The order machine ran out of paper. I asked one of the staff members to clean up a table, as you can see from the pictures, all were like that. The staff member came and cleaned the table but she was not happy about it, probably because the place is understaffed and it's beneath her. I should have apologised to her majesty for bothering her with menial tasks. They don't give you napkins, wet wipes anything to wipe your hands with. The floor is somewhat sticky from all the grease that nobody bothers to clean. The bins were overfilled and nobody bothered to clean the tables. Food was OK, but not that great. If you ever think about eating at this McDonald's, probably avoid it and move on.

A staff girl present name Hana York was very rude. She didn't even announce my order and the coffee got cold. I asked for ketchup. She refused. After asking 3-4 times. She passed the ketchup in a very inappropriate manner. After sometime she came on the floor for cleaning. She started banging the bins, the boom and dust pan so loud . Everyone at McDonald's was disturbed by her behaviour. Rest of the team is well behaved but not HANA YORK.

A big no from me the service isnt it unfortunately. The manager or girl in grey top and light hair making coffee 13/09 4:05pm obviously doesn’t like working with people or her job. When working with customers you need to like working with people and be more customer focused. The atmosphere is off clearly by the already 1.5 star rating this store has! TRAINING IS KEY and feedback is a gift. Someone need to look and sort it out 😊 Kindest Jazmine

Poor maintenance of dinning area, some order machine ran out of receipt paper. And the most disappointing thing is that my Big Mac was made with a missing middle bun…. How can the kitchen team mess up a popular and classic burger item from the menu…

Man this McDonald’s has saved my life on many occasions when I’m brutally hungover in Auckland international. They also have a menu item that’s not in Australia on the breakfast menu which is like a mchicken and is so good it’s criminal

Ordered pancakes, two sausage and egg mcmuffins with hot chocolate. Pancakes were good, hot and fresh, one sausage muffin had no egg and looked as though it was slapped together by a toddler, the hot chocolate was cold and the hash brown was squashed and stuck to the paper. Staff seemed like they hate their jobs and customers alike. Not wasting any money there again.

Ordered and paid for a fruit bag using the machine. A staff member called me over and told me they were out of fruit and asked if I wanted fries instead. I said ‘no thanks’ and asked for a refund instead. After much faffing around a different staff member appeared with a handful of small coins. I said that I’d paid with credit card but she told me McDonalds’ policy is to only refund in cash. I pointed out I was literally leaving the country in 20 minutes and wouldn’t have any use for a bunch of NZ coins (in fact, it being 2023 I had managed to get through my entire visit to NZ without needing cash). The surly staff member said ‘rules is rules’, dramatically dropped the money on the counter and walked away into the kitchen. I waited for her to come back out and asked if there was someone else I could discuss this with - she said to call head office and that I could look up the number and again walked away. I had to catch my flight but did try to call. I spoke to two different people who put me on hold where I then got ‘disconnected’. I then filled in a web form and never got a response. So I lost a few of my hard earned dollars which isn’t the end of the world BUT when customer service at McDonalds - both in store and at head office has reached this low it makes me wonder if the end of the world is in fact approaching!

So disappointing, I won't be going here again. They ran out of hot chocolate (before 9am) the wait was incredibly long and they didn't complete my order! 3 items were missing! I didn't notice until we arrived back home as my son was over traveling so we quickly left the airport. The one thing I did eat before leaving was the hash brown and that was good.
