Often go for a browse to look at patterns and dress fabrics. Bought curtain fabric and accessories there on sale that I'm very happy with. They have very good sales and lots of dress fabrics. Not good for buttons, however. I go to Lincraft for those, as they have huge range. Their knitting yarns are a bit rubbish from my experience. But that's a general trend all over, probably. Their general stock is a bit overpriced but again the sales are good. I've never managed to find sheets there cos they tend to be out of the ones I want at the time and I wouldn't buy them at regular price. Duvet covers are nothing special either.

The woman in the curtain department after initially being very helpful, was so rude! We weren’t in a hurry but her stress levels were high and she hollered at us to go to the checkout over there as she was going to be with this man for a while longer. We were not in a hurry, and my hubby who didn’t want to come in to start with, definitely won’t be going to spotlight with me again. We were gobsmacked.

Love spotlight. Staff are awesome. I cannot go there without coming out with new fabric (even if I didn’t go there for it haha). They have a great selection and sometimes you can get lucky and find some really cool stuff in the clearance (like nice jersey for $10/m). Also great when you need baking supplies like food colouring. The click and collect is also great, always ready quickly and very convenient and a safe way to shop there as you collect from the checkout at the entrance so don’t even need to go up to the second floor haha.

Service was terrible. I know it's a busy time but both staff members we encountered were not overly helpful. If we could get what we wanted at other outlets we wouldn't go to Spotlight.

First time visit, felt like a fish out of water - ground floor staff were not helpful, willing to show me where I needed to go/find item felt brushed off. 2nd floor staff willing and friendly when I said I've never been in the shop. Very well stocked craft section. One or two grumpy staff makes me question whether it's a good place to work. On the whole the go to place for craft, sewing, party supplies.

I Googled before heading to the store to make sure that they accepted Afterpay and that they had everything that I wanted to set up my Airbnb room. I spent 2 hours shopping for everything I needed. I got some amazing bargains and a few extras! My Airbnb room was going to be 5 star! 🥳🎉🎊 I got to the check out, put it all through, was happy with the price of $580, got my $40 discount for being a VIP member 🥰 Scanned my Afterpay, it declined! Then, I got told..."I'm sorry we don't accept Afterpay in store, only online" then I got told that they were having Afterpay problems online too so that I couldn't actually shop online with Afterpay either. Wasted 2 hours of my time in my very busy day. Extremely disappointed are the polite words I can say on here 😡🤬🤬 Went over the road to Briscoes, spend another 2 hours shopping and spent the same price for better quality products as they had better discounts. Will no longer be shopping at Spotlight!

I was surprised at the good prices even when no sale was on. Some items where still cheaper than briscoes sale items. Plus they have there own carpark
