The worst mental health service. It is very rare to find someone on staff who actually cares and are willing to do anything. The amount of times suicidal and depressed people have been told to “try holding ice, have a bath, a cup of tea”, is beyond a joke. As a last resort and hope for people you’d think they would actually do something, they have let me and people I know down time and time again. Then blame you after an attempt for not reaching out, but why would you when experience with them leaves you feeling worthless, pathetic, attention seeking and utterly unimportant. I am aware it’s “the system”, but come on! It’s a complete joke and no wonder our suicide rates are so high. DO BETTER!

I gave one star because I had to in order to have my say. The CRS Team are an awesome group of people who are hog tied by financial and legal constraints. I have fought for and with my daughter for ten years and have experienced poor and no assistance with this 'service'. I'm a Registered Nurse working within Mental Health and that makes no difference. If you have a loved one suffering with mental health issues, hold them close because the NZ Health system is sick itself and won't help you.

It was my first time calling a number like this. The doctor and other mental health service provided me this number when I was having really bad suicidal thoughts and if it got too much for me to handle. I was told to call the number immediately beforehand but I didn’t because I get anxious with phone calls. So I called them when the thoughts got too much for me to handle and felt I was a risk to myself. As I said I never called a phone number. So I was confused what to say at all, so I talking about what is the cause of me feel like I’m at risk. I thought it is obvious calling a phone number like this means you feel like you are a risk to yourself. And assumed they should know if someone calls the phone number they’re suicidal. I just wanted someone to comfort me while I’m at that state. She had the audacity to respond to me saying “you realise you have called a crisis number and there are other numbers you can call if you just want to talk”. I felt so dismissed with my feelings like I wasn’t suicidal enough. She Suggested better help. which they should of know the controversy about how you don’t need to be a license therapist to work for better help and better help has other dodgy stuff as well. Also she belittled my experience about what triggered me to relapsed on my eating disorder causing me to have a massive mental breakdown.

These guys are a core part of a massive depopulation / eugenics scheme and aren't even trying to hide it Their goal is to kill you quietly by making you do it yourself if you're hesitant enough to call them I don't know what to tell you to do instead of calling these guys because they should just be helping not harming, im sorry I don't have anything better. 'Do no harm' means nothing to these folks Most of them are heavily afflicted by or just are demons Every time I've dealt with these folks, I've had to have my partner call because of their sheer audacity. And also I've never come out feeling better after talking to them. Only ever worse - even after literal attempts. If you're one of the miniscule percent that manage to get a diagnostic clarification appointment (I don't even know how my partner managed to get that, absolute kudos to him), it's not even a legal diagnosis but just an 'impression' by a nurse who doesn't have the legal authority to do a full diagnosis and by people who have 'other stuff to do' and don't even listen or bother explaining their questions, it's that bad, they literally said in their report I wasn't bullied???? They said I denied the very things I asked for clarification on??? Like what? How is that meant to be a diagnostic clarification if you write the complete wrong stuff down? These folks don't listen. They work. They work to make you feel worse. This is not a shallow warning, this is an understatement

My friend was told when she mentioned she was suicidal “ok, bye” and hung up on by a lady with an accent. Disgusting human being should be fired.

These people are cruel and do not care, they will make you feel worse. I stopped using this number years ago because 9 times out of 10 I left the phone feeling worse. Seeing its associated with hillmorton, honestly now I'm not surprised. Please call a loved one, a friend. Anyone. Because these cold cruel people WILL ONLY MAKE YOU WORSE.
