. Must try for craft beer lovers or anyone who would like to grab a beer with a quick bite.

Great selection of beers to taste. Burgers were also on point. The chicken burger in particular was delicious. Cool spot to hang out and have a couple of beers.

Had a great time at Smiths. Was greeted with great hospitality and love its casual vibe with a fantastic song list. Interesting selection, and just had to test try a cheeky champagne Pilsner which blew my mind. Absolutely love their DNA IPA. We were here coincidentally during their winter pride festival and I love a local business that embraces diversity. Enjoying a beer while overlooking the mountains - life doesn’t get any better than this.

🫤 I am sorry to say this tasted no better than something I would make at home. Stale thick buns, under flavoured and overcooked patty, the Devil Burger was not good. My 5 friends ordered a variety of beef and lamb burgers, and even the wrap. All had massive issues. Somehow this was recommended to me...
